I tried this on the neoboards. It didn't go too well. XD So let's try it here.
The rules are the usual: no godmoding, powerplaying, keep romance moderate, and don't flirt with my characters. They don't respond to such things. XD
I am playing Howl and Sophie, as well as some made-ups of mine. Yes, there is a plot. I warn you that if this goes anywhere, it may get made into a fanfic... because the plot is the same as the story I was writing, only I ran out of ideas for the story. Originals are welcome, but I do admit that made-ups are preferred.
This will be based on a mixture of the book and movie, by the way. And perhaps some elements from "Castle in the Air" (book, not to be confused with Castle in the Sky).
So here goes.
Plot: Far to the northeast of Ingary lives a powerful sorceress named Urana. She and her sister have lived there, secluded from all civilization, for years as they honed their powers. For Urana, it is not enough. Her wish is to become the most powerful sorceress in the world, and to achieve this goal she plans to trap witches and wizards to steal their power for herself. And the first wizard she attracts is none other than Wizard Howl himself, the most powerful wizard in Ingary... but now Urana may have attracted more than she bargained for...
Intro::
The townspeople of Kingsbury looked curiously at the newcomer. She was tall, with lithe muscles and tanned skin, and long black hair that was tied back in a loose bun. Her narrow, angular face and sharp gray eyes bore an alert, confident look. She was dressed in worn traveling clothes, and wore a knife at her side. She appeared young to be such a seasoned traveler, about 18.
She walked up to one of the curious passersby. "Excuse me, where would I buy a locating spell?"
Surprised at being spoken to, the man pointed down the street. "Wizard Pendragon is closest," he said. "Or... perhaps it's Wizard Howl now. Not at all sure anymore." She thanked him and walked up to the house he indicated. Putting her chin up boldly, she rapped the door briskly.
Inside, she heard someone yell, "Kingsbury door!" That's odd, she thought. Where else would a door open when the house is in Kingsbury?
A woman opened the door. Silvery hair fell around her eyes, but she didn't look much older than the traveler herself. Her face was pale and anxious. "Yes?"
"I'm here for a locating spell," said the traveler. "The name is Emeralda."
