*Set faraway in the past of Earth*
Far in the galaxy, along the rims of our very own Milky Way, was the infamous colony of Creature Riders called, the "Sieeran". They were a long living colony of specialized military heros, dedicated to protecting their civilization and their beasts: the dragons and pegasus.
They had been taking a liking to Earth, and now, around 600 years ago, the Sieeran finally decided to settle on the planet. Much to their surprise, life didn't seem to evolve yet. All there was were microscopic animals, little beasts that were completely harmless.
The Sieeran made their militia homes under caverns and in a rather large series of canyons to the northwest of the globe. Their dragons and pegasus surprisingly enjoyed the scenery, since the dragons preferred the dark caves and the pegasus liked the wide open valleys.
But soon their home was in danger.
This mysterious group of lizard-like beings emerged out of nowhere into these caverns, destroying and conquering their land piece by piece until they grew all powerful. The event happened just half a decade ago. No one even knows the lizard species or what they want, but its certain they are slowly destroying the Sieeran.
There is one last military establishment where dragons and pegasus are still being raised and chosen to fight with riders. Some riders have actually been in combat with wars, others were assigned to spy on these lizard beings, and many more were specified to patrol and defend the remaining base.
A shadowed figure paced about the stalls of the base, his jet black moppy and shaggy over his head and his eyes droopy with little sleep. His uniform was muddy brown from soils and fairly tattered. He had just gotten back from a battle, just before his dragon's mate started to give birth to a litter.
I hope most of them survive, The man thought impatiently. He wanted to see how the litter would do. These aren't the best conditions for a dragon, or, for that matter, a pegasus. He gritted his teeth and halted his sloppy pace, curling up a fist. Those stupid reptile people...argh!
