Thawheneb nodded, forgeting what he was going to say as he watched his Queen. When she was nearly completely in the battle garb he found his words. "You were also at alive at the acursed time of Hjary." he said quickly. "What you asked shall me done my Queen." He snapped his arms to the opposite shoulders in a Drow salute, then bowed and turned on his heel, leaving the chamber of his leader. He walked among his warrior, looking at the youngest and pulling the ones that he'd trained, which accounted for more than half of the younglings in the Army. He marched all the Warriors and slaves he had chosen out to the front gates, waiting for his Queen to appear, to lead them in what was sure to be their ultimate victory. * * * * Theningwanur watched as Arajary left. "You will meet two legions of Drow Warriors." he shouted, "I hope you know what you are doing, for if you do not you will surely be killed." Thenin sighed and looked down at his niece and picked her up, placing her on his shoulders. "Yes you may come young one." he said to her, "Luckily your Father is visiting the Elders there, so he will be able to take you home after a day of two." He looked at the others. "Follow me." he said, turning on his heel, and starting the trek to the capitol.

(Obviously, no one was paying attention when Kaythar dissapeared into the darkness of the woods. He's not in the group. If he was, he would have been saying more. If you're confused, he basically is feeling he doesn't belong anywhere anymore, now that he's betrayed the Drow and Light Elves hate him by heritage. He'll return sometime later.)

"Oh I'll be fine," Arajay muttered grimly as she walked towards where the Drow were.

Diae returned the salute to Thawheneb and as soon as he was gone she grabbed a black crystal and gripped it carefully. It was the only thing that let her see clearly past the birder. She found the boy and observed the scene with interest as the corner's of her mouth twisted up into a cruel smile as a deviously horrible plan aroused her mind. Minding the time she latched her father's silver chain around her neck for luck and grabbed the last of her battle gear and ran off to make preparations. After an hour she rode out to the front gates on her stallion and placed herself in front of the eager soldiers. "Today is the beginning of a new era! From this day forward we shall claim victory over our enemies and have the realm engulfed in darkness! Do not take from granted your duties as Drow warriors! Slay what you must and bring me any traitors of our kind you may come across! Se fr'n osre jun isa shai nasaor!" with that battle cry she thrust her sword high into the air and savored the bloodthristy cries of the soldiers. ******** Tessa held on carefully to her uncle and watched some others follow close behind. She stared into the noble faces of the Elves standing amoung the trees and for some reason sensed a great danger in their midst.

Sword held high, one Drow gave out his own battle cry. His helmet had a mask that went over his face, hiding most of it. So, this was what Diae had planned. He filed it away in his mind for later use.

Arajay didn't acknowledge Chris as she continued on her way. Sheesh, they're acting like I'm some sort of weakling, she thought. If they outnumber me, I can just bluff my way through.

As soon as the cries died down a bit Diae maneauvered herself to the rear and let the general lead on the legions. She gave a cruel smile as she watched a small Drow child scurry through the forrest off to te side
"All is going as planned...." the queen thought to herself.

Kaythar thought of how he could leave the legions unnoticed. During a time of chaos would do, but he'd still risk being noticed by Diae or Thawheneb, or any other troops. Slipping out wouldn't be as easy as slipping into the ranks was, he knew.

Thawheneb lead the Armies on for several miles before raising his hand, stopping them. His sensative Drow ears twitched as he heard the thundering foot steps of another Army. He sniffed the air as a light breeze carried a fimilair scent with it, the scent of his Light Elf uncle Theningwanur. The General could tell that the svent was coming from the forest, but that didn't stop the hatred from rising in him. Theningwanur was the Elven King Quison's High General, the king who had supported Hjary's curse on the Drow. One of only a few who had supported it openly for they knew that they were already targets, supporting the banishment would only make them more of a target. Thawheneb snarled at the memory as the enemy army came to a halt in front of them. The Second Legion of Silverlode stood before them, an Elven Army the General had long been desiring to destroy. Another surge of anger flooded into Thawheneb at the site of the Army, this had been the one that had destroyed his brother, so he would destroy them. His men moved to draw their weapons. "Stop." he ordered them, "I will take care of this slim." The legendary Drow General did a front flip off of his horse, drawing his cruel looking swords, one side a smooth elegant looking blade, the other serrated. As he landed he thrust his blades into the ground. For a moment nothing happened, then fire burst from the ground and consumed the Light Elven Army. The screams of the Second Legion brought a cruel smile to Thawheneb's face, his uncle would have a worst fate than this when he found him. * * * * * Theningwanur paused as he heard the screams, even this deep in the forest he could clearly hear them. "Thawheneb...." he whispered barely audibly, knowing that the slayer of the army was his now deceased brother's son.

Kaythar's heart skipped a beat when he saw the cruelty Thawheneb showed in completely whiping out the army. He managed to remain still and simply watch; he didn't want to draw attention to himself.
