Jamaitre looked at Gerju. "Do you think we should try to rescue Havin?" he asked. "I know he's gotten himself into trouble with the way he ran out of here." "No," Gerju replied, "we have to get the Sword and then we get Havin." he sighed. "I'd hate to put an object before our brother but we must do it." Jama sighed. "Very well brother." he said. "But how do you propose we get the sword back, the Elves will have it will be heavily gaurded." "I know." Gerju said. "And I have a plan for that......" * * * Demith hesitiated for a moment and then drew his sword and severed his brother's head. "Have I proved my loyalty my Queen?" he asked, still not meeting her eyes as that was considered bad luck without having permission to gaze upon the Queen. He held to the old traditions as he had been taught to until he became the Queen's friend as Thawheneb was, but even the great Drow general respected the traditions. Thawheneb looked around his tent. What had caused his second form to come out. He hadn't used that form in years, and there was only one way it could have come to the surface without his consent. A Royal had used their powers over this form to remind them of their direct servitude to the Royal Line. The General snarled, why would Diae have used those powers? She already knew that he was fiercely loyal to her and would not even consider betrayl if she ordered him to kill every Drow in a family as punishment. His family had been taken away from him by the Surface Scum. He knew that the only way to ensure loyalty among the ranks was to rule with the cruelity that the Drow were known for. He would give his own life for the Queen if it meant ensuring that she would never be challanged in anyway. He was sure that his own death would do that, for he was second only to the Queen and he was the only one who could choose his successor. If he did not the Games would be held, only the bravest and most skilled warriors would be competing, the last one standing would be the champion and be named General. Thawheneb sighed, it was time for him to see the Queen and ask her what the meaning of the reminder of servitude was. Surely her father had told her about his transformation, that he was one of the most powerful of that caste, believed by her father to be second only to the Royals. But the General was nervous about the questions he was going to ask, and how he could ask them without having his head removed.

Havin stirred awake in the cold, stone prison cell and rubbed the sore spot on his head where the elf had struck him. Grabbing onto one of the steel bars he hoisted himself up and realized all his weapons had been taken away. Cursing loudly he slammed his fist into the wall and heard mocking laughter coming from the barred window of the cell. Havin turned to angrily hurl a stone at whoever it was but stopped short staring in fear at who it was "K-Ke'vra?" he stammered. The drow giggled again and sneered in his direction. "Funny how much you humans grow in ten years. But my my my, you haven't changed a bit otherwise Havin. Not to worry though, I'm here to help you this time around." Havin clenched his fists and shouted "Don't toy with me with me you wench. You made my life miserable back then why would I have reason to trust you now?" As part of training each Roald was eventually sent into slavery for the Drow so they could have a better understanding of the cruelty other humans had to suffer through and why restoring the Heir to the throne of Kretog was so important to the future or humanity. For three grueling years of his childhood Havin was beaten daily by Ke'vra whether he had been disobedient or not. Ke'vra sighed and poked around at the bars lazily "I'm a traitor now, banished from the Drow realm for eternity. I must admit I'll miss torturing all the little slaves like you. But now I prefer to help any cause that will bring destruction to those would threw me from my homeland." Playfully she dangled his crossbow and a set of keys from the window. "And I know you can't get too far without these." "Okay fine," he sighed "What do I have to do?" ***** Diae was in silent. Only a devoted student of Thawheneb's would've carried out such an order, but nevertheless it had been done and Demith had proven himself. Finally she mentally dismissed the guard and nodded approvingly to Demith. "I see you are one of the few of our age to continue on with our traditions and beliefs. I have no doubt in your loyalty. Now look at me. These instructions will be brief but I don't wish to repeat them." "Yesterday there was an ambush on one of our slave caravans. In the fervor we lost one that I have a particular need for. It has been confirmed that the slave is somewhere within Griswah where we attack today. He is a human of roughly 13 years by their standards and should be the only human within the Scum's capital. I want him captured and delivered to our prison unharmed and preferably unconscious." She grabbed the pouch from the table and tossed it over to Demith. "This contains a few of his hairs if you know how to use them for controlling or obedience spells against him. If Thawheneb gives you any other assignments simply tell him 'Nindol zhah ussta lar'aen.' That is all I can tell you for now so you may go." Standing up Diae polished off her blade and slid it back into the scabbard. "But be wary Demith. If you fail me you will be returning to our realm in shourd and coffin."

Jamaitre looked at his eldest, his eyes wide with surprise at the blodness of the plan. "Gerju, have you even considered how heavily gaurded that section is. Let alone the House of Relics!" He said. "Yes I have, and it is the only way to gain the sword." Gerju sighed and shook his head. "There is no other way, if we want to stand any chance of tapping into it's true power we must recover it, regardless of the cost." "We could end up having to kill a dozen of our allies." Jama said. "Have you even considered what position Father would be in with the Elves then?" "We have no chioce Jama!" Gerju snapped. "The Elves are hard headed and stubbron, not to mention arrogant. If we do not procure that blade Kretog will never be free, for that blade is the key to the Heir's powers." "Very well." Jama said, giving into the fact that his brother was right, despite the harm it would cause their relationship with the Elves. "We leave now?" "In a few moments." Gerju said. "We must wait only a few moments....." * * * Demith stood and bowed deeply. "I will retrieve him my Queen." he said. "If I do not I will kill myself before I bring disgrace to my family." Without another word he left and immeadiately went to his tent and grabbed his cloak and hid his weapons beneath it. Then he slipped out, the hair of the boy in one of his pockets. Why this slave was so important he did not know, but such things usually meant that he had no need to know them. He was there to serve his Queen, if she wanted him to know she would have told him. All things would be revealed to him he believed, but that would be when the time was right and the Queen had need for him to know those things. Thawheneb walked to the Queen's tent, only to be stopped by a gaurd at the enterance to the Great Tent. "General Thawheneb, the Queen has not summoned you." he said. "You will leave now and return later when she requests your presence." "I need to speak with her now about the battle." Thawheneb said, careful to keep the anger out of his voice and eyes as he was talked down to by an underling. "That can wait until the Queen has time for you." the gaurd said. "Move aside before I remove you underling." he said, but the gaurd did not move in the slightest. It was foolish to talk down to a General when one like Thawheneb could cut him down where he stood. But even Thawheneb had to respect this one's bravery and for that reason would not kill him. But if he did not obey the General's orders soon he might just cause the gaurd enough pain for him to wish that he had been killed.

((Methinks Theningwanur should wake up now )) Without warning Ke'vra shouted "Flamgra'in chathen voen'llyl ussta lar!" and a loud bang and cloud of smoke filled the cell. When it cleared it revelaed a large section of the wall had been blasted away. Havin hurried through and grabbed his crossbow and the cloak she held out. "We have to hurry," he said throwing it on. "The guards were bound to have heard that." They ran through the less crowded areas of the city towards the military complex. Suddenly a realization hit Havin and he stopped in his tracks aiming his crossbow at Ke'vra. "Just a minute now. First of all, how did you know I was here and how did you know my business in the capitol? And I also know for a fact that the Drow don't believe in banishment. The only punishments for crime and betrayel in the Drow realm is imprisonment and death." Ke'vra glared at him angrily. "The first question is fair enough. Do you not remember your brother was also once a slave of mine? I placed a truth charm upon him so he'd have to tell me everything he saw in his premonitions. So I learned quite a bit about your family's duty and future. But if you ask me that second question again I swear I'll burn, beat and castrate you then deliver what's left of your sorry self to the authorties..." ***** Diae was pleased to say the least. The Queen never intended to have a mate but she was still under an old hex that forced her to be obedient to her father’s demands. But now she was quite keen to the idea of Demith winning the Games and joining her family. She turned hearing the commotion outside and recognized Thawheneb's usual threatening tone. Approaching the flap her heart skipped a beat as she stopped and realized her general also possessed the rare second form. Diae hoped desperately that Thawheneb hadn't been close enough when Demith transformed and that he hadn't come to inquire. Swallowing a nervous lump in her throat Diae reapproached the enterance to the Grand Pavilion and addressed her guard "Jeroc it's alright. I appreciate your loyalty to duty but General Thawheneb has jurisdiction to speak with me whenever he wishes."

((I think we need to give Sam Man a summary. I' thinking about starting another RP that happens before this one, probably will be in the days of the first Royal Hjary or slightly before that.)) Jeroc bowed his head to the Queen. "Very well Chosen." he said, using the name of the Royal House that was seldom ever used. Thawheneb smiled inwardly, That will teach you your place underling. he thought as he walked into the Grand Pavilion. He bowed to the Queen, as proper, especially since he was going to ask her the question that he wanted answered most. "My Queen, why did you command all those of the Dark Angel caste to come forward?" he asked, taking care to keep any shred of the anger he felt at being reminded of his blood bound servitude to the Royal House out of his voice. * * * Theningwanur's eyes popped open, he was instantly on his feet as his mind became fully alert. He walked over to his dresser and grabbed his swords and donned his armor and then walked out into the streets. He walked to the barracks and looked at his men, who were all standing at attention. "Brothers," he began, "you know what we face, and you know that we must be victorious. For if we are not it spells doom for the Surface Realm. If any one of you wish to leave with your families instead of fight then the time is now. Step forward and go, no one will hold it against you, for we face an enemy in far greater numbers than we have here." he paused. "We may very well die. So once again I say, if you wish to return to your families step forward." Not a single warrior stepped forward, all of them stayed in the line. This, very likely, meant that they would all die, but that would give their people enough time to get out of Griswah. One man stepped forward and turned to face Theningwanur. "General Theningwanur the Elder, Rider of the Havin, the Army of Griswah is at your command." he said snapping his arms to the opposite sides of his chest in salute. "All men, take up your positions on the wall and prepare for the denfense of Griswah." Theningwanur ordered. * * * Jamaitre and Gerju teleported into the House of Relic and were surprised to find it ungaurded. "The won't last for long." Jama said. "They'll know we're here as soon as we take the Sword." "Then lets go ahead and do it and get out of here." Gerju said as they made their way towards the Grand Master's Sword. When they reached it Gerju instantly grabbed it. "Jama, now would be the time to use a portal." "Te'loi het'rip n'oicke'!" Jama said, but nothing happened so he repeated it again with the same affect. "They know we're here and they have a magic dampening spell or item in this place. Luckily my gift isn't in magic." He walked over to a wall and waved his hand, sending a perfect circle of rock flying out of the wall and into the street. "Let's go before the gaurds get here!" They bolted out of the House of Relics and hide in the streets. "Great Plan Gerju." Jama said. "You didn't mention that they had portal dampening spells over the House of Relics, not to mention that it stretchs all the way around this section and affects only non-Light Elves." "I didn't know." Gerju protested. "That great, just great." Jama said. "I thought you would have had the brains to check that out before we did anything like this. How could you be so stupid. The is so . . ." * * * Demith walked the streets of Griswah quietly, never once being stopped for census. He smiled cruelly to himself, these men were idiots, they would fall to the Drow easily. He caught his breath as he passed Ke'vra, a Drow could sense the presence of another in a place like this, he only hoped that Kevra hadn't felt the twinge that Demith had. If Ke'vra had noticed, it could spell doom to his mission. He quickly made his way through many alley ways, hoping to lose Ke'vra before he could notice the twinge. Hopefully if Ke'vra noticed it would be too late and Demith would already be at 'William Hjary's' room.

((...Did Jama just use the force? XD)) Havin snarled a lowered his crossbow. "Fine, if you can't give me an excuse to trust you I won't be needing your help from this point forward." With that he stormed past her and off in the directon of the military complex. But Ke'vra was only half listening. She easily sensed Demith's presence within the city and muttered to herself "Natha olath mirshann z'haanen duul'sso..." Grabbing her whip and dagger form within her cloak Ke'vra bolted off in the direction she felt the twinge. She had memorized the prophecy of Hjary by heart for it spoke of the eventual downfall of the Drow. Ke'vra had been plotting just that for years now and aided anyone who could help. But the prophecy also stated that if "a dark angel" went against the reincarnate of Hjary that only then the Drow would have a chance of defeating him and claiming all of Kretog. She would rather die than let that happen. So for several centuries Ke'vra hunted and killed any Drow that was part of the little-known Dark Angel caste. If she could wipe them out maybe then Hjary had a chance of ending their murderous reign. Demith, however, had outsmarted her numerous times now and probably knew her intentions. But she wasn't going to let him out of her grasp this time. Just as she turned a corner Ke'vra spotted him running down the opposite alley and she shouted out a series of freezing spells hoping they could hit from so far away. ***** Diae felt her temper rise but did her best not to show it. Thawheneb probably didn't realize it but only the more barbaric of the Drow Royals ever had used their power over the caste to remind them of their blood bound servitude. Though she understood why he would approach her concerning it, forced transformation was both insulting and dangerous. She had only seen the General's Dark Angel form once but knew it was significantly different from her own and the others and was one of the few things she honestly feared. "General Thawheneb I assure you that I did not call forth your other form if that is what you are suggesting," she said in a frustrated tone she rarely used with him. "Demith had transformed I assume in attempts to ward off a group of soldiers who attacked him. It probably prompted our own forms to come forth also." She paused suddenly realizing what she had said for it was impossible now that she thought about it. A forced transformation of all the Dark Angel caste only happened when a Royal member willingly transformed. Yet it happened to Diae and she was the only living member of the Royal bloodline. Only one possiblitiy stuck in her mind. "Thawheneb my friend...do you think it is at all possible that, somehow, Demith also possesses Royal blood?" She knew it was indeed possible but wasn't sure she wanted Thawheneb to know that. The Drow all worshipped Quemaroth, the god of darkness, fire and war. Royals were supposedly the direct descendents of the deity. It was believed that, to preserve the purity of the lineage, Quemaroth granted royal blood to those he choose were worthy to enter the ruling family. ***** "That's enough!" A stern harsh voice shouted cutting off Jamaitre's complaints. From the other side of the road an elder human by the name of Arnond Roald stepped out from a gleaming portal and stormed over to the brothers carrying his scythe threateningly. "Imagine how utterly disturbing it was to be quietly enjoying my morning meditation when upon I receive an urgent mental notification from one of my Light Elf contacts regarding the whereabouts of my sons. Do you realize how humiliating it was to hear that the two of you had broken into private property and taken a priceless irreplaceable relic? Or that your brother had been imprisoned then unlawfully escaped?! Such a disgrace to your name and ancestors." Realizing he was almost going into a lecture Arnond stopped and took a deep sigh looking far off where the soldiers stood at the walls. "You'll have to excuse me boys, but you must stop abusing the Elves laws in such ways. They may have a bit too much pride but in the end their kind are gracious and fighting for the same cause as we. Let us go now before we do any more damage. I overrid the magical barrier around this place but this portal won't remain open long so we shall have to come back later for Havin..."

((No he didn't. Telekinesis is an ability separate from magic. Magic is learned. The easiest way to explain Jama's TK is that it's like X-men.)) Demith heard the freeze spells hit the walls and animals behind him and then redoubled his pace. The traitorous Drow would pay for this insult on Demith. One of the little known powers of the Drow was the creature portal, an extremely lethal power when used by even a novice, and the abilty to undo it was known only to a handful of Drow. The apprentice of Thawheneb breathed a few words and a black portal opened behind him and out came a med'reiokmi'sh a fierce creature two meters in length and a meter and a half in height. It had sharp claws and teeth, as well as sharp spikes on its back and sides. "Attack the next Drow to enter this alley." he said as the creature hid in the shadows of the buildings. Demith quickly made his way out of the street and towards Hjary's quarters as he heard the beast jump out and begin his attack. He looked over his shoulder, too fast, hopefully the beast would slow him down a few moments. A handful of moments later Demith walked into Hjary's quarters, when the Elven caretaker asked him a question the Surface Scum's head was removed. "Well, human, you've done quiet well for yourself." he said grabbing the boy and tying his hands behind his back. "Too bad you are sure to be a sacrifice." * * * Jama looked at Gerju. "I told you that we should have told father." he paused and then followed his father as he threw the Shadow Sword to Gerju. "What do you mean by Havin was arrested?" Gerju frowned and followed his father and brother through the portal, knowing that he would have to take the most punishment between the two of them. "At least we didn't have to kill any Elves to get the Sword." he grumbled as they walked into the training halls where they were sure to get lectured for hours. * * * A figure approached Theningwanur, he wore the garb of a peasant but that was only to conceal what he truly was. "Thenin." he said. The Elven General turned and smiled faintly. "Deljak, it's good to see you." he said. "I only wish I was bearing good news." he said. "Some of my people have decided to join the Drow." "How many Dragonic Elves are we talking about here?" Thenin asked quietly. "Five hundred, and Teguyt is leading them. They would blend in with the Light Elves if they wished, but they believe that would destroy the honor of those involved." Deljak said. "They will only dissolve their features to blend in with the Dark Ones. And should they decide to take mates of the Drow, especially the two hundred female warriors among the rebels we are in even more danger than we thought. They could overwhelm us in the air due to the fact that our women give birth every five months and our children mature extremely rapidly for being Immortal." "So we could face total annihilation." Thenin said. "Yes." Deljak said. "And because of the rebelous few of my kind." * * * Thawheneb paused. "I do not know my Queen." he said, "It could be possible, but that still does not explain why he would be able to call forth your form. He should now have been able to do that." he looked at her. "With Royal blood he would be a perfect mate for you. The two of you would birth strong sons and daughter I am sure." A black cloaked figure entered the tent, his scaled wings revealing who he and what he was. "My people are at your command chosen. Ready to carry out your every command."

Havin took a quick look back and noticed Ke'vra had seemed to have vanished and hadn't bothered to come after him. Shrugging to himself he climbed up the outside of the building with much ease, but took awhile to find the window to William's quarters. When he found it Havin stared in terror at the disembodied head of the Light Elf lying on the floor. Even after being enslaved to the Dark Ones all those years he still couldn't handle seeing such things. But when he saw the Drow soldier appear and capture the boy and swelling of anger errupted inside him and he shattered the window and swung through. "Aretme nui'ras zintros!" he shouted making two swords appear in his fists. One the glowed with a blinding light and the one encased in an aura of darkness. Havin thrusted them together and they merged into a large broadsword with the features of the original two. It was the Teilight blade in which only skilled Shadow Arts practioners could summon and delivered a blow ten times the capability of the wielder. "You shall regret the moment you even considered ensnaring the Heir you treacherous fiend!" he snarled charging at the Drow with the blade taking caution not ot harm William. ***** Ke'vra didn't notice the portal for it was gone before she turned into the alley. Seeing Demith was no longer in sight she stopped and scanned the intersection for any sign, but the beast lunged out from the shadows before she had a chance to get any furthur. The Dark Elf screamed and leapt back scarmbling for her whip. Lashing it out the end wrapped around a cluster of spikes protruding from it's upper back. Ke'vra wrenched it back tearing them from it's flesh and the med gave a sickening roar of agony as brownish blood spurted from its back. Before she made another lash the med swiped its claws leaving a long series of gashes across her stomach. Biting back the pain Ke'vra lept up slamming her feet down hard on the beasts head and rammed her dagger into the back of it's neck. Sliding to the ground as the best fell she staggered across the alleyway clutching her midriff. Poisons from the med's claws sent a painful numbing sensation slowly coursing through her veins. She hadn't gone far when she suddenly blacked out and collapsed in the middle of an open street. ***** Arnond returned his scythe to the armory and turned to his sons. "I am proud that you retrieved the Master Shadow Sword but under the circumstances all I can say is you're both lucky to be alive. The Light Elves have become less and less tolerant of our kind. Ever since the fall of our capital and realm only small villages of humans remain. But they are suffering from constant attack from both forces of nature and Drow alike. Normally they would have been able to take refuge with Elven cities but because of petty crimes made by the humans within their walls they have become increasingly spiteful to aid any humans, innocent of crime or not." He sighed and stared out the window into the lavish forrest that surrounded the training halls. "How I wish we could allow the rest of our kind to dweel within this dimension with us but for protective reasons our ancestors cursed it do only those of Hjary and Roald blood could enter. All I can hope at this point is that Havin will return safely with Lord Hjary and the artifacts." ***** Diae nodded to the Dragonic Elf, "I wouldn't have it any other way Teguyt. And I promise if your aerial attack proves effective in the assault I can promise you and your followers a great deal of land within my realm." Suddenly the wall of the tent Diae was facing came down as the slaves disassembled the camp. The queen clutched her face and shrieked as the sunlight flooded in blinding her temporarily. One of the few flaws of the Dark ones was their eyesight was extremely sensitive to bright lights. Pulling her hood up to shade out the sunlight Diae snarled and drew her blade beheading the slave who loosened the flap. Seeing that the rest of the Drow encampment was pretty much disassembled she turned to the others "Let us begin our attack on the Surface Scum..."

Demith snarled. "Maybe you haven't read the prophecy correctly. I doubt that you can stop me young Roald." he said, letting his second form. "Ke'vra probably would have made you a good vile mate by your kind's standards. She didn't tell you why she left her Kin did she?" he laughed as he threw Hjary behind him and called forth the swords of the Dark Arts. He smirked as they appeared in his hands, the Sword of Everlasting Shadow and the Sword of Death. He could also fuse these two together and that was exactly what he did. He put the two blades together and they joined forming the Heturtenm sword, only a near Master could summon this sword. Demith was near that level, but Thawheneb had not yet promoted him to Master, he knew why but it was still and annoyance to him. "Fight me, if you even think you can beat me." he challenged. * * * Jama looked at his Father. "I need to go back Father." he said. "I can fight alongside the Elves and try to earn their forgiveness by fighting with them. That could also help the other Humans." Gerju shook his head. "That is folly Jama." he said. "The only thing that will accomplish is your death." Jama looked at Gerju sharply. "At least I am trying to thing of a way to make things right with the Elves for your plan." He said more angrily than he had intended. * * * Thawheneb quickly drew his hood forward and snarled at the slaves. "Yes my Queen, we shall begin the battle." he said looking at his men. "Prepare for the destruction of the Elves." He looked over at the Dragonic Elf. "Assuming that your people aren't overwhelmed by their Surface loyal Kin we should be successful." "We will be successful." Tegyut growled, glaring at Thawheneb threateningly. "It is your forces that you should be focusing on." "We will be victorious." he said looking over at Diae. "We have the Chosen of the Gods with us."

“Your threats are empty to me you vermin.” Havin scoffed. “The prophecy has been my life and that of my family since it was conceived. So don’t think for a second that you understand it better than I." No matter how confident he may have sounded Havin couldn't help but feel afraid as the dark features of Demith's second form appeared. Nevertheless he took fighting stance with his blade blatantly accepting the Drow’s challenge. Havin was not the strongest fighter by a long shot but he’d rather die at the mercy of an enemy than turn his back on his duty. Hoping Jama and Gerju made it back to the forest safely he raised the Shadow Masters Blade and lept forward lunging it at his throat. Right as he feinted to strike Havin shouted "Olem luceras mac'na!" and shot the brightest light spell he could conjure right in Demith's face and shouted to the boy "Run William! Get out of here now!" ***** Arnond stood and pondered Jama's query with a deep furl in his brow. Finally he nodded and turned back to his sons. "At this point into yours lives I don't feel it's my duty to dictate your beliefs. And Jamaitre my son, if you believe that by fighting along side the Light Elves the rifts between our people and theirs will begin to heal then I won't stop you. If you are wise Gerju you will join him as well. Though a noble cause I think it would be a more than appropriate punishment for the crimes you committed today. Death may await many citizens of Griswah today but you may rest assured that you won’t be suffering the same fate. Why? Because there is one last thing you boys should know about our family.” Leaning his head against the window frame and staring out Arnond continued. “There is one curse our ancestors laid upon us that is not too regrettable. Since we humans live such short lives compared to the elves and gnomes of Kretog its almost impossible to gain the amount of strength and power they earn through hundreds of years of training. Whatever powers or strength that a Roald possess when they die is passed on to the next to be born. Since this has been happening for tens of thousands of years now you two and Havin carry the legacy of our entire bloodline. But only yourselves can figure out how to tap into it.” ***** Diae sighed to herself and turned her head down stepping from her tent to find her stallion. "The Chosen of the Gods..." she thought to herself. It was a title the Queen had received from an early age. When she had assumed the throne of the Dark Ones as a child many were skeptical that Diae would last long as a ruler. But within time her people realized that any battle Diae fought in was always a victory for the Drow. Also her tutors couldn't help but notice her arcane powers of the Dark Arts excelled far beyond those of even the priests of Quemaroth. Never before had a queen ruled alone over the Drow. But under Diae they had prospered faster than ever before. And it was declared by the priests that she had been blessed by the Dark Gods to lead the realm of Drow to their ultimate victory. Very eager to fufil whatever tasks the deities may hae given her Diae's life had been full of constant brutal training and luxery. But not too long ago she discovered exactley what her abilities meant, but still hadn't told anyone. Not even Thawheneb who she usually entrusted anything to

Demith howled in rage as his eyes were struck by the light, but that did not stop him from snapping his leg out, stopping young Hjary's attempted escape. His eyes recovered quickly and he brought his blade up to block, pulling his neck back as an added procaution. The Drow snarled. "You will pay for that insult Surface Scum." he said. He slashed at Havin's stomach, hoping to open him up for a quick get away, though he doubt a Roald would be so easily defeated. * * * Jama nodded, not asking any questions. "We will figure it out." he said looking at Gerju. "Let's go and help the Elves, hopefully they'll forgive us for your stupid idea." "It wasn't stupid." Gerju said as Jama created the portal. "At least I had one." He added as he walked through the portal and into a dark alley. Jama looked around the alley. "Crap," he said, "the portal must have been thrown off by their magic barrier." "I thought you were an expert on portal spells." Gerju said, unaware that their arguement was being heard by their father on the other side of the portal. "I am, well at least with basic portal spells, not with overriding magical barriers." he said. "That's Father and Havin specialty." "So that excucses you. . ." he let the sentence trail off as his eyes landed on a collapsed figure in the alley near the carcass of some animal. Gerju walked over to the figure and turned it over, the being inside the cloak he recognized instanly. "Kev'ra." he said looking over at the carcass. "A med. We've got to take her back to our realm Jama." "You're crazy." Jamaitre said. "Father will never allow a Drow inside of our dimension." he shook his head. "Let her die, she deserves it anyway." "There is a med in this alley, she must have killed it." Gerju said. "Now tell me, how does a revered Drow predatory creature get inside of a walled Elven city." "A creature portal." Jama said, his tone was one of disbelief. "But that means that there is a drow in the city." "Exactly." Gerju said, lefting Kev'ra in his arms. "And I have to save her to find out who it is." He saw that the portal was about to close so he ran through it and appeared before his father with a Drow in his arms. "Please don't start Father." he said, taking the Drow to one of the healing tables and began the process of healing her from med poison. * * * Thawheneb mounted his horse as the Dragonic-Elf stood, smiling darkly. The great Dark Elven general looked at the Cloaked One. "What are you smiling about?" Teguyt looked up at Thawheneb. "I have tasted the blood of your children Thawheneb." he said. "They have a great taste and I shall enjoy eating your flesh should you die today." Thawheneb's eyes turned fiery red, he drew his sword, stopping it at the Dragonic-Elf's throat. "You did what to my child?" he asked. The most carefully gaurded secret of the general was that he was married and had a very large family. He had been ordered to keep it a secret from everyone, including Diae by her father. He'd been ordered to marry because the King could not force Thawheneb and his daughter together due to Thawheneb's heritage, and the King had wanted to ensude that oe of Thawheneb's line would always live to be called on by the Royals, should the King decide to reveal that to his daughter. "I ate your daughter." Teguyt said. "To be more precise I raped her, she gave birht to my child, then I ate her for dinner. Her flesh tasted good for a Drow." Thawheneb barely managed to stop himself from ending the Dragonic-Elf's life. "Don't show your face to me again after the battle or I will kill you soak your body in pigs watse and cut you into little pieces and put it in pig feed." Thawheneb said. "Understood?" "Yes, understood Thawheneb." Teguyt said, flying into the skies to prepare his troops, leaving Thawheneb shaking with anger as he sheathed his sword.

Havin pulled back in time hence the Drow's blade only left a shallow slhs against his chest. Wincing briefly he lunged back forward and noticed the Crystal Blade was still on the table where he left it the night before. He figured William must have the other artifacts with him. If the Drow had possession of hte phoenix talismans and the Heir there would be absolutely nothing stopping them from destroying or claiming the Hjary legacy. With a trembling wrist Havin raised his crossbow loaded and aimed at the human boy still keeping his sword in position. "Okay you vermin" he said to the Demith with a slight quiver in his voice, "Hand me any jewelry the boy may be wearing and I'll step out of your way. But if you choose not to I kill him. And I know the fate of a Drow hwo returns from a hostage mission empty handed." ***** "Don't start?!" Arnond shouted in rage, "Don't start!? I may have said I'm going to let you make your own decisions but this is just ridiculous! What in the name of Hjary makes you think that this Drowess is any different than the rest of her vermin Kin?! Did you even consider the possibility that she herself summoned that med?! Use your common sense for just once Gerju!" The old man couldn't even stand to see a Dark Elf in his dimension and turned away grumbling and created a portal. "I'm going back to find Havin. And when I return that vermin had better be out of this place." Sycthe in hand he stepped through the portal and into a large street somewhere in Griswah. Back in the hall Ke'vra stirred as she regained consciousness but still feeling drowsy and feverish. Lids half-closed she glanced around at the hall and the human. "Wha...where am I? Who are you?" ***** Diae sat at the head of the troops waiting for Thawheneb to order the advance to Griswah. She pulled her hood furthur forward as the sun rose higher in the sky and suddenly felt her mental barrier being torn down again. There was no mistaking the sender of the message that followed. "It would seem a resummoned soul like mine can't return to the realm of spirits until my life's work is complete. AllI can think of was my goal to eliminate the seven other rulers of Kretog from my time and the only that still lives is the Surface scum's king Quixon.. Kill him upon my grave Diae and I can pass on finalyl from this place and continue my pursuit for divinity. But if you fail me I'll be mre than willing to posses your body and impliment self-torture upon it until the task is complete." "Threats are not necessary Father." The Queen replied grimly to the spectre's message. " I am still under your curse of obidience. Irregardless it would still be my pleasure to slay Quixon in your honor..."

Demith laughed at Havin. "Forget it." he said, looking at the crossbow. He smirked evilly as the bow burst into flame. "You will not threaten me Surface Scum." "Deltay It'lo'pt." he said and a portal opened up behind him. He grabbed the Crystal Sword from the table and picked up young Hjary. "Your kin will suffer Queen Diae's purification of your kind." He sbegan to step through the portal as youn Hjary began to resist. "Havin stop him!" the young boy shouted. "Kill hi-" his words were cut off as Demith stepped through the portal. On the other side Demith's second form features vanished as he appeared in the sinlight before the Queen. "I have brought you the human as you ordered my Queen." he said, keeping the pain from appearing in direct sunlight out of his voice. Thawheneb looked at his apprentice as he was about to give the order for the troops to move forward. He nodded in approval. Most Drow would have regarded appearing in the daylight as the most humiliating action someone could preform, especially with their hood down. Demith, on the other hand, would do whatever was nessecary for him to accomplish his objective. * * * Jama sighed as he walked through the streets of Griswah towards the gate to the city to offer his help to Theningwanur, a long time friend of the Roalds, and one of only a few living Elves to have known William Hjary the Great. Long had the Roalds known that Thenin would play some important part in the end, Jama had even theorized that he would play a hand in returning the Heir to the throne of Kretog. He still believed that, even if most of his Kin did not. He saw Theningwanur and walked up to him instead of announcing his presence. "General." Jama said. Theningwanur looked at Jama and nodded, "You may fight with us if you wish, but I warn you, for the sake of Arnond, that you may die this day. The Drow far out number us and they will come in wave after wave, sacrificing themselves in the hope of killing us, which they may just do." He looked at Jama again. "Are you sure you want to fight with us?" he asked. Jama thought for a moment. "Better to die among friends and take as many Drow with you as possible than to die and watch them perish." he said. "Has the King fled?" Theningwanur shook his head. "He has sent his wife and children away but he had stayed to over see our victory." he sighed. "If the capital falls and they take the palace they will cut him down as if he were mere vermin." "I will take up a position on the wall General." Jama said. "Maybe we can cause the Drow some amount of the pain that they have caused my people through slavery." Without another word he took up his position behind the wall. Theningwanur watched him go. Perhaps he will not die, he thought, the Roalds always seem to accomplish the impossible.* * * Gerju looked at Ke'vra. "Relax," he said, "it's Gerju." he continued to heal her. "You are in the domain of the Roalds." he added, most of his concentration was on healing her now and preventing her death, despite his father's hatred of the Drow. A hatred that they justly deserved and one that he shared in most cases. But now was not the time, especially since the med indicated that another Drow was in the city. Another factor was that no Drow was stupid enough to summon a med and have it attack him or herself.
