Watching the wizards, Holly was feeling more than a little nervous. She had seen a couple of warlocks get mad at each other, and nobody had wanted to get caught in the crossfire. "Foaly! Where is that shuttle?"
"We're right here," a familiar voice replied. Not Foaly. Captain Trouble Kelp."Are you sure about this, Holly? The place is crawling with Mud Men."
"I'm sure! Just get over here!" she shouted. "Or do you want to wait and see what happens when a couple of powerful warlocks get mad at each other?" She used the word "warlock" rather than "wizard" simply because Trouble was more used to it.
"All right, all right," Trouble said, and minutes later a sleek silver shuttle was landing. Holly was impressed, despite herself. This was a state-of-the-art craft.
"Get in!" Holly shouted to the others. "We can get to the island this way, fast!"
Artemis hastened over, as Butler shielded him from behind. Holly wasn't the only one who was worried about what Voldemort might do.

"This is a very remarkable craft," said Violet, feeling the exterior of the shuttle. "I must speak to the creator of this wonderful vehicle and ask - "
"No time for that now," said Klaus hurriedly, grabbing his sister by the arm and pulling her inside with him. But as they entered the shuttle, both Baudelaire siblings gasped in awe at the interior as they followed Holly.

Harry and Voldemort still were fighting each other, throwing different spells at one another. "Don't leave without me!" Harry shouted.

"Stop that!" Holly snapped at Trouble, who was about to take off, and held the door open. "Hurry, we don't have much time!"

Harry barely managed to knock Voldemort off his feet. He used the delay to run aboard the aircraft. He slammed the door shut just in time as Voldemort cast Avada Kedavra, which didn't penetrate the door. "Get this thing off the ground!" Harry shouted.

Kyp jumped through the wall of the transport and landed in it, looking around appreciatively. "So technology is good for something," she murmured.

"Take off! Now!" screeched Holly. Trouble complied, a little too quickly, knocking Holly off her feet. She struggled upright, strapping herself safely into a seat.

Violet and Klaus huddled together, shuddering slightly as the shuttle began to take off. Neither of them said anything at first until the Baudelaire sister whispered,
"Wow. This thing can sure fly. Perhaps I can learn how to operate one of these?"

Harry managed to get into his own seat and strap himself in as the transport took off.
Voldemort watched from below with clenched teeth as the aircraft sailed into the sky. He took control of the Dementor again and ordered it to track the shuttle down and give everyone onboard a kiss.

Opal ground her teeth in fury as she watched the shuttle fly away. She knew it was going too fast to follow on foot, so instead she decided to keep a close watch on Voldemort, as she suspected he would also want to follow them.

Voldmort trusted the Dementor to catch the shuttle, so he instead looked around him. "I know you're here somewhere," he said. "Come out if you want to keep your soul intact; I believe I can find another Dementor somewhere. They come by the numbers in Askabahn, you know."

"Azkaban, eh?"
Count Olaf was standing right behind Voldemort. He grinned, showing his yellow teeth, and crossed his arms, staring right at the Dark wizard.
"Perhaps I can be of help. I would like to slit the throats of those two Baudelaire orphans and snatch their fortune away. Seeing as there are more children onboard, I see more fortunes to take. Especially the Fowl fortune."

Opal was smarter than to move. This Mud Man was apparently smarter than most, but no Mud Man however smart could outsmart a pixie. Particularly a certain pixie by the name of Opal Koboi. (She preferred to ignore the times that she actually had been outsmarted by Artemis.)
Hearing Olaf say the word "fortune," the pixie's interested was immediately peaked. Although the Koboi family had been very wealthy, her funds were depleted when she was arrested. And Opal preferred illegal ventures to legal ones. It was easier.

"I don't need help from a pitiful muggle," said Voldemort. He considered for a moment. "But I'll allow you to tag along if you wish, as long as you do what you're told." This muggle could be used as a good diversion... Or bargainning chip, Voldemort thought.

Count Olaf raised an eyebrow and surveyed the pixie and the wizard. "Yes, I shall tag along with you two. Together, we can take the fortunes of those pitiful little idiots." But at the back of his mind, he added, We'll TAKE them together, all right, but who said I was going to SHARE with you? The Potter fortune, the Fowl fortune...I can rope these two into my schemes and make them do my bidding.
