Seems like there should be a lot of prayer, and well, hopefully you have room for another one.
As I said in the Banter Board, a church floor collapsed during a concert, and in it went some (if not most) of my friends from church. No one was killed, thank the Lord, but they are still injured. If you could pray for them to heal well, I know they would appreciate it.

Okay, so I have a great relationship with St. Anthony. Which is good, because I lose a lot of things. And recently, I discovered I had lost... my class ring. D: That is bad bad bad. TT____TT; So I ask St. Anthony, "Please intercede on my behalf and help me find my ring. Please. And thank you for listening to my prayer. Thanks in advance even if I don't find it. Also thanks for all the past times you have interceded for me." (I always talk with him like that.) So, lo and behold, I find... TWO RINGS that I have been wondering where they went. One slight problem. NEITHER are my class ring! x_____x; So I clarified my request, and I got one of two responses back. (I'm not sure which one it is yet...) Either I got an "Sorry, but this time, no. There are other things involved in this one." or "It's in your locker, silly. You won't find it in your room. " I don't know which one it is yet, but either way... PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE pray for me so that somehow it is found. >: I don't wanna have to go onto their six year warranty thing and get a replacement ring. I want the one I got with my classmates. x____x Thank you for your time listening to my long explaination. D: UPDATE: It was not in my locker. ._____.;

Thanks Birdy and Sarah ^^ Birdy: I'm so glad your grandmother's okay, Birdy. I'm certain things will turn out okay with your family, too, Sarah. As for my cat, my parents told me he can't have another surgery. I'm not sure what's going to happen to him now though. I'm pretty confused. I guess all I do is pray that the tumour will just go away. You're very welcome. And thank-you. ^_^ *hugs* And I'll definitely keep praying. *hugs Birdy* I'm glad your grandma is doing well. *hugs back* Thank-you, Crystal. ^_^ As for an update with my grandma, she's doing well. She had a doctor's appointment last Thursday to check the stitches and for some Psychical Therapy, I think. She's going again for. P.T. this coming Thursday, I think. But she is doing well. Although sometimes a bit frustrated that she can't do what she normally does since she can really only use one hand. And Kat, Nova, and Torkie - I'll be praying. I've added everyone here to my prayer journal and will keep praying for y'all. ^_^

There is one thing I'd like to mention regarding the requests that have been made for healing-related prayers. One thing I've noticed is that people tend to pray for God to heal them or others, and I don't think that's Biblically accurate. Jesus already healed us on the cross- what we need to do is claim His promises and receive His healing, maybe something along the lines of "I believe Your promises and I have faith that I am healed, and I pray for this healing to manifest in Your chosen time or way". (It's 12:25 at night so this is probably not making much sense- would anybody with knowledge on the subject please help me by clarifying or elaborating?)

There's nothing wrong with asking others to pray for healing. It's not that the person has a lack of faith, it's more of a show of support from everyone. In the book of James, Paul wrote: " Is there any sick among you? Let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him in the name of the Lord: And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him. Confess your faults to one another, and pray for one another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much." (James 5:14-16 KJV) ..We are encouraged to pray for one another because it brings us closer as Christians; after all, it can be very comforting to know that someone else is praying for you.

*Runs in singing* GUYS! GUYS! GUYS! *Holds up right hand, and a glitter of green is visible* IT WAS FOUND! 8D It wasn't in my room. It wasn't in my bathroom. It wasn't at school in my locker. It wasn't by the computer downsatirs. It wasn't by the computer upstairs. It wasn't in any of my pockets. It was in a corner near the bottom of the stairs, apparently hidden by our long carpet. My mom found it this morning at around 11:20 AM. (A friend came over at 11:30 and stayed until 5:30, so I couldn't get on and tell you) We were both like 0_____0? "How did this get here?" I still remember that the last time I saw my class ring, it was on the counter in my bathroom. But I asked St. Anthony to ask that it be returned to me. And it was. 8D I'm so happy... Thank you for your prayers, guys! ;D

Wish I'd found this thread sooner I'd love to join up. I've been Christian since I was about nine-ish, and yet I've been procrastinating reading the bible all the way through from beginning to end ever since Just started some time ago. It's so wacky and wonderful, and I'm only up to book 4, Numbers. Don't anyone ever say that God doesn't have a sense of humour - why else would he have a talking donkey warn Balaam about the great big sword-waving angel in his path

And it's alright, I tend to jump around the Bible a lot instead of reading it from start to finish. But you are right about God having a sense of humour, and He's a 'shipper to boot. Welcome to the club.
