Would you please remember my grandma in your prayers?
Apparently she fell and broke her wrist sometime Tuesday. She hadn't told us what had happened, and so we ended up finding out about it Wednesday night. My grandma wouldn't let my mom take her to the ER that night, so today my mom and sister took her there. The sent her to another hospital in the area, and as it turns out, she will need surgery. The surgery is scheduled for I think it's around 1:00 PM tomorrow (Friday the 18th). They'll probably have to put her under for the surgery, and my grandma's pretty worried about that, as is my mom. And please remember my mom in your players, as she's pretty stressed about this.
Thanks.
And Sarah - I'll be praying.

Hi ^^ I'd like to join please.
My cat has developed a tumor from a vaccine shot and he's had to go into surgery twice already. He's limping now and the tumor's coming back for a third time. He's been a part of my family for nine years now and I don't want anything to happen to him since he still has quite a few years ahead of him. I hate to see him come home from the vet all stitched up and half bald. It really pains me to see him go up and down the stairs too without his usual enthusiasm. He kind of stays in my room 24/7 now. He goes down occasionally to eat but I'm afraid he's not eating enough.
Thanks.
I'll be praying for you both, Sarah and Birdy.

Thanks to everyone who will be praying for my family. Birdy and Soul, I'll be praying for you guys, too- it's probably a little late for me to be praying about the surgery, but I'll pray for the recovery process. Speaking of which, how's your grandmother doing?

Speaking of which, how's your grandmother doing? You're welcome. And thanks to everyone who's praying for my grandma. *hugs* And my grandma is doing fine. - thanks for asking. She's home now, got to come home the same day of the surgery. Turns out she had the surgery at 10:30AM that morning even though she was scheduled for 1:30 PM. The bone that was broken (or it might've been just fractured, can't remember for sure) was the on on the thumb side of her arm/wrist. But it was her left wrist that she hurt, and she is right-handed, so it's good it wasn't her right wrist because things would be even harder. My mom's been helping her with as many thing as my grandma will let her. But as I mentioned earlier, she's home now and doing well. Except for some pain, of course. But she does have some medication for that. And thanks again everyone for your prayers. And Soul - I'll be sure to pray for your cat.

Thanks Birdy and Sarah ^^
Birdy: I'm so glad your grandmother's okay, Birdy.
I'm certain things will turn out okay with your family, too, Sarah.
As for my cat, my parents told me he can't have another surgery. I'm not sure what's going to happen to him now though. I'm pretty confused. I guess all I do is pray that the tumour will just go away.

Please pray that I will get some croissants tonight. I think the only way I can get them is if God magics me up some. ): It is not looking good.
...
I'm just joking around, of course. I hope all of your prayers are answered. <3

Was anyone offended by what I said? If they were, I apologize and I assure you I meant no harm by that comment. I plainly said that it was a joke and that I hoped everyone's prayers were answered. Yes, the comment was silly, but I don't see it as disrespectful. Did I say anything bad about Christians or their beliefs anywhere in that? Honestly, Stal. It seems like you've been nitpicking every little thing I say lately.

It seems like you've been nitpicking every little thing I say lately. If you feel that way, talk with me about it in PM. Otherwise, bringing it up here (or anywhere on the forum) isn't the place for it. Secondly, it was uncalled for, joke or not as I said. It was making light of something and comes across as rude and condescending in itself. You may've wanted everyone's prayers to be answered, but there was no need to either lessen the importance of the situations or even the concept of prayer as you did. It, in essence, made fun of the entire concept of prayer/praying, etc. It's not a topic Christians treat too lightly, really, and when prayers are asked for, it's usually in a serious and sober-minded nature... If you don't see how it was disrespectful, I can't show it to you any more than I just tried to explain. It'd be something that either you understand or don't, and would likely have to be in a Christian mindset to see how disrespectful it does come off. If you'd like to discuss this further, let's take it to PMs and not clutter up the thread.

[shadow=purple,left,300]First off, I shall remember you all - as in, every last one of you on this forum, and not just those asking for prayers - well, in my thoughts and prayers.
Please remember me as well. I'm going to have my exam tomorrow, and will have one per week till the 14th of May. I want to pass Chemistry 16 now so I don't have to take it next year, and I believe it was the Lord's will that I take it this summer.
Thank you. ^_^[/shadow]

I'll be sending luck and confidence your way Kalianne [shadow=purple,left,300]Thank you...and it's just Kat. XD Anyway, to everyone, thank you for the prayers. I recently received my first exam back and I got 81.7%. The Lord has blessed me so. I have two more to go, and I have to pass them all and get a 2 (on a scale of 1-5, 1 being the highest) for my pre-final grade in order to be exempted from the final exam. I thank you all for your continuing support. [/shadow]
