Some Medieval/Fantasy RP-ish...thing...sorta.

((Since my last RP was fairly clichéed and bland and is now...dead...I

decided to create another one. Sooo...yeah. I'm not going to have as

many characters as last time, don't worry.

The rules are simple: no god-moding, no powerplaying or anything of the like. I'd be surprised to find anyone breaking these rules at the NTWF, though.

I have...8 characters. Yes, I know, 8 is a big number. Well, I have 8 of them thought up, at least. I'll use only half of them a lot, and if someone wants to take control of the other four at one point, I'm fine with it, just as long as they ask AFTER I say it's alright to do so, which might take a while... Anyway, here are the profiles:

Full Name: Gwendolyn of Tetsika

Nickname(s): Gwen

Age: 17

Gender: Female

Race: Human

Appearance: Silvery-blond hair that falls to her hips, pale skin and clear blue eyes. Wears a simple white cotton dress.

Bio: Noble-born, has lived in a manor in the village of Tetsika all her life.

Skills: Like all nobles, has been taught how to ride and use a longbow. She also knows how to sew and cook(though I'm pretty sure that won't be too useful).


Name: Matt (the rest is unknown)

Nickname(s): None

Age: 18

Gender: Male

Race: Human

Appearance: Tall and skinny, has short, light brown hair and clear blue eyes. His skin is tan. Wears a cream-colored shirt and brown breeches. Carries a longsword and black opal with him wherever he goes.

Bio: Unknown.(wow, so original )

Abilities: Knows how to use his sword well and a bit of magic.


Name: Akirii (Ah-KEE-ree)

Nickname(s): Rii, Kiki(only by a few people), Aki

Age: 13

Gender: Female

Race: Human

Appearance: Most of her hair has fallen out and is replaced by bandages wrapped around her head. The very few locks of hair she has left are white-blond. Her eyes are pale grey and her skin is olive. She wears a grey blouse and light blue skirt, both in tatters.

Bio: Unknown again.(expect a lot of these)

Abilities: None, basically. She's frail and weak.


Name: William of Arbor Bay.

Nickname(s): Will

Age: 15

Gender: Male

Race: Human

Appearance: Coal-black hair, light grey eyes and brown skin. Wears a cloak, shirt and breeches, all three articles of clothing brown.

Bio: He's been at sea for most of his short life with his father.

Abilities: Knows how to take care of a ship and how to handle a few weapons, namely the shortsword and dagger.


Name: Yra (EYE-rah)

Nickname(s): None.

Age: 16

Gender: Female

Race: Human

Appearance: Red/orange hair tied back in a high ponytail, dark brown eyes, tan skin. She wears a sort of green tunic that ends at the knee level with long, baggy sleeves. Also has a brown belt, indigo pants and a flame-shaped amulet around her neck.

Bio: Has started studying at the Rador Academy(some magic school) at age 14, but is currently on the verge of getting expulsed due to failing most of her end-of-term examinations.

Abilities: Knows a bit about magic, but mostly fire magic.


Name: Guo (GOO-oh)

Nickname(s): None.

Age: 17

Gender: Male

Race: Elf

Appearance: Short, unruly red hair, dark brown eyes and tan skin. Carries a wooden staff with two gold rings at the top end and wears crimson-colored pants, an orange sleeveless vest.

Bio: Unknown.

Abilities: Knows how to use his staff well and how to heal wounds, but without magic(using herbs and bandages and stuff).


Name: Tyari(Tah-YA-ri)

Nickname(s): Ty

Age: 15

Gender: Female

Race: Elf

Appearance: Dark brown hair kept in a loose horsetail, tan skin and bright green eyes. Dresses of a kirtle of the same color as her eyes and a brown wool shawl.

Bio: Lives, and has all her life, with her brother, Orik, in the forest bording Tetsika.

Abilities: Has wild magic, meaning she can speak to animals, heal them and shapeshift.

Age: 12

Gender: Male

Race: Elf

Appearance: Short, dark brown hair, bright green eyes and tan skin. Wears a green tunic and brown breeches.

Bio: Same as his sister, Tyari.

Abilities: Also has wild magic, but only with horses.))

It had been 5 days since Gwen had last gone outside. She was stuck in

bed, her head aching along with every muscle in her body. She tried to sit up, but her stiff body seemed to have decided against it. She sighed and closed her eyes, her head spinning.

A sound of yelling made her open them again.

"Hey! Get back here!" it was Serge, her man-at-arms.

The door opened, a young man stumbling into the room. He ran to her bed and smiled.

"You are it. You are my flight-sister." he announced.

"Flight--what?" she asked, puzzled. She didn't notice that the dizziness had stopped.

"No time to explain." he helped her up and pulled her out of the stone manor, out into the open.

The feeling of cool spring air on her face made her grin. Then she realized that the throbbing in her skull had stopped. Her muscles had also stopped aching. She was about to ask him how he did it, but he motionned her to follow him, and she did so with a sigh.

Finally, when he stopped, they were in a wide, treeless plain, Sasri forest(the forest near Tetsika) about 100 meters away. The boy sighed and sat down.

Gwen was puzzled. "So...first you call me your sister, manage to get me up on my feet when it's been five DAYS I haven't been able to walk, then you go and get me here for no apparent reason. What next?"

The boy laughed. "Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Matt." he got back up. "Pleased to meet you, Lady Gwendolyn, I--"

"Gwen. Please. Call me Gwen." she interrupted.

"Pleased to meet you, Lady Gwen." he said. "About why I brought you here, it's quite a long story...You see, my father has an impressive amount of texts in his library and--"

"What? So you're going to say you came here just because my name comes up in a BOOK?!" she interrupted again.

He sighed. "No. Far, far from that. It is true your family name is in many books, but it is not why I came."

"Then WHY?!" asked Gwen.

Akirii sighed and took one more look around the area to make sure no one was around. She sighed. There were many trees and bushes, but no one within her sight. She knelt down by the river and gently took the bandages off her head and started washing the bleeding wounds on it. That done, she took out some new bandages out of her pocket and started wrapping her head with it, and from the way she did it, she knew what she was doing.

Name: Laewyn (LAY-win)
Age: Unknown, but looks to be around 20.
Gender: Female
Race: Patryn (I kind of took this straight out of the Death Gate series, by Margaret Weis and Tracy Hickman, just a little modified...)
Special Abilities: Patryns are spell-casters and enchanters. They use their hands, and their minds, to draw runes. Runes can be drawn on things as enchantments, or in the air as spells - though weaker than a spell by a mage. One of the best strategies for them is to draw runes on daggers, and use the magically enhanced weapons.
Bio: Laewyn escaped the Labrynth (where the ancient race of the Patryns were locked in, millions of years ago (she was born inside the Labrynth)). Sent by the Lord of the Nexus - the land of the Patryns after having escaped the Labrynth - to investigate the other planets (Long story short: Patryns and the Sartan were arch enemies. The Sartan locked the Patryns in the Labrynth, and re sculpted the worlds.) for signs of the Sartan, or for knowledge of them. Her ultimate mission is to stir up trouble so her Lord can come in and take rule of the planets as the Patryns should have, had the Sartan not stepped in.
Physical Appearance: A little shorter than average height, and fairly skinny, but extremely fit. Brown eyes, and tanned skin. Long hair, dark brown except for the tips, which are white. A long sleeved black shirt, and black pants. Bandages covering her hands and wrists and up her arms, except for her finger tips. Is always accompanied by a brown and white dog, who seems to have no magical abilities whatsoever, and doesn't really even have a name, just is very friendly and seems to be good company.
Personality: Quiet and very calm, not saying much, but what she does say is quite meaningful. Says little, hears everyting. Keeps to herself and her dog, but is constantly aware of what is going on around her, with very quick reflexes. The dog, on the other hand, is incredibly friendly, and tends to make friends easily. Mistrusts strangers, and is deathly loyal to its master.

Laewyn looked around a clearing. It seemed she was alone by a river. She regarded the place without interest; this place had no people in it anywhere, and her lord wanted her to stir up trouble. This wasn't the place to find it. She sighed, and continued walking along the river. Suddenly, Dog started barking, and ran down the grass for a couple of hundred meters. Laewyn assumed Dog was just chasing a squirrel or whatever other creatures might be inhabiting this world. She quickly followed Dog down the river, and eventually found herself and the Dog near a young girl. "Sorry, he's a little friendly..."

Species: Human

Appearence: tall and stocky he has brown eyes and jet black hair. He wears a red T-shirt and baggy blue jeans.

Personality:More of the quiet type (in general) Can be a bit agressive at times. But in the end incredibly loyal.

Weapons: Two Two handed swords. And some daggers))



Chris stumbles into the stone manor drunk. (Whee! Booze!)) He sways then passes out just inside the doorway.

Serge, who was now searching for Gwen, noticed Chris. "Shame on you, sir! How dare you barge into the Baron of Tetsika's manor like this?" he said, not caring wether or not the man was drunk or not.

"It's a long story." replied Matt.

"You already TOLD me that." snapped Gwen.

"Sorry then." he said, his voice bitter. "Anyway. I was reading through this record of ancient legends and beliefs..."

"And?" asked Gwen, starting to get ticked off.

"Well, I found this particular legend, about how the Gods placed blessings upon certain families, how they would become gifted with a powerful element if they united with the other gifted of that element." He didn't seem to care if she was annoyed or not.

Gwen sighed. "Let me guess; there was a written description of you and I, and then you thought I was the one, so you traveled all the way from your home town to here, so we could take the most out of our powers, which are probably wind-related." her tone was sarcastic.

"Exactly." he replied, fully honest.

Rii scratched the dog behind his ears. "It's okay..." she told his owner softly, though her eyes were on the dog. "What's his name?"

Chris is still outcold on the floor.

((Ooh...well...they're like...outa town and stuff...so unless you think Serge would drag Chris all over Tetsiki, I don't think that'd be possible. Meh, he'll still drag him outside, though. Maybe you can make him be...well...conscious again...?

*looks at the different parts of Chris's brain scattered on the floor* Someone will have to clean this up...not me....))

Serge frowned, then grabbed the man's arm firmly and dragged him outside the manor's gate. He closed the gate shut and locked it, to make sure he wouldn't get in again.

Gwen sighed. "You actually BELIEVE those things?!" she exclaimed. "If it's so, how come I've survived 17 YEARS without you coming?"

Matt sighed. "That amulet you used to wear. The one your grandmother gave to you. It's been keeping you alive. You lost it a bit less than a week ago. That's why you've been in bed since then."

Gwen stared at him, wordless.

[Chris]

*one hour later* Chris slowly rolls over then throws up. "Uggghhh...." He stands up and grabs the iron gate for support.



((*brain floats up and drops on Misslynx* ))

((Ewwww....Getitoff getitoff getitoff! *shakes head and shoulders really fast, trying to get it off herself*

*brain falls off* Great...now I'm gonna have to wash my hair again...*glares at Chris*))

"How do you know all this?" she asked finally.

"Because I found this in Sasri forest, on my way here." he replied, taking a delicate pendant out of his pocket.

Gwen gasped. "That's...that's impossible! I haven't gone to Sasri forest since I was 6!" she exclaimed.

Matt sighed. "Might be someone took it, you know. Pickpockets." he said.
