Warning - if you have not read the third book yet, this will contain spoilers. So beware.
Also, if you have not read any of the books, I'll give you an explanation.
The young Whiskered Screech Owl perched in a tree in The Beaks, looking out across Hoolemere. Soon she would arrive at the Great Ga'hoole Tree in its center and meet owls who were renowned in many of the owl kingdoms, including the Northern Kingdoms, her homeland. Bubo, the skilled blacksmith, Madame Plonk, the beautiful singer, Boron and Barran, the revered leaders....
And Ezylryb, whom she knew very well indeed...
Katrei watched the sunrise, and then fluttered back into the hollow she had found to stay in. Taking one more look at the bright morning sun, she nestled her head under her wing and waited for sleep to overtake her.
