Mercenaries: Guild Wars 2 Planning

So, considering the recent discussions about Guild Wars 2... I thought it was high time we start talking about our own participation plans. I'd love for the mercenary guild to have a role in the new war - it was the first one that gave me the idea in the first place. ^_^

The most obvious idea, of course, is that of us being soldiers for hire working for various other guilds under contract. Which was the original intent anyway. And it could end up really interesting if we attempt to be a "neutral" party, with our loyalties to the highest bidder... considering all the messy intrigue that goes on between the guilds and their members

Of course, it'll be easier for us to discuss plot points when a plot's actually been settled upon... which brings up something else. With the new open-board system for guilds, anyone could come in and see what we're doing. Spacefleet is using code and we could do that too if everyone agrees on it... I've talked about it with Rain and we have some pretty awesome ones available for use. >w<

So! Discuss! Maybe we could inject some life into this guild by getting involved in GW2. =D

I think that's a great idea! I don't mind a code, as long as it's not too complicated. And I think being a nuetral party would be fine.

NOT PIG LATIN. DDD: Everyone knows pig latin, and thus it would be waaay too easy for people to crack.

But if you guys have a spiffy code, I'd love to hear it. (through PM of course)

Besides, if we're gonna decide on a code, it shouldn't be out here where everyone can see it XD;; Doesn't matter much yet, but of course once Guild Wars starts up we'll need to be confidential.

I actually have an idea for a code that my friends and I once used for a while... but Spacefleet adopted its code before I could so much as suggest it, so they don't even know about it.

Sort of. It was a little hard, but I got the basic idea of it. So, not quite cracked it. I still don't know what you guys wrote. I thought that would be a little rude.

Umm... who's all joining for this guild? Just out of curiousity.
