Mkay, since people are joining and have no clue what's going on, here's a bit (um, it ended up more than a bit, my bad!) about the current situation. This post also serves as a quick summary of the whole RP. I'm working on a full summary, but I'm on page 4 of the RP at the moment so it's going to take a while

The stuff below is good for page 31 on
Having returned from a mission to rescue Spacefleet hostages who were going to be sold into bondage (several of whom become members of Spacefleet), our heroes are ready for a good night's sleep, after some snacks and discussion at the Cantina, Spacefleet's tavern-cafe thing. Unfortunately, this is not to be, as soon after their arrival an announcement goes off about a mysterious object heading towards the 'Fleet. The object turns out to be a cryogenic pod containing a young cyborg by the name of Ethan.
After meeting Ethan (who doesn't know who he was, where he came from, or anything else about his past) and firing lots of questions at him, everyone finally gets a good night's sleep and the next morning, they head down to the cafeteria for breakfast. Idle chitchat and much speculation on Ethan's past proceeds, while Ice, Bacon, and Clint Thunder discuss a dangerous secret mission involving explosives. Bacon and Ice decide to go ahead and join the mission.
A commander asks Ethan to go with him to a training room to make sure he can protect himself; Ethan proves to be quite capable and becomes a member of Spacefleet (combat class). While he's away, the nurse who has been accompanying him reveals to the others (Ice, Zari, Amneiger, Amaru, Bacon, Clint Thunder) that blood tests reveal traces of an amnesia drug, which explains why he doesn't remember much. Some more speculation, Ethan returns, and Ice lets slip mention of the mission. The others' interest is piqued (although Amneiger is rather reluctant to stop trying to hunt down Ethan's past) and they ask some questions. Info about the mission is unknown beyond it being dangerous and involving explosives. Clint had told Ice and Bacon to meet him at the 'Fleet hangar in an hour and three quarters or so, to get more information about and embark on the mission. (We're still in the cafeteria, I'm guessing the time is 9:30 am or so)
