D:
I can't exactly order them around. They follow orders only if they want to. If I can't convince them, I bribe them.

I like how everyone seems to think that just because Keng is a werewolf she'll be hard to take down. While it's true she's hard to kill, and is a pretty skilled fighter, I've noticed that she growing a long history of loosing consciousness. I mean she was out cold for a large portion of guild wars (lost consciousness at least 3 times... in a day, oh my!), was drugged/shocked in the last skirmish, and in the pirate RP I'm planning to get her knocked out while on night watch. I planned that before noticing the developing pattern. But hey, who knows, maybe with a little luck she'll actually stay awake through all of this one XD.
At this point though, it's just become part of her character, and I do it more well.. consciously.

Actually, note that Clint assumed that she'd be hard to kill before he knew she was a werewolf. Mostly he just knew she was a commando, and naturally assumes that all commandos are exactly like him.

Because in real submarines, running around tends to make noise that reverberates through the decks and out into the ocean where other submarines can hear it.

Except in this case the other 'submarines' wouldn't be able to hear it, since there's no air or anything to carry sound in space. This will make things interesting though. ...At least if the Latekan can tell the difference between the Spacefleeters' steps and his pals'. Although the sudden appearance of steps in a normally-empty area would be suspicious, so never mind.

We'll just say that despite their size, Laketans are light on their feet.

Ahh, true, true. Well, time will soon tell Aren't you a Marine though? Actually, technically Keng is still a merc in the RP. I've been promoted but she hasn't quite been yet. I'll throw it in after this mission But there actually aren't many combat class people in there, not including Ringo who just sorta appeared out of nowhere with a damaged memory. Not the sort of person you want to give a "push this button to blow stuff up" device to. One would worry that there might be a relapse in that amnesia and we'd get Deedee (from Dexter's Lab) Syndrome. IOW, "What does this button do?" And Urchin was a late comer, which just left Keng and Amaru.

I'm confused, are we in the laketan ship yet? Or still trying to get in?

We're in ... What does depressurizing do? Take out all the air?

I'm confused, are we in the laketan ship yet? Or still trying to get in? I think a little bit of both. I posted that Clint stayed behind to make sure they all got on the Laketan ship, and then my next post has him on the ship, so that could be an oversight on my part, or just me trying to speed things up. I won't tell you which.
