*looks at everyone setting their weapons to this and that setting*
I think I prefer my gun, only has 2 settings, 1. Safety, 2. Point and shoot. A monkey that HASN'T had it's intelligence genetically, or in any other way, enhanced could do it! Though.. I suppose there is the chance that the monkey would shoot itself, which is what the safety switch is for.

Or shoot you.
But, addressing the rest of your post, Clint's x-957 is his weapon of choice because of it's adaptability. It's also sort of a spoof on the main weapon in Star Wars Republic Commando(best game ever), which is "highly adaptable and efficient" with three modes: automatic, sniper and anti-armor. Mine has twenty or more.

Ienalle can shift into more than a cat and a human. Her registered forms number around 5,000, and even then she can modify anatomy and things like that. Ienalle, as a Human or humanoid, has three settings- Oblivious Goofball (hardly ever, but very likely to get hurt, then go to setting three and claw your eyes out.), Kick-in-the-shins-and-ankle-biting, and Attack-you-with-sharp-object-bounceoff-walls-and-borrow-Aikrans-gun. As a Clone, she has Big Sister, Total Basketcase, or Fluffy Nightmare. <Ienalle>=3> I've also done a hasty Tektek of Ienalles appearance. I have another drawing in the works, but this'll do.

So, in theory, she could change from female to male/vice versa? >_> Kinda creepy. Or do you mean she could turn a frog form into a mammal? Okay, that's creepier. BTW, what exactly is a tektek?

She can't switch gender, but she can edit her vocal chords so she sounds like one of a different gender...

@bacon: Tektek is a site that provides mockups of Gaia (I think) characters with whatever items/appearance you want, and the cost of such an appearance.

Whenever I'm not busy, maybe Friday or Saturday, I'll post a crude diagram of the inside of the Apocalypse Nigh, the Laketan ship.

Why does the ship need its engines on, anyway? Unless it were trying to accelerate or move out of a gravity well (of a planet, sun, etc.), it wouldn't need the engines on. There isn't any resistance in space, it could travel at a constant velocity without the engines being in. And there obviously wouldn't be any need for the engines to be on if it's stationary, other than the very small bursts necessary to adjust it in its orbit around a planet or something.

The Latekans were trying to turn the engines on because their ship was stopped to wait for Hrothgar. When he didn't show, they decided to start moving again.

A few things about Laketans:
They like to kill traitors (and sometimes just people annoying them) with a weapon known as a Laketan knife. Like his snout and stature, Malz'gir's Laketan knife is larger than almost every other Laketan's.
The weapon known as the "Laketan Shredder" is named similarly to an unrelated weapon in KotOR, the "Mandalorian Ripper".
There are five known Laketan-controlled planets: Toruiin, Bruuloc, Kinea, Kovruu, and Huuji. There are military installations at Kinea and Toruiin, but it is unkown if the others have bases. There could be more Laketan planets, but these are all that are known. It is unkown if Laketans are native to all of them or if they conquered them.
Laketan ships have one major weakness during ship-to-ship battles: an inactive engine cluster. For this reason, commanders usually leave their engines on during battles.
Two minor Star Wars EU species have been made into Laketan slang phrases. One of Malz'gir's officers, the deceased Cheif Admiral Dulrik, mentioned a "Scout Squib", implying it's a vessel with a small crew. More recently, Vedrik called Malz'gir a "Hoojib", and the place name of "Huuji" was made to justify the reference.
