I wanted an officer to meet Zari and everybody in the shuttle, but I couldn't think of anything good for him to say except "Congratulations." Any ideas? Have him first yell at them for going on what seemed to be a suicide mission, then eventually have him congratulate them for rescuing everyone. |

If anyone wants to take control of Clint Thunder, the officer that meets my character, please do so. The sooner my character talks face to face with a character controlled by somebody else, the better.

XDD I only JUST realized that Hrothgar's also the name of the dwarven king from the Inheritance trilogy (Paolini, Eragon + Eldest thus far).

Then she realized there was someone else who had just landed, and turned to greet them. "Hey there! Who are you? I'm Ice, chemistry department and resident shapeshifter." (Free hook for ya, Bacon  ) I don't know exactly how, but I honestly never saw this post. If I had I would have instantly jumped into the conversation.  Oh well. By the way, my character is a "him", not a "them". Also, I just clarified to my first character that Clint Thunder (who I think I'll make a permanent secondary character) is actually a Commando, not an Officer as had been implied before. This is because when I was going to introduce my character in the middle of the battle, he was going to encounter some Commandos, one of which I happened to name Clint Thunder. When my plans changed, I kept the name. (It started out to be Chet Flash, but I thought that was a little too obvious, so I changed it) |

Fair enough, there are hierarchies in combat groups after all so I suppose he could still be called "officer" if not in the officer class.

Sorry about borrowing (and reviving) the "Nameless" character. I just didn't feel like introducing yet another character... at least not so soon. Besides, Nameless wasn't being used and is more or less expendable, from a storytelling point of view....

I hope you don't mind my unusual way of joining the RP. It has to do with the way my character's story/background/whatever-it-would-be-called works. And, for the sake of convenience, let's assume that Spacefleet has either a tractor beam built into the station, or one or more shuttles/ships with tractor beams installed. And you guys can make the announcement say whatever you want. |

Oh, by the way, I added Clint's profile to my post in the Spacefleet Profiles. It's a little in-progress-y, as I'm not quite sure how to describe what he looks like. I'll give it a shot, though.

You can rejoin the RP if you want to, it's actually pretty easy right now, you'd only have to read the what's on the current page (35) to tell what's going on at the moment. |
