((I'm only taking the Marine promotion this time around. I'll figure out the commando one later. And I'll PM strife about god moding Cyclops.))

((Okey dokey. I recieved Keng's PM, and I figured that I could use this opportunity to practice for the Guild Wars 2 RP, since my roleplaying is a bit rusty at the moment. I apologize for not being a part of this RP sooner, but other things get in the way sometimes I guess. ^^; I'll gladly use Strife and Cyclops for the ceremony. ^^
So to my understanding, Keng, Ethan, Zari, Amni, and Ice are the only people getting promotions at this point, yes?))

((Well, you are the Commander, technically you can promote anyone you want. *hint hint*))

((I'll try and space things out a little bit, in case we're able to hear from Zari soon. Hope y'all don't mind. ^^; )) Cyclops marched down the hallway, the sounds of his steps echoing into the darkness. He was always puzzled about the Commander's need to make the hallway to his office so long. There were no doors or windows on either side of the hallway, and it seemed like its only purpose was to further seperate him from the rest of Spacefleet HQ. It was only a small bother to Cyclops since his robotic suit did the walking for him, but with the amount of time it took him to walk from one end of the massive hall to the other, he couldn't help but ponder about it. When Cyclops had finally reached the end of the hall, he stood in front of a metal door. Its surface was clear enough that he could see his own reflection without problems, and the border of the door was dotted with ominous red lights, which gave his reflection a demonic look as though it were an entirely different person. The Commander's symbol was pasted in the center of the door, outlined in red lights as well. Without any warning, the lights faded and turned off, and the door sweeped open. Cyclops walked into Commander Strife's office. As usual, none of the lights were on, and the end of the room was illuminated by the starlight coming in from the giant pill-shaped window in the center. The shadowy silhouette of Strife's chair could be seen against the bright blanket of stars outside the window. The chair was very large and looked more like a throne than something used for office leisure. It was currently faced towards the window. "Commander, the ceremony is about to commence," said Cyclops as he approached the long desk in front of Strife's chair. "Officers on every floor are making their way to C Deck as I speak." Strife remained in his chair, his eyes fixed on the window. His armor shined brilliantly, and his skin looked almost completely white against the starlight. "Good," said Strife, his voice slithering out of his mouth like a serpent. "Is the station secure?" "Yes, Commander. Lockdown procedures will begin shortly. Nobody will be able to enter or leave." Strife swiveled his chair around and stood up, looking at his subcommander with a pair of blood-red eyes. His mouth curled upwards and opened into a devilish smile. "Let the ceremony begin. Follow me." Strife stepped down from his chair and marched out of the room, his black cape flowing behind him like a living shadow. Cyclops followed closely behind him, and the two of them made their way down the long hallway. The door to Strife's office slammed shut behind them. "I will make my announcement after you perform the ceremony," said the Commander, the echo of his voice making him sound even more intimidating than he already was. "Of course, Sir." "Someone is not doing their job around here, and I intend to find out who it is." * * * A voice boomed over the loudspeakers on every deck, floor, and corridor of the station. "Attention all personnel! To ensure the security of this facility, Spacefleet Headquarters will undergo Level 3 lockdown procedures for the duration of the ceremony. No personnel are allowed to leave under any circumstances. Visitation rights are temporarily repealed. Lockdown will commence in five minutes and last for approximately one hour. Thank you for your cooperation."

Keng listened to the announcement with a great lack of enthusiasm. She was after all standing right next to the speaker, and it was very loud. "For goodness sake! Why is everything here so bleeping loud!" she asked covering her ears with her hands until the announcement ended. And yes, she did actually say 'bleeping'.

"Well, isn't that great timing? I was just about to sit here for an hour anyway!" Fraze exclaimed. Though he tried to make the irony in his voice as painfully obvious as possible, he knew some of the people in the room might still miss it.

((...Oops. >> Sorry about that. No idea how that happened. ...Wait. He could see some people in the audience glance up at the speakers in surprise; apparently they hadn't been expecting this. I wonder why we're under lockdown all of a sudden.

Looking around Urchin found herself lost in the crowd, she could not see anyone that she knew or recognized , but through the crowd she saw someone that looked familiar and began to make her way towards them. Then the announcement came on, she tried as best as she could to drown out the sound but not with much luck. "arrrrg, the down side to sharp ears" she mumbled. "For goodness sake! Why is everything here so bleeping loud!"
"No kidding. It sound like a jet engine too me!" she said to herself, still trying to drown out the sound.
When the announcement ended she could still here it ringing in her ears, and she wasn't even next to the announcer or the speakers. Looking up she once again was lost in the crowd, "Give me a brake..." she said with a sigh.

Lockdown? Whats a Lockdown? Ooh shiny lights... Like a kitten following a torch glow on a wall, she follows all the flashy flashing signs pointing towards the C-Deck Ceremony Hall.. soon she becomes part of the crowd being swept into the Hall, buffeted and bumped from wall to shoulder to body to body.. and eventually ends up somewhere quite near the front of the stage.
Looking from left to right, up to down and at last up at the stage, she stares straight into the eyes of Amneiger as he watches the Audience.

((Wait, isn't Zarah still trying to deal with all her forms shifting back and forth into each other and in general looking very messy? Unless I'm wrong in supposing that that's happening because of hunger or fatigue.))

Zari rubbed her forehead and turned to watch the audience along with Amneiger. In the front row was...something. It was staring at Amneiger in a rather unsettling way, that was somehow familiar. She turned around to face the wall and tried to stop herself from having a panic attack.

In an attempt to amuse himself, Fraze stared intently at Zari and Amneiger, alternating between the two occasionally.
