[Strife]

Spacefleet is divided into seperate classes of members. Each class has its own specific duties and obligations, and you can sign up for one depending on your personal skills and abilities.

To apply for a class, simply post in this topic with an explanation of why you meet the requirements. A high-ranking officer or the mod sponsor will review it, and change your class if you meet the requirements.

All new members are assigned the 3rd rank in each class. In order to earn a promotion, just stay dedicated to the guild and it will come in time. You can only be in one class at a time, but if you switch classes, you'll keep your rank number.

Combat Class
These members are specialized forces trained especially for fighting. They are instructed in the use of a wide variety of battlefield weapons and vehicles.
To apply for this class, you must...
- Have some form of close range attack (melee weapon, fists, claws, etc)
- Have some form of long range attack (laser, fireballs, etc)
- Drop and give me twenty (yeah, yeah, I know you already did this when you entered the guild... but it builds character! =P)

1st rank - Commandos: Kengplant
2nd rank - Marines: Tirilia, Ethan
3rd rank - Mercs: Ery, R1ng0, Urchin, Fraze, Zari's clones (Salricio, Latiere, Aikran, Senali, Ienalle, Ytrisan, Aeloan, Dretne)

Officer Class
Officers are the driving force of Spacefleet... no pun intended. Their primary focus is the operation of vehicles, aircraft and spacecraft, and they can also command Combat Class members into battle. Of course, their combat abilities are limited, and because of their duties, they cannot afford to fight on the front lines.
To apply for this class, you must...
- Have a Spacefleet Driver's License (Click Here to apply for one)
- Have the charisma necessary to make decisions and work as a team
- Overcome whatever fear of heights you might have

1st rank - Commanders: Strife
2nd rank - Subcommanders: Cyclops
3rd rank - Cadets: Shino, Bacon

Research Class
Our science and technology research team contains some of the squishiest brains in the galaxy. Their duty is to mix various chemicals and compounds, and to develop weapons and gadgets for other members to use.
To apply for this class, you must...
- Have experience with either chemistry, robotics, or a related field
- Understand the concept of E=NSQ²
- Wear safety equipment at all times. We don't want our scientists asploding...

Support Class
The main duty of members in this class is to help and support others, and to generally make Spacefleet a safer and more comfortable place.
To apply for this class, you must...
- Have experience with medicine, cooking, or a related field
- Carry a medkit with you at all times
- Know how to dial Spacefleet's easy-to-remember emergency hotline: [phone] (don't forget to press the little smiley button on the communicator after every occurance of two of the same number in a row. ^_~)

Okay, since I'm the sponsor of the guild... what would I be ranked?

So far, I believe I fill out the requirements for all of the classes ('cept for the license, which no one has yet ^^; )... and I can't decide which one xD

I dunnow... I kinda see myself as a medic, since I will always try to help those in pain. But I also like to 'drive' as an officer, and I use fireballs/laser as combat weapons.

What to choose! What to chooooose! x)

Hmm... Perhaps I should make a new class that's basically all three classes combined. x3 I'll think about it, but for now, i'm trying to figure out how we would give licenses to guild members.

Qualifications: Experience with poisons and chemicals; received alchemist training from mages

E = NSQ² is the theorem which states that NSQ, multiplied by herself, would be the source of infinite energy (E). Psycho has dabbled with this theorem and has also sacrificed her arm to NSQ for the cause T_T

Psycho is a highly qualified scientist who takes all precautions during experimentation and battle by employing the skills of her former occupation as a spy.

Qualifications:
Close Combat- In possesion of two swords which will later be upgraded to more space suited models. Then there is the typical hand to hand combat, and if all else fails I've got a jaw full of teeth as a werewolf, which is a very adept form to be in for close range battles.
Long Range- I've got a blaster and Glitch, which is a high tech swiss army knife really.

Experience: Medical research, both independant and government-funded, in the field of microbiology...I am quite infatuated with cute, squishy, blobby cells. As a matter of fact, I always carry in my pcoket a set of tiny vials with an assortment of microorganisms inside... getting on airplanes is really, really hard. E=NSQ^2 is the conversion rate of energy in terms of NSQs; as measuring the energy of an NSQ is akin to dividing by zero, it is a scientific mystery; investigated properly, the potential is present to generate enough power to sustain a small planet, but research in this field is extremely hazardous. Personally, I tend to steer clear of it; I rather like my arm, kthx...
Safety Equipment: Hmm, well, my glasses are made from a nigh-unbreakable plastic compound, which is why I never wear goggles... oh, and I also have a shield! Watch this!
