Ohyes, and to Shade or Sarn or whoever else might be roleplaying as the Sorceress — I have no plans whatsoever for that little vial thing, so feel free to make it whatever you'd like, if you are so inclined. xD I just added it to maybe stir things up later on with some sort of magickry. Maybe it can explode or something.

...MSN is sounding good, yep. =D

...I totally want to rejoin this now that hectic quarter is over. If that is at all possible. Which I am kinda doubting, but you never know...I mean, it is only three pages in, but with the length of posts and such...um...yeah.
...-sigh- Possible at all?

Of course it is, Michelle. ^^ Not that much has happened yet, to be honest. There's plenty of opportunity to slip back in unnoticed, particularly since Strife's character only just showed up. And there've been lots of hints that there are more knights with us than just the ones who are posting, so you could easily say that you've been here all along. =D

Oh, good. ^^ And if there have been more hints, then that's better, Ro probably would've stayed silent most of the time anyway. I guess I can post later today, then...

The more the merrier. ^_^ I'd been wondering where you'd disappeared to, Michelle; nice to have you back.

Given that the current Mage/Steampunk RP has some (very light) ties to the knights, I'm strongly considering jumping in as Blacktail at some point just so there's a knight representative in the RP. They are, afterall, supposed to be the diplomatic watchdogs of the guildverse, eh? :3
If I do this, though, it doesn't mean that I've forgotten the Silverkeep RP, so don't worry. xD; I've been contemplating how to go about writing a short bump-post in response to Tamia's.

Someone tell me to post in our roleplay later tonight. I think I keep thinking I should and then not, and at this point there are more reasons to post than not to post. And I'd write a post now, but I don't have long until I need to leave. Soyeah.

I can't remember if it's sort of my turn to reply or not. I think I was waiting for someone. Er. Dunno. But I shall read back and check, anyway.
And also, I really want to start a Knights Guild activity of some sort. Something useless and fun like RCP that would encourage activity and community spirit and all that jazz among all us lazy knightfolk. I'm just not sure what. >.>

If you can figure something out, Tamia, that'd be awesome. <3

Okay, so, after being hit by a stray InspireBeam emanating from the Guild Meeting II thread, I have a tentative idea. Remember jousting? Were we going to do something with jousting? I think we were, but I can't for the life of me remember what our grand ideas were or if they were ever put into play at all.
So here's the idea. It's a simple, dice-based game along the lines of RCP, except here, there are only two players per round, and the winners accumulate points instead of random crap.
When you make a post, you either accept the challenge of the previous poster, or post a new challenge of your own if the previous poster has already jousted (so the post order goes challenge, acceptance, challenge, acceptance, etc. Simple simple.) You then roll three two-sided dice, each of which stands for one round of the jousting match. The next poster, should they accept your challenge, also rolls three two-sided dice. This person also gets to determine the winner by comparing the results of each round. So if Knight A rolled 2,2,1 and Knight B rolled 2,1,1, that means Knight A won one out of three rounds and tied the other two (or, in other words, you both knocked each other clean offa your horses twice. Ouch). Knight A wins the match.
Now, let's say Knight A rolled 2,2,1 again and Knight B rolled 2,1,2. Knight A wins one round, Knight B wins one round, and they tie once. The match is a draw.
Short version: win more rounds than your opponent, and you win the match.
Now, here's the fun part: there'll be a scoreboard in the first post where the players' win counts are displayed for the other knights to either ooh and ahh over or point and laugh at (keep in mind that the results of each round will be completely luck-based, so this is just for fun and should not be taken as an accurate representation of your persona's jousting prowess in the guild canon — unless you want it to be, of course).
Scoring: Match Win: 2 points. Match Draw: 1 point. Match Loss: 0 points. Nice try, though.
No tiebreakers, see? Keeps the thread clean and simple. Witty banter and enthusiastic gauntlet throws, however, are greatly encouraged.
...Thoughts, knightfolk? =D Any suggestions to make it more fun? I might have overlooked something in the mechanics, too, so if something doesn't look like it would work properly, tell me.

... I. Have no idea how the dice work. >.>;
Otherwise it seems good? =D I approve of witty banter and enthusiastic gauntlet throws!
