"My name is Fuzz. Nice to meet you." Sir Fuzz said looking at him. Fuzz sat down and smacked a Blowfly. "Pesky lil' things aren't they?" He said. "Know anything about the nearby Army, Vedimet?"

“This would be…reasonable, yes?”
Shade nodded. “As soon as this meeting is over, we should send a messenger to the inn so that it can prepare. Is there anything else that we need to talk about, or should we begin our preparations?” Shade glanced around the table, gaze following Tirilia as she stepped out to begin searching for the mirror shards she had mentioned. Shade hoped she could find them. It would make communication much easier, especially if the general decided to attack them.

Vedimet laughed. 'Army? Goodness gracious, child, it's only a caravan, maybe two. There's about 13 or 14 of them, at least two of whom are women. They may be from the west but they aren't Xenami. Most of them have pale skin and some do have dark skin, but not Xenam-dark. It's not an army. You Dunburrow Knights outnumber them. I understand in all there's about 20 of you.'
He stopped laughing and turn serious. 'They may be from this Riasa-Calleo, and I have heard their Knight force got doused by some mysterious opponent. I recommend you try Tovy next, she goes out of the city fairly early to collect herbs, bless her eccentric head. She might have heard from Alektamn too. Farewell.' He opened the door and ushered them out. 'Pity that you don't seem to have the time for a cup of tea. I'll see you in a week or so, Zari.' he shut the door, Leaving Zari to think.
When she spoke again, it was in a thoughtful tone. 'So they're not taking an army. Good. Tovy lives on the other side of the city. I'm going to teleport. I hope you don't mind fire.' Without waiting for him to answer, she muttered something and both of them went up in smoke, reappearing outside another, taller house that was leaning to one side. 'Tovy doesn't like people knocking. Her door breaks. So we'll wait until her charms alert her to our presence.

Why on earth did I offer to do this? I cant even remember where I last saw them...
Outside the castle, far beyond its boundaries, up into the frost covered mountain peaks and down into the deepest seas, into the darkest caverns, onto the most beautiful of fields.. As Tirilia sits on her window ledge, she sees all these places in her own diamond sized fragment of Octiron Mirror held between her fingers. One or two pieces are moving, others show nothing but darkness, some show the skeletons of their former masters, some lay half buried, others rest in the open air or watch giant creatures of the deep travel overhead. Her lip twists as more tiny images flash by. "This is going to be more difficult than I thought"

Sir Bacon had trouble keeping up with Zari and Sir Fuzz, as Lyardel was being rather testy, bucking and stopping completely at times. "What's gotten into you?" He asked, as he saw Zari and Fuzz slip inside a house. He tied the horse up and nearly knocked on the door, when he heard Vedimet's voice.
"'They may be from this Riasa-Calleo, and I have heard their Knight force got doused by some mysterious opponent." Sir Bacon paused... this person either didn't know much about Riasa-Calleo, or else he was hiding something... Riasans were pussycats when there was no protection, afraid to step out their door even, and the Calleions generaly kept to themselves, rarely even speaking to Riasans or even fellow Calleions.
When he heard Vedimet bidding them farewell, he untied Lyardel again, and mounted him... against the horse's wishes. "Stop it!" Sir Bacon hissed as he struggled upright. As the horse grudgingly followed Zari and Sir Fuzz, Bacon called to the other knights, "I say! How sure of this man's information are you?" But Zari, as well as Sir Fuzz, was gone in a blaze of light. "Er, what happened?" The horse-rider asked himself.
"Lyardel, track their scent!" He commanded the former mustang, who promptly started eating flowers out of a garden. "BEHAVE!" The knight shouted, and with a sigh, the horse trotted through town in the direction he thought Zari and Fuzz had gone.

((Just a quick post. Since Fenrix seemingly has nothing to say. Her falcon does. ^__^ He is my character just to let you know, not a community character))
Koje flew fast. A peregrine falcon can fly two hundred miles per hour, this brought him quickly over the Castle of Dunburrow. Sharp eyes scanned the area, taking in everything to bring back to his mistress.
Knights, village people, guards. He saw everything. Armed with this new knowledge he wheeled with a shrill cry and flew back to the caravan.

Zari whirled around upon the realisation that Bacon had been left behind. 'Zaha? Track their scent.' Zaha nodded and galloped off, following the smell of horse and the slight smell of the strange weapon the Iron Fist wielded.
((Zari teleports by fire rather than light. And I actually didn't realise Bacon was with them. I thought he was voluenteering for the Army-council thinga. ^^; you coulda made that clearer))

A sharp cry pierces the air and she looks up to see a peregrine falcon wheeling far over head. A piece of Octiron Mirror rests in her hand, she having just recovered it from a grave who's tombstone had long since faded. Her eyes narrow and she takes note of the direction of its flight. "Interesting.."

"I actually don't mind fire." Sir Fuzz said, "I desend from a line of warriors who controlled firey magic stuffs that I don't like using. We also seem to be resistant to fire which comes in handy." He kept up his pace occassionally looking back to see if they were being followed. "Vedimet seems to be a nice fellow." He said, "I wish we could have stayed for that cup of tea..." His stomach rumbled. "It seems to be tea time too."

'He may mean well, but his tea is terrible. Tovy is no less well meaning, but it doesn't show. All she really does is insult people, clobber them over the head with a chair, then when you come to you realise she's hidden a scroll containing all she's heard so far in one of the legs. She's...paranoid. I sent her a message telling her to not be so unorthodox, since I have some of my fellow Knights coming with me. So most likely she'll start throwing things at us soon.' Zari laughed, shaking her head. 'I'm being serious. We'll wait for Bacon, though.

I guess a "flash of fire" would have gotten my message across better. He was, but when Wolf mentioned Zari, Fuzz and Bacon are excused, I just decided to go with it. Besides, I probably won't be on much for the next couple of weeks or so and it gives my character an excuse for being absent.))

Wolf heard the distant cry of a falcon and looked up. But they were deep in the castle, how could he have heard a bird's cry from in hear? Strange, he thought, very strange..."Ah, yes, Shade," he said, snapping his attention back to the Bronze Knight. "The meeting is dismissed. We should all begin making preparations as soon as possible. If you would like to talk with the inn, I'm sure they will cooperate more with you than if I just sent a messenger. You are the Royal Envoy, after all." * * * "Well?" General Alec said again. "What do you see?" Casandra swallowed and looked up, wide-eyed. "I see a city," she said. General Alec grinned, eyes keen on his seer. "A city? What city? How far?" "The capital of Dunburrow," Casandra said, her voice heavy and dazed, "not far at all. In fact," she raised her hand and pointed ahead of them, "it is right there." General Alec turned slowly to face the horizon ahead of them. The silhouette of a walled city rose in the late-afternoon light. The cartographer's map hadn't put them at the city till after morning, though it seemed they would arrive before sunfall. All the better. His smile faded as a falcon flew overhead towards the back of the caravan. Curses! That wretched easterner's bird—she was contacting Dunburrow! She was a spy. "Casandra," he said, "get me the easterner. I want a word with her." * * * Jonathan stared down at the open book of school questions his attendant had set out for him. His quill sat to the side, just as lifeless. Just as boring. He heard knocking. Soft knocking. He turned to gaze deeper into the King's quarters; his attendant was in the other room, hadn't heard the knocking. Jonathan grinned. This could be fun. He walked towards the door, took a breath and pulled it open. He stumbled back in shock. "Sir Ruadhan?"

Fenrix smiled as she spotted the white feathers of Koje. "At last." She had begun to worry about the bird, fearing he had been caught by a knight or something. As it flew towards her she put out a gloved fist and whistled twice. "Hello my pet. What did you see?"
Momentarily her eyes glowed pure gold, the same as the falcon's. "Marvelous." She murmured, her eyes seeing everything he had. "Thank you Koje, you are my friend and confidante." Not turning her eyes away from the bird she reached into her belt purse with her free hand and pulled out a dead mouse. "Feast my winged friend."

Right on cue, a small coffee table sailed out the window and landed a few feet from Zari. She kicked it over. A message had been written on one leg. 'Hmm. "Stop faffing around and come in!". Sounds like Tove. Not Alektamn, he has an altogether better nature. Sadly, it's his sister I have to deal with. C'mon.' Without second thought, she opened the door and stepped inside. A girl of about 19 glared at her from a chair, long black hair partially obscuring her eyes, which were a rather startling shade of green-yellow. 'Abou' time. I're bin eit-ching to tall youse th' contents of a le'er I got from Tamn.' Zari started. Alektamn ret Iynoma hated writing letters. Which meant it had to be something serious. 'Alright, lets hear it.'
((South Xenam accent hurrah. they tend to replace 'v' sounds with 'rr' and to obliterate 'tey' 'teh' 'tee' sounds entirely. And to prolong 'eye' sounds as well.))
