"Yes. I don't mind it, so I get it more often." The part-demon looked down at Frozen. "I know the coronation is soon, but I'm on duty for another half-hour."

"It would be a pleasure, milady," Wolf said to the Amber Knight, who had just caught his attention as he was on his way out of the library, "to do a quick show of sparring with you. Shall we head towards the training fields?"
"Certainly," she said with a smile, her long hair swaying around her face as she nodded.
"Then we shall go," Wolf said and the two stepped out of the torch-lit library and into the marble halls of the castle. They strode through the halls, passing Shino as he rapped upon the doors in apparent search of someone, though he said naught as he was greeted by a woman and was pulled into her room after a few words were exchanged between them.
When at last the two were stepping out into the sunlight, Lord Wolf said, "The weather today is quite good, no?"
"I certainly agree," Fenrix said turning to her right. "The archery fields are this way."
"How shall we play?" the Green Knight inquired.
"It shan't be long till we arrive," Fenrix answered, "so I shall explain it all upon arrival."
"So be it," Wolf said with a nod and continued after his companion.

((Um, Wolf, isn't that godmoding?)) ((Godmoding...? What is that? And since this does not fit into the role-play, should I encase this in double parenthesis as well? -edit- Thanks for explaining things, both of you! This is my first time RPing, so the help is appreciated! And, Fenrix, if you wish, you can tell me what you'd normally say, and I can change your dialogue.))

((Um, Wolf, isn't that godmoding?)) Godmoding...? What is that? And since this does not fit into the role-play, should I encase this in double parenthesis as well? OoC//: God-moding is taking over another person's character without asking. But I give you persmission to do that every-once-in-a-while. You can, or you can do as I did, with OoC. Now, lets not clutter the board up with useless banter, back to the roleplay. Lord Wolf, I'll be posting in a moment.

And since this does not fit into the role-play, should I encase this in double parenthesis as well? ((Godmoding is taking control of another charactor without their permission. I think that there's a thread aboutit in the RP boards. The double parenthesis are to represent OOC, or Out Of Charactor speech.))

Ooc: Double parentheses would be excellent. or just put "ooc:" in front. It means Out of character. God-moding is when you control someone else's character.
The White Knight entered Lady Kat's domain, following her thorugh the room, and sat down beside her. "No thank you, m'lady." Shino said as he came to the subject in his mind and prepared himself, "I came to ask if you have read any dark auras lately. I need to know if everything will go perfectly for the Ceremonial Banquet."
He looked into her face and read a calm peace about her. The air seemed to glow around her and he couldn't help but look a little too long that she might have noticed. He looked away and brushed his silver hair out of his face.

Pyro flicked her sword again in a complicated pattern, slashing and jabbing at the harmless wall in front of her. As she went through a series of common drills, her mind drifted to the soon-to-occur king's coronation. The Black Knight smiled slightly, but her smile soon turned to a grimace of horror. As she turned to cut a crescent moon in the air with her flame sword, fire burst from the thin metal blade and the tapestry on the wall began to smolder.
"Oh no," was her response, as she hastily sheathed the blade and hurried over to beat the tapestry against the ground. After a few minutes of slightly panic, the flames died out. However, half of the decorative cloth was singed. "I have told them numerous times not to hang tapestries in the sword practice rooms," the Black Knight murmured, ashamed at her trouble as she strode quickly through the halls in search of someone who might be able to repair the tapestry. "I am the Flame of the Knights, but I do doubt it was meant in such a literal manner. When my mind is wandering such, I would do well to control my blade, lest I set the castle entire aflame."
Hopefully, her cloak was black enough not to show the hint of smoke and ashes, she thought, as she knocked on Lady Kat's door. Such a mishap was a shame to a supposedly practiced knight.

Fenrix smiled and raised her eyes to meet his, "That target, not quite three hundred yards? That is our attack point. Try this bow, it might suit your long stance." She handed him a beautifully carved bow, dragon runes were sketched into the handle. She picked up a quiver of arrows and handed them to him, they also had runes sketched into the arrow tip. Fenrix grabbed her own from around her back, it was white bone instead of wood, black words were painted all over them.
Fenrix noticed his stare. "They are dragon runes to help with flight and accuracy. Even with the worst of archers, they will hit their mark." Lord Wolf nodded and ran his hands along the shaft. "It is beautiful. Did you make these?" Fenrix nodded. "Cross Fire helped. He gave me the runes. I have become quite....experienced in the Runes."
She threaded her arrow through the shaft and took aim, her eyes narrow as she sighted the small red dot that was the middle."I have you." She let go and smiled when she felt it hit the target dead on. "Tis easy My lord. Just sight and strike."

Wolf examined the bow in his hands. It was of utmost craftsmanship. He had not his bow on him, yet this enchanted one from the archery's armory was suitable for his skills. Besides, he enjoyed flexing his skills with various weapons. It was both a test and a pleasure for him.
He narrowed his eye at the target and cocked his arrow. He pulled the arrow back and checked his aim a second time. He let go. The arorw struck Fenrix's and shattered it.
"Shall you attempt my feat?" he asked of his apparent equal in marksmanship.

Fenrix smiled at him. "Excellent shot My Lord." She silently asked Cross Fire to reset the targets and restrung her bow. "Now, perhaps you are a master of moving targets as well?" She waved a hand and animated the targets, they moved at a speed that rivaled a humans. "This should be sufficient, don't you think?" She readied her bow again and then stopped.
"How rude of me, you first." She stepped back."Have at it M'Lord, hit all three targets, and you might find yourself with a prize worth mentioning." Wolf smiled softly at the challenge and swept his gaze over the now moving objects. Not so hard, but not so easy. He raised his bow, ready to strike. The three targets moved and swayed, as if doing their own dance.

Lord Wolf readied another bow and lowered his eyes to stare at the first target. He blinked, his human pupils turning a bit more wolf-like, a bit more aquiline. He narrowed his eyes in on the first target and watched for a moment. He fired. His mark hit dead-on once more.
The Green Knight stood up straighter and asked, "Shall I fire again?"
"Certainly," Fenrix said with a smile.
Wolf threaded his bow once more and watched the second target. It moved more languidly than the first, yet this dance made it only harder to predict its movements. Yet again, Wolf turned his gaze deeper into his animalistic ways, sensing as well as seeing where the target would move.
His second shot was a perfect bull's eye.
He turned back to the Amber Knight; she nodded, face blank in anticipation.
Narrowing his eyes upon the last target, which was jumping around the field with rampant, unprecedented motions, the man grinned. He hadn't been on a hunt such as this for a long time, though he knew his prize would far outweigh the costs of a kill in his homeland.
He pulled back his arrow, tense but silent, heart racing but equally as still.
He unleashed his final shot.
It struck but threads from the target's true center.
The Knight nodded in his accomplishment and turned back to his companion. "I do believe," he said with a smile, "that it is your time to step forwards." ((Fenrix, if your actions are not natural, PM and I'll change them according to your specifications.))

Kat raised her eyebrows as she opened a cupboard. "Ah, the Ceremonial Banquet," she said. Before she could open her mouth and say anything more, there was a knock on the door.
She walked over, robe sweeping the floor, and opened the right door with a little flick of her wrist, which was adorned with a gold charm bracelet.
"Dame Pyro, what brings you here? And why do you bring the scent of fire with you?"

The corridors of the castle's left wing were as empty as its halls, the only furnishing was a suit of armour that stood alone in the middle of the main corridor which led to the main hall, a silent sentinel forever on guard duty. Kit took a deep breath, the air here tasted stale, the winds from the halls didn't reach here apparently.
KTHUNK!
Kit stopped in his tracks, his eyes focused on the suit of armour. The visor had fallen shut and a weird tapping sound could be heard from within. A second passed, then a minute, yet all he could make out was the tapping sound. The suit of armour itself was old, a layer of dust had long settled on its surface. He slid the visor open. The tapping sound stopped for a moment, then a screech and a ball of feathers flew out.
It was a tiny sparrow.
Kit looked at the little creature which had slammed into the wall and was lying dazed on the floor. Tenderly, he picked it up. "How'd you get in there?" he shook his head and carried it to a window and let it out, the sparrow chirped and took off. "You're welcome," he smiled. Sir Frozen and lady Shade were visible from the window, talking perhaps.
He turned back down the corridor. A few paces later he found himself at the castle's main hall. Already a small crowd was gathering in anticipation of the coronation ceremony. He sound of idle chatter filled the air with a meaningless drone. The main hall itself was well lit, a stark difference from the empty, grey halls of the castle's left wing. His eyes darted for a moment to the corridor that led to the castle's right wing.
For a moment he saw sir Shino and lady Kat. For a moment he looked on as sir Shino took lady Kat's hand and kissed it, before entering her room. For a moment he felt a cold needle lance through his insides before leaving a icy void.
He shook his head. It was rude to spy.
"Jealous?" a soft voice came whispered into his ear. Kit turned to see Maya, his spiritual familiar, or assistant. She was a succubus, elegant and graceful, her eyes sparked with fire as her velvet dress seemed to constantly flow. Not that anyone less than magical could see her.
"Oh shut it." Why? Why of all the creatures and demons was he given a succubus as a familiar? Even an imp would have been better.
"I know you are."
"I said shut it." Kit turned away from Maya's smirk and focused his attention onto the crowd. Maybe it would do him good to mix around for once, or at least get out into the open.
