*Shoi walks into the shop, hauling in boxes of new inventory*
Konnichi-wa, Draco-san. Thank you for minding the shop while I was getting this last-minute shipment of inventory. I didn't want to miss our grand opening but alas, it couldn't be helped.
*he begins looking over the recent purchases and starts tallying the record sheets*

Draco bows and disapears from the shop. A note is left on the front desk.
"You will find I have left you the current sales history. I am off to do my own shopping now."

"Ninja shop! Ninja shop! Ninja shop!" A tiny child commonly known as Fuzzee skipped into the shop, grinning and holding a sparkling coin purse that tinkled with Shinies. "Ooh, you have lots of pretty stuff!" She grinned, scanning the shelves. "Can I please have a pink ninja cat plushie, and a purple ninja cat plushie, and a really dark purple ninja wolf plushie, and a white ninja cow plushie? Yaaay plushies!" She grinned. "And that's, um..." she counted on her fingers for about a minute before saying, "And that's eight Shinies!" She put them on the counter. "Ooh, I still have a lot more, then! Nifty!" Bouncing a little and looking over the shelves, she said, "Can I have some fancy hair pins, and do the courtly female kimonos come in really small sizes? Because if they do, I want one!" She was grinning so wide her mouth could fall off at any second. She put the Shinies on the counter, adding the ten for the hair pins with the pile for the plushies, and putting the fifteen for the kimono a few inches away, just in case they didn't come in her size.

Shoi walks in from the back room and smiles at Fuzzee. "Hello there! I see, yes, the plushies are very nice, eh? We certainly do have small kimonos - the nobles of ninja mountain often have small relatives about." Shoi smiles again. "All we need to know now is what color you'd like the kimono in, and also if you'd like anything embroidered on it, such as your name or family symbol? As it is, yes, this will be thirty-three shinies.

"Squeeee!" Fuzzee sang, "Can it please be a really dark pink with some pretty flowers embroidered on it?" Her ever-present grin was growing wider and wider, and eventually her face was just going to fall off.

A cloaked mage by the name of Spottie steps in the large Japanese style room, bows, then procceds to the counter
"sugoire! (incredible)" she says, and is then met with shocked glances from ninjas throughout the room.
"N-Nihongo ga wakarimasu...(I speak Japanese...) eigo ga wakarimasu ka? (do you speak english?)" Not waiting for an answer, she continues, "to bloodriser Sake onegaishimasu. (ten bloodriser sakes, please)"

What? We have to actually make our own sushi ourselves!? Well... I'll have one sushi making kit please then. Do you have recipe books?

"Squeeee!" Fuzzee sang, "Can it please be a really dark pink with some pretty flowers embroidered on it?" Her ever-present grin was growing wider and wider, and eventually her face was just going to fall off. Shoi nods. "Certainly, we have dark pink. It's a very popular color actually, especially in the springtime; the dark pink matches well against the lighter pink of the sakura." He smiles wistfully, thinking of this past spring when he set up his dojo nearby. "I'll certainly have flowers as you described embroidered on it... perhaps cherry blossoms such as we have during sakura? For you, I'll even have it done for free!" Shoi then turns to Spottie. "Nihongo o benkyou shimasu (I am learning Japanese) and nods slightly. He then then packages ten Bloodriser sakes into a box. All yours for 10 shinies. Did you know we have some Maru's Special Reserve sake available too? Only three shinies per, and I assure you, it *is* worth it. Shoi grins to himself, obviously thinking about the experience. Finally, Shoi turns to Kengplant. "Sushi needs to be made very fresh, and a lot of people want to eat it at times other than when they come in. I don't have any recipe books but I could pen one soon and have some copies made. Also, I was thinking about setting up a sushi bar here in the shop on the long table in the corner..." Shoi ponders the thought for a moment. "Tell you what: I can roll you some maki here if you'd like, or I can do some actual sushi balls if you prefer. I'll just have to go and get some tuna or mackerel from the market down the road. What would you prefer?"

"Ah, you do speak english. Anyway, yes, I'll take one of the reserves. Oh, and one courtly kimono, with my symbol. The yumiharizuki (crecent moon) I mean. 31 shinies, yes?"

"Douzo (Of course). I will have the embroidery done shortly, please stop by this afternoon to pick up your kimono. What color did you wish your kimono to be, by the way?" He then adds a Maru's Special Reserve Sake to the other sake that he had already packaged and grins. "Do stop by for some more later. I'm sure you'll agree its exquisite!" He also waves to Fuzzee as she skips out the door and chuckles to himself as he does so.

Sounds good. I'll take the recipe AND some of both kinds of sushi using both kinds of fish please "All right then!" Shoi spreads a bamboo mat on the table in the corner and lays out some knives, sauces and other supplies. "I'll get this looking a bit more professional tomorrow, but it will do for now. Right, I'll go get some tuna and mackerel... be back in a flash - literally." A collapsing field of silver energy envelopes Shoi and he vanishes into it. About a minute later, a similar, but expanding field of silver energy appears in the same place and Shoi arrives from within it with a flash of silver light. He is holding a cloth sack with some fish sticking out of the top; he proceeds to put the fish on a tray of ice in the corner and grabs a sheet of nori, then pauses. "Hm, I don't have any cooked rice... ah, wait, I know!" Shoi takes a small pouch of flash powder from behind the supply counter and puts it under a covered pan of uncooked rice. He packs it into a small rice-paper ball and sticks it under the pan in small slot, and then pokes it with a sharp stick. One flash of fire and smoke later, he lifts the cover off the pan, revealing fully cooked rice. "Have I mentioned that our flash powder makes for a good incendiary attack as well as covering escapes?" Shoi chuckles merrily to himself and proceeds to cover the nori in cooked rice, sprinkles mirin on the rice and then prepares a core of tuna and vegetables, finally rolling it up tightly and slicing it into six pieces. He then takes a larger piece of tuna and two pieces of mackerel and places it upon three balls of mirin-soaked rice, preparing sushi balls. Placing the food upon a square plate of fine porcelain along with some pickled ginger and wasabi, Shoi pulls up a chair for Kengplant and places the plate of sushi before her. "Want some sake for with that? The Maru's goes especially well with the tuna. If you're still hungry afterwards perhaps you'd like to try the seaweed salad or some miso soup?". Shoi winks knowingly and goes back to the bar to clean up. "So, let's see. The recipe book is five shinies, the maki is three and the sushi balls are four. Add that to the supplies you bought earlier and we have a total of twenty shinies, unless you'd like something else?"
