First off, konnichiwa Shoi, and welcome to the Ninja Guild! ^_^ *bows* It's great to have another ninja around here. As for RPs, we were gonna start a new one since our old one died off, but... didn't. At any rate, here's the idea we were thinking of going on: I know I'm not in the Ninja Guild, but what if for a Roleplay idea. There is a tournament, for Ninjas. But during the tournament, someone starts picking off the ninjas one by one. It gives a mysterious, powerful villain, lots of action, and a way to bring in some minor characters. Just a suggestion, you don't need to use it. I'm interested in seeing what your ideas are, though. :3 |

Re: The tourney idea, Hunty-kun and I were actually throwing around the idea of an inter-guild Karma tourney. Not that I think these two tourneys should interfere with one another, just saying.

The tournament idea sounds good. I also had a story come to me regarding an assault on a samurai lord's keep, something which ninja were often sent to do. I think the thing I really want to start off with though is a "dojo" RP. IMO, what makes ninja truly appealing and special is not simply their stealth or abilities with blades or thrown weapons, but their particular take on the mystical - magic, but in a more innate way than the mages would use, and with a focus on the physical as opposed to the astral or arcane. I would like to develop that further, and I think a "dojo" RP would help - Shoi has considerable mystical powers, so much so that it makes up half or slightly more of his overall abilities, and I would like to share that with others. It could be very interesting, I think. Does sound like a fun idea, though my character never really did do that well in that aspect of ninja-ness. I wish I had more chances of getting online for a RP. Every time I think I'm getting on enough to join one, the RP dies or my internet does >.> How lucky is that?  I remember the early start of the guilds we had a tournament style RP to decide who was going to be in charge of the Ninjas. If I remember right, it never finished, and a while later the guilds were re-done. I remember I was having fun in the fight though ^^ |

Problem is, most of the activities we think of need dire participation from its members. Sadly, the Ninja guild has diminished to even less than five active members. I honestly believe this is due to the lack of motivation one can get from a guild.
The Pirate guild has, somehow, kept its members intact. I can probably insinuate another roleplay, but I'm still intimidated by the last one's lack of participation.

Well, I might need to do another roll-call, considering that it's been quite awhile since I made the previous one. It'll remind me of how many active ninjas we still have.
From what I see, I can only count three. Hopefully the existence of another role-call thread will bring back our cohorts.

Indeed. Well, Draco weighed in not that long ago, mostly to say that his internet was unreliable, and PFA has been around but hasn't been following up on my dojo RP T_T. That's about all I know.
