"Yeah, we should probably get going..." PFA said, as Zaha started walking away again. Zaha seems a bit upset about something... she thought. I wonder why?
Then PFA decided that having to hunt down a rogue ninja who you didn't have the slightest idea where they were or what they looked like would upset just about anyone. It wasn't her business, anyway.
With a sigh, PFA pulled her ninja scarf over her face. "Come on, let's go," she said, then started following Zaha to the gate.

'If we are to reach the edges of the mountains by tomorrow morning, we'll have to move fast. This rogue ninja bothers me almost as much as the fact no-one's seen me in the Felix sands for a while. it's a one-mile square distance, with the kilometre to the far north very mountainous. If you have staves, go get 'em. If you don't, I'll craft some.' Zaha said, trying to keep her voice even and controlled.

Cat Assassin could mouth no words. He, too, was bothered by the unknown rogue they were confronting, but talking about their target won't help. The orange cat simply followed the two as they went to the gate.

Jakie silently listened to the conversation, her insides squirming with excitement. She was so delighted with the thought of an auctal mission that she almost forgot to follow the other ninja to the gate. Collecting herself, she scampered to the gate with TWC not far behind. The kitten flicked his tail angrily. "If this is going to be a long walk, I need to be carried. I don't do walks." Jakie stopped and picked him up.

'Pick up the pace a little- any assassins after us will go for stragglers.' She looked over at TWC and laughed 'Actually, you might want to start practising- there are rocky regions up northwest Jakie will need both hands free for.'

"Pick up the pace a little- any assassins after us will go for stragglers." Zaha said. PFA squirmed a little at the thought and tried to avoid being in the back. Soon enough, the group had gotten past the gate. PFA looked around for a moment, taking in the view. Then some random godmodable ninja guy (who I'm throwing in just for fun  ) coughed. "So... uh..." SRGNG said, "where, exactly, are we going?"

The group walked past the wooden gate when suddenly an unknown ninja coughed to get their attention.
"So... uh... where, exactly, are we going?"
Cat Assassin faced the stranger as if he didn't mind telling someone not known to him something of great importance.
"Somewhere you won't bother to go to if you're waiting for your swift death. Coming?"

'If you really must know, we're heading north, towards...there. Then we'll start heading northwest towards the mountains. It'll take a few days, I think.

SRGNG scratched the back of his head. "So we're not going to Mordor? Too bad. I'd kinda like to see the place sometime." There was silence. SRGNG noticed there were people staring at him. "What? Oh come on, the mental image of ninjas at Mount Mordor is just really cool! You've gotta admit!" More silence. "...Yeah, so let's go," SRGNG chuckled pathetically. "I agree," PFA replied, and she started walking. "We need to find that rogue ninja." ((Yes, Rain. Let's keep SRGNG around for a while. )) |

However humorous the new companion was, Cat Assassin could not let his guard down. Moreover, he was getting more cautious by the minute. The orange cat could sense something wrong with the stranger.
As a precautionary measure, he silently moved near PFA and patted her right shoulder. Now that they were far from the guild, they had to be more careful in their every action.

PFA looked up at the mountains ahead of them, when suddenly she felt something touch her shoulder. She quickly turned her head to see what it is, worried it was something bad. But it was just Cat Assassin.
"Did you want something?" she asked him.
