[glow=red,2,300]We're not the only traffic on the waters. These are the types of ships that we can loot and/or run from. There is no honor among thieves, and pirates may steal from us, or we might steal from them. The Neopian Navy has a price on our heads, and I shouldn't like to cross them.
The monetary value after the ship description is the average amount each member of my crew will get for overtaking this sort of ship. This number is only an average. You might get a lot more or a lot less. I might have to change this chart later...
Types of ships we might run into:
Merchant Ships:
Galleon - Big-bellied; holding gold enough to shiver anyone's timbers. Bulky, slow, but powerful. Very well-armed. 8 doubloons.
East Indiaman - (Forget the fact that there is no East India in Neopia.) Also enormous, well-manned and well-armed. 7-8 doubloons
Merchant Carrier - Sleek, streamlined and speedy. Of average fighting power. Doesn't carry as much loot as a galleon or East Indiaman. 6 doubloons
Dutch Fleut - Don't let its fat belly mislead you. This ship can carry only half as much as the other ships. It's as powerful as a Merchant Carrier. 3 doubloons
Pirate Ships:
Galley - A ship rowed by 30 oarsmen. Not as fast or powerful as merchant ships. 2-3 pesos
Sloop - Built for speed and quick hits. This puppy can sail even in shallow waters. It is of average fighting power. 4 pesos
Schooner - Also built for speed, but had more guns than a Sloop. 3-4 pesos
Brigantine - A speedy ship of average fighting power. 5 pesos
Naval Ships:
Navy Snow - Built for speed and maneuverability over power.
Navy Sloop - A bit less speedy and a bit more powerful than the Snow.
Man o' War - You try to take us up against this thing and I will smack you silly.[/glow]
