I was thinking of doing that a long time ago, but for some reason never got around to do it. Fun fact: Hunty has two stationary dictionaries on her desk. One is an Estonian-English dictionary. The other is an English-Estonian-Russian maritime dictionary. I use the latter a lot, not only for the Pirate RP but also for my stories, and more often than not simply to understand how a ship works. That dictionary has a few handy-dandy schemes, and they're good for references when I need to figure out what I can or can't do on a ship (can't exactly use a fore stay to swing across yards when it'd result in the jibs coming down, right?) And then I figured that the rest of ye guys could use something like that as well, 'cause ship rigging is actually pretty complicated and we've run into technical terms in the RP battles before. So yay for my scanner. It looks long and complicated, but actually many things can be grouped together and made less technical. Most of it is just masts, yards, stays, rigging, lifts and braces. I deleted all the Estonian and Russian equivalents, 'cause believe me, they make things look very messy and confusing xD 'fcourse, this scheme is your 'default' three-masted ship. The White Weewoo, as we know, is a brigantine and looks more or less like this, with fore-and-aft rigging and all those fun things. But the basics stay the same.
