Okay, since it's now the 21st, I will set matches. =3
Match 1: Huntress vs. Jill! (Rematch)
Match 2: Kat vs. Keng!
Match 3: Leah vs. Cyborg!
Match 4: Goosh vs. Fire!
Match 5: Fenrix vs. Ikkin!
There's no particular order to these fights; they begin when the two fighters agree to begin, and they last for 5 pages.
So, let the matches... begin! =D

It's not a pop culture reference, or historical, it's a reference from another forum. Once again, you'll just have to wait and see. .. You know, I've been doing a lot of scheming on these forums lately o.0

Okay, I've just realized that most of you probably weren't around in the times when duels were still common, so it might be good to have a refresher course. ^^; Basically, duel posts (besides the first one) have two separate actions: first, you avoid the last attack of your opponent, then you make an attack of your own. So, if Rider and I were dueling, and Rider slashed her cutlass at me, my post might look something like this: *block's Rider's cutlass with the dagger in her left hand*
*stabs at Rider's stomach with her cutlass* And so on. ^^; There will be several rules: 1) No controlling your opponent's character. This includes injuring your opponent or making them drop their sword. Your opponent must always have the chance to avoid your attack. 2) Be aware of how much or little damage you're taking, and what your persona should or should not be able to block. Don't come up with impossible and unknown magic to avoid getting hit, and don't avoid everything, or there's no interest. Don't take a hit every turn, either, though. And try to factor in exhaustion. 3) Don't do too many things per post. You can do two or three attack actions, but any more than that starts to get silly. 4) Summons must be limited. No more than four of them, total, in a duel, and that's if they're fairly weak, like an average Meepit/ice weasel/etc. Very powerful summons (like Sev) should not be used at all. 5) Magic must be limited as well. This can be determined by the duelers themselves, but it should be kept in mind to keep things fair. Basically, the point of this is to have fun and make this fair for everyone. ^_^ And don't be afraid to whale on people. There's been a disturbing trend in which people are far too unwilling to attack their fellow forumers and seek out diplomacy instead. There will be no diplomacy here. You can (and should) fight for fun, as long as you fight.

I dun summon meepits. They're a flippant gang of anarchists who make annoying comments, among which "not my fault that you got into this mess" is surprisingly common >>
*twiddles thumbs* Shouldn't this show get started then? I can't be in the first round though. Exam session. Loaded with schoolwork. Not much online time.

Since Fen and my duel is now over, I think it's time to figure out who the next dueling pair will be.
Or, we can have multiple duels going on simultaneously, since they seem to take longer than I expected. >.>
The length will be changed for all future duels, though. Instead of five pages, we'll make it either three pages, or seven days in which both duelers post, whichever comes first. Also, if one of the duellers doesn't post for a week (excepting cases where they have a good reason, like a vacation), the other dueller will win the duel. This should make them go by quicker than the last one, and hopefully not bore anyone. ^^;
If you still want to do your duel, post here for confirmation. I'll start duel threads for any pairs who post their confirmation. ^^

I still want to duel but not right away. I might be busy over the next two weeks.
