"You guys!" Kat called out to the other pirates around her. "Rider needs help! I can't go...I have t'control the storm an' bewitch anyone who gets in her way!" She gasped and tried to take aim for the guy nearest to Rider, watching closely and making sure she didn't accidentally hit Rider with a violet lightning bolt.
With another discreet point of her finger, a bit of lightning uncurled itself from the gathering storm and struck the cutlass of one of the pirates headed for Rider. He gasped and let go of the weapon as it glowed purple, but he grabbed it back as it cooled down.
Kat's magic was wearing down as she tried to aim for the same pirate again, hoping to strike him instead of his weapon. Thankfully, her next blast threw the man backwards, but it didn't stop the next one.
"CAP'N!" she screeched.

Keng was the next one up a ladder. She already had her cutlass clenched in her hand. Rider was nearly on the other side of the ship, she would not be able to reach the attacking man intime. Instead she went for a diffrent sailor who was running at Kat's back. Her method of halting his movement was perhaps one of the later techniques most pirates would choose especially considering she had a cutlass. The method she chose however had nothing to do with it, instead, leading with her shoulder, she full body tackled the man to the ground. Once he was where she wanted him she stroked the back oh her neck quikly.
On the back of her neck was a sort of button implanted under her skin that when pressed allowed her to transform into her werewolf state at any given time, or out of it. So, it is therefore reasonable to assume that having just pressed this button, she had begun to transforn into a werewolf. The man beneath her promptly commenced to panic. It was at this moment that Keng realised she hadn't actually told any of the other pirates that she was the werewolf that might transform on deck. Oups.

Something small and chubby dashed through the air, landing on Cap'n Rider's shoulder. It was another one of the dark blue meepits. "Well, ell-lo," she stated. "Captain Rider, I presume? Nice... Bob finally managed to come up with a good description. I'm Justice, pleasedtomeetcha. Now, we have about ten guards in the prow and a few dozens back in the stern. There are more but those are hopeless sissies and should surrender without any struggle. D'you want to meet the ship's current captain once you're at it? To proclaim the official hijacking of the White Weewoo and such." "Justice here is a hopeless bureaucrat," another meepit explained grimly, galloping by. "Sure," Rider said to Justice, locking swords with one of the pirate attackers. "Once I'm done with this lot." To her crew she yelled, "Don't hold back! They can always be Phoenix Downed later! What the- where did this wolf come from, and why is she wearing Keng's clothes?"

[glow=red,2,300]((The White Weewoo was originally supposed to be partly painted white, but I guess I like the idea of an entirely white ship better. XD Nix the fact that it reminds me vaguely of Moby Dick. Feel free to control the NPCs; I told you that battle would be an informal thing.))[/glow] ((So, let me get this straight, we're going to be sailing around, on a bright, white ship, with bright white sails, and an ocean on which it will often be bright, and sunny, with the light glaring off the water... Have you ever looked at a blank piece of white paper in the sun? Sure it will do wonders against our ennemies but what are we supposed to do? Sun glasses are hard to come across on the open seas.))

"Thanks fer th' help," Komori said, digging through the rest of the cupboard, looking for more scraps. Half a jar of Tchea fruit preserves. She dropped the jar in the flour sack and started to heave the leather pack of tools onto her back.
"They certainly are causing quite th' stir out there, aye?" the korbat laughed. "And here I thought they'd be takin' th' ship with a bit more... stealth. Ah well." She shrugged. "We're not ninjas after all. ... But they'd better hurry, or their ruckus'll be alertin' th' Navy..."

Ikkin was one of the last to climb the ladder and board, and found a scene of confusion as she reached the deck- a werewolf was running around, attacking the guards, Kat was trying hard to control the storm, which was weakening by the moment, and Huntress, her meepit, and Rider were discussing what to do about the crew. She noted that the wolf had not yet attacked one of her crewmates, so she left it be, though still remaining wary, and she blasted away Rider's attacker with a huge gust of wind, blowing the hapless sailor into the ocean.
She looked around for other guards and threw several pressure darts at the closest one, knocking his cutlass away so she could hit him in the neck with the hilt of her dagger. She much preferred knocking out the crew to killing...
Hoping to help out her crewmates, and finding herself fairly far from any guards, Ikkin leapt about ten feet in the air, watching the scene, preparing a few pressure darts, and waiting to see where her help could most be used.

A door flew open in the forecastle and five more men ran out on the deck. Justice sniffed the air.
"Nice, the ones who were inside. That means less trouble tracking them down. G'luck, cap." She jumped down and disappeared into the fight.
The five had just managed to judge the situation and dashed into battle when one of them was taken down by a silent arrow. Huntress was crouching on the lower topsail yard, glaring down at the battlefield.
"Better in ranged combat," she muttered. "Go drag this buddy away from the battle, he may need some minor treatment. The poison doesn't last long." A meepit nodded and ran off. "Any sign o' the Navy yet, Bob?"
Bob "Squeaky" Destroyer was back in her pouch, carefully sniffing the air. "Not yet, but once there is a sign, it'll be too late already. But the battle shouldn't last long anymore. Those mages and werewolves are freaking the guards out."

Ikkin saw the five new men run onto the deck, one falling from what seemed to be an arrow. She threw a couple of darts, taking one down, then leapt down to the deck in front of Kat, readying herself for close-range combat. It was always more exciting that way...

A bulky man with a small rifle and a large scowl appeared from belowdeck. "You. With the ears," he said to Ikkin, "Be ye in charge o' this rabble?"
"That would be me," Rider interjected.
"The cap'n wants ter see ye in his quarters. An' he don't take kindly ter no."
"I honestly look forward to meeting yer cap'n," Rider said with a smile. "Call yer men off first, and we'll discuss the terms o' yer surrender."
The man blinked in confusion. This certainly was a bold lass. "No one's said nothin' 'bout surrender, lass. We still outnumber ye. Plenty of good men still below."
Rider knew he was bluffing. "Enough to beat our mages and Fido over here? Go back belowdecks an' tell yer cap'n I'll meet 'im in the open night air. Neutral territory, it is."

The weasels had raced up the deck, ready to plunder and give aid... but the purple lightning was so pretty...

"The more purple lightning, the more chance for the Navy to track us down," Justice the meepit commented from the railing. "The captain is coming. Brings a few men along aswell, and the ship still has about ten that still stand on their feet. Some ran off the ship during the fight. Nice guards indeed."
"Aye, 'cause you jumped on thar shoulders and said hi," Huntress remarked, jumping down from the yard.
"And some screamed something about not wanting to mess with any mages or talking meepits for the rest of their lives," Bob added from the pouch. "Man, I love being rabid."

As they neared the docks, Komori turned to Amy. "This is takin' 'em longer than I thought. Even if they get hold of th' ship, it'll still be a bit 'fore they can take off into open waters. If the Navy catches wind of this, we might have a few too many cannon holes in our nice new ship." She peered into the dark, scanning for any sign of the stirring soldiers. Her sensitive korbat ears caught the sound of orders being barked in the distance. The Navy had mobilized.
"We th' only ones offship? Maybe we can help our new crewmates with a little land distraction fer the lads in uniform."

"Ye, we'd best go and help the others." said Amy, looking over to the others, "I hope th' others will be apprieciatin' this."
She gestured to the food and winked before lugging the grub to one arm and drawing her cutlass with the others, a toothy grin appearing on her face.
"And ye, a distraction would be good." Amy said, "Just get this stuff on board first."
