[glow=red,2,300]((Plot: *twist'd* Oh dear, now this is a mess. 0_o Thanks for keeping things lively. XDDD))
"'oly mack'rel..." Rider whispered. She had never seen a phoenix resurrection before. It was perhaps the strangest and most beautiful thing she had ever seen.
"Ye're okay?" she asked the boy. "And," she added, "I think I heard ye say somethin'... Ne'er mind. Musta been me imagination."
She then turned to Zylaa. "Nay used to alcohol nor blood, I see. It'll take a while afore she becomes a pirate. Carry her aboard, 'cause if that murderer still be about..."[/glow]

((So that's the story behind Sev.... I never really got that point x3 And feel free to keep using him, maybe then I'll be inspired enough to go for another little sketch illustration. A phoenix sitting on the yard of the ship... *plots*)) ((I have bigger ideas about the phoenix bond than that... you'll see them later, probably. I'm planning on making a comic series about it once I get my tablet laptop back. j;) ))

(Wow, I haven't posted on here for a while. Ah well, I just read through all the posts and now I will post and keep trying to post. ) Amy heard a commotion outside. Slamming her empty glass down, she ran outside, towards the Weewoo. Running up the gangplank, she gasped. The deck was red and there was a boy sitting there with the Captain. He seemed to be okay. She peered quickly over the side of the ship before running over to Huntress. "Huntress," she said, "What happened here? I was still at tha' inn, and I kinda missed th' whole thing." She shrugged, looking slightly uncomfortable. She then shook her head and the messy sight on the decks. "More work for us then." Amy said, "Oh well. Does anyone know who the murderer was yet?" She was curious - who would do such a thing?

Huntress seemed a bit absent, her mind had already travelled back to the story about Geraptiku their Cap'n had told before. "Ye didn't miss much," she said, "and maybe tis better that way, t'wasn't a pretty sight."
"Except for the phoenix part," Bloody Mary stated, marching back aboard. "Now that was cool." The dark blue meepits flooded the deck again, somehow managing to look like a huge army while there were only two dozens. Somehow they also managed to look sheepish, which is rare when it comes to creatures who remarkably lack face muscles.
"He kinda got away," Bob said quietly.
"He got away," Huntress repeated, her voice cold enough to sink the Titanic.
"But we remembered his smell," Justice quickly added, "and I have a feeling that we'll meet him again soon enough. He dropped this, see?" She handed the girl a piece of folded dirty paper. Huntress opened it and a vague grin spread over her face.
It was a map of - or judging by the handwritten notes and arrows, to Geraptiku.

Serv, who had been in shock, finally got his bearings. "Aaaah, my head hurts, and my neck, what happened just now? Why am I on the floor? Is there a casino here?"

Ikkin turned to look at Serv, who finally seemed to have realized that he was alive. "You were killed by decapitation, then thrown overboard. The work of someone we don't know, but will probably meet soon enough," she said, realizing just how absurd it must have sounded. "Huntress' Meepits brought you aboard and laid you out on the deck, then I summoned Sev, a phoenix who I'm soul-bound to, so he could revive you. But no, there's no casino. Though, even if there was, with your luck, I'm not sure you should play."

Serv's mouth hung wide open. "Uhhh, okay, sure, that makes some kind of sense, and why my neck hurts... And why my clothes are all burnt and- OH MY GOD!!" Serv shrieked "My pants are gone!!!" Serv got up, and ran to his quarters, covering his privates as he toddled along.
When he got to his room, he desperately tried to stop Echo noticing him half-naked, and leaped to his wardrobe and shut himself in, hoping to find some pants.

"Woah, the lad was cut up? What happened at th' Pheonix part?" Amy asked eagerly. Then she saw Servi running past.
"...Oh. Right." she said, raising her eyebrows before turning to look at the peice of paper Huntress held, "I wonder why he was heading to Geraptiku? Maybe there be some swag there..."
Amy rubbed her hands greedily.

"Now, if you don't mind my asking, now that almost everything is back in order, who was that chap and when did we hire 'im?" asked Keng to no one impaticular, eyeing some cleaning utensisls and carefully positioning herself away from them, though she had a horrible feeling she would be stuck with cleanup anyway. "Come to think of it, I don't think I've met you either." she said to Pam. "I'm Keng, pleased to meet ya despite the .. unusual circumstances, I should warn ya I'm a werewolf I suppose."

Echo thought she heard the door slam. She sat up, and looked around the quiet room. She crossed the wooden floor stiffly, her arms crossed around her stomach insecurely. She sensed a presence in the room, though. She opened the wardrobe...

"I'm Pam," she introduced herself to Keng. "Come on board today. I'm jus' a navigator lookin' fer a bit o' excitement. Weren't countin' on gettin' so much so soon tho..." She looked at her new, now clean, cutlass, and wondered how long it would be before she had a chance to use it... ((And yay, I got me a new pic of my pirate persona! Thanks Tess ))

[glow=red,2,300]"Now we 'ave double th' reason ter go ter Geraptiku," Rider said. "An' lookin' at this mess, we'd best step on it. If ye lassies still be interested in joinin', understand that we split all booty ev'nly, aye, an' the work as well. Elcie, git up th' mast. Keng, I want these decks shinin' agin, git a move on. Ikkin, extra wind in th' sails, if ye please. I'll be in me bedchamber, plannin' what ter do next. If ye need ter ask me anythin', that's where I'll be."[/glow]

((And the crew spent two days staring blankly and trying to figure out what the Cap'n wanted x3 *brick'd* I'll just take the liberty of pushing the RP a little... again...))
As the Weewoo left the harbor and turned west, the little gang of rabid meepits gathered by the main mast. They preferred to take it as "their territory", despite their otherwise anarchistic view on life, but on a ship so crowded they usually switched to the "aggressive-defensive anarchy" stance.
"You know what I don't like?" Justice asked, looking up from her gigantic book of laws. "You three didn't smell it when you were on the land this night but over here..."
"If it didn't come from the west then I probably don't care," Bob grumbled, then his face became serious - as much as it could - "...but it did, didn't it?"
"Why else would we be telling you?" Joe asked. "It was the smell of, you know... that ship."
The meepits peered around like a gang of midgets planning to rob a bank.
"That same ship?" Bloody Mary asked grimly. "I'm not really that surprised... something tells me that it's keeping an eye on us. Or sail, for that matter."
"Atleast on one of us..." Santa muttered.

((Ergh, I haven't posted for ages. I'm a bad pirate.))
Tamia looked up from her bag in time to see Opal slip in through the cabin's door and calmly swoop up to rest on the foot of the bunk. The truffle then proceeded to lick her fur clean in a catlike manner.
"An' where have you been?" Tamia mumbled to the animal. She was feeling a bit put out. She had been looking through her belt pouch to examine her belongings, and had been quickly reminded that apart from her slingshot, a few river pebbles from home, and a couple of stale and crumbled healing herbs, she only had one real left to her name. "Fancy another run-in with the meepits? You know, I'm betting that you could be their lunch in about one gulp."
Opal looked up from her bath to give her an expression that was half-offended, half-pitying.
"You're wondering why I haven't been mingling with the rest of the crew yet?" Tamia sighed. "Because I don't think I'll ever get this pirate life. I don't belong on a pirate ship, just like I didn't belong right under the nose of the Meridell Navy."
Opal gave the human one last look, and continued licking.
Tamia was quiet a moment. "You're right. I won't belong if I don't try. I'll go see if I can help with any of the work on deck." She was halfway to the cabin door when Opal turned and gave a concerned chirp.
"I just missed something big up there, didn't I?" she muttered, angry at herself. She hurried up to the deck, hoping she'd still be able to find out what had happened.

((I don't think any of us is a good pirate x3 Unless we decide to become Greenpeace activists and start attacking whaling ships. Personally, I'd be in xD On a side note, if any of you have been wondering what the Weewoo looks like then here's my vision. Complete with a crooked bowsprit >> Cap'n, take a better care of yer ship...!))
