Incidentally, OOC!Hunty came home from dorm today and therefore spent two hours on the bus down a road she's seen for two solid years and with an MP3 player she's also listened to for two solid years, so she was bored enough to remember the highschool science classes and as a result of a lot of calculating, she can hereby state that if we're to assume that Sev dropped the book from exactly eight feet above Hunty's head, that he let the book go at the second when it was positioned right above the head, that Hunty was at that point moving on at roughly 2.4 mph, which is my average fast pace, and that my calculations were correct, then she'd moved forward by the time the book reached the level of the head and it whizzed past her head 2.2 feet behind her. I know, I'm a sad case.

Hunty...I love you. Deeply. As a math major/physics minor, have made me very, very happy.

Well, I mainly just wanted to prove to myself that after two years in the humanitarian field I can still remember the basic formulas of velocity and energy and gravitational acceleration. Took me twenty minutes to remember with no references handy, but according to the internets, I got it right xD

Although according to Chikkin, Sev actually dropped the book eight feet from the ground, which reduces the eventual book distance to eight inches. Briefly pondered editing it, and then figured that it doesn't make much of a difference as long as the book missed >>

Don't read too much into this x3 Let's face it, half the texts out there (texts in the broadest, linguistic sense) feature the archetypal Goofy Sidekick Couple. From PotC (two of those there, in fact) to Timon and Pumbaa, and everything inbetween.

...oh heck, who'm I kidding. Say hi to Fred Colon and Nobby Nobbs, gentlemen. I don't plan to make 'em recurring, but as it so tends to happen to things I don't plan, they might show up again later on when I'm in the mood for fillers.

Well, I sortof needed them there xD Because there was need for a plot and I don't like creating a character solely for a new plot arc, so I took what I already had. Hence the Rane/Kienne story on the side.

...yes, I do have an NPC problem. S'why I don't like bringing in new characters xD But these two are secondary by the very definition, so in order to keep 'em consistent, I can't marry 'em off to Leraye, thank goodness.
