I'm taking Rider's mass to be approximately 54.4 kg/120 lbs. Using a recipe for a real-life Pan-Galactic Gargle Blaster, one PGGB has a mass of ( very) roughly 2.77 kg, and contains 1.092 kg (1383.5 ml) of alcohol. Thus, after five PGGBs, Rider's mass would have increased by 13.8 kg/30.4 lbs, bringing her up to 68.2 kg/150.4 lbs. Alcohol would comprise just about 8% of her total body weight. None of the blood alcohol content calculators I could find went that high. However, considering that she now has about 7.3 quarts of alcohol in her system, and the average human body has only 6 quarts of blood, I would estimate her BAC to be about 122%--more alcohol than blood. Someone light a match and see if she explodes. *Shifty eyes* What? I just had a big physics test. This stuff is cathartic for me. XDDD Fraze, you're my hero. There's got to be something about this roleplay... every statement involving basic physics, or basic biological functions, someone has taken it upon themselves to do the math. XD Edit-- And any Spacefleet character already in existence in the roleplay, feel free to notice the weasels, interact with them, etc.

What? Acknowledgment of real world limitations in a roleplay? What is this madness?!
*spontaneously gains the ability to fly for no apparent reason*

*got back from another internetless weekend today, spent some very fun minutes reading up, and can only comment with this*: [glow=red,2,300]The best part? IRL, I'm totally smaller than that. XD Please don't make me explode.[/glow] ...because you know I get withdrawal symptoms when my sketchbook goes without oddball sketches for more than a week :3 The RP itself is oddly quiet, though >__> *wanders off to read up and see if she can blow anything up in the near future*

[glow=red,2,300]Love you too, Hunty. XD
Oy, Fleeters, what does the Fleet HQ look like from the outside, and what does it have in the way of defenses?
Also, people, please feel free to make bad guy NPCs, I can't play the entire side of ebil. [/glow]

Also, people, please feel free to make bad guy NPCs, I can't play the entire side of ebil. [/glow] I've always imagined it as looking like a bunch of interconnected domes. Though really, domes aren't the most space-efficient shapes (every level has to be a bit smaller than the one below it, curving roofs, etc), so I don't know how well that would work in reality. On the other hand, a lot of it is underground--so maybe the architects sacrificed a bit of utility for the sake of design. As for defenses--well, for one thing, the fleet was probably spotted as soon as it left the atmosphere (or as soon as it circled around the planet and came within view of Spacefleet, either way). I'm guessing someone from the control tower will hail you pretty soon (I've already got enough on my plate, so someone else will have to do that), asking what your business is. I've always seen Spacefleet as being the interstellar equivalent of a small, first-world country: well developed and reasonably well-defended, but still somewhat at the mercy of larger powers economically, socially, and militaristically. That being said, I think its exterior defenses are still enough to keep a moderately-sized invading fleet at bay. I'm having a difficult time finding a way to say this tactfully, but "wrecks held together with magic and spit" are probably going to die like flies.

[glow=red,2,300]Time to pull the "Magic done it" card out of my sleeve again. Geebus, to any mages in the group, I don't know how you do it. XD
Perhaps they land somewhere else on the moon and walk to the Fleet. Gah, I wanted to design them to be geurilla warriors and I'm going about it the entirely wrong way. ^_^; Thinking was never my forte anyway. >.>; [/glow]

Even if they landed on the far side of the moon, they'd still be noticed. And I hate to say it, but moons are pretty big--they'd probably be walking several thousand miles.

When all else fails, focus on magical stealth x3 As in, average to lousy offense and top-class magical defense, with cloaks and invisibility and radar-avoidance and possibly shifting between dimensions. Wouldn't expect anything different from a demon guerrilla squad, in fact.

Sorry I haven't been able to post. This is what two essays and an animation project does to you. I should be fully recovered and able to post by tomorrow.

The Spacefleet map thread says that we've got external missile batteries and laser cannons for anti-ship defense. We also have some satellites floating about that we should be able to use to ram the demon ships.
I'm not sure what time it is. >_> Probably a little bit into the afternoon, if everybody is finishing up eating lunch.
