Bubbles, bubbles, bubbles. They had a hypnotic quality to them. Keng didn't notice she'd been scrubbing the same spot for the past five minutes. Her eyes had become transfixed on the white foam playing over the deck and her scrub brush. Each stroke created more, but they were always popping, slowly, one at a time. Some of them were so small she could barely see them. A select few floated into the air and played lazily on the fresh ocean air. They floated about the deck, over the game of RPC being played in a corner of shade, past the wheel, and up into the crows nest. A few escaped below deck where some of the crew snoozed, and others were busy whipping up a spot of lunch. It had been three weeks since The Shadows had infiltrated and invaded the guilds. Reflecting back upon it the losses on their side had been impressively low considering the odds they'd faced. Though there were plenty of scars to show for their efforts. Time had been taken to mourn for the lost, but life had to go on for those who remained. And on it did go. The White Weewoo had returned to it's usual routine, though today was rather slow. It suited them though. It was good to be back in the familiar routine. Keng looked up at the sun, yes, it was good to be home and relax for a little while. She herself had just returned recently from a detour she had felt obliged to take as a result of one of her battles, the ship was in better condition than she'd expected after all that time without it's swabby. But it certainly wasn't looking it's best. She grinned fondly about her, then returned to her work, finally moving on to another section of planking. Of course a pirate's life is never peaceful for long, but it wouldn't be a pirate's life if it wasn't. And though none knew it (accept for you and me of course cause I'm telling you right now) something big was just around the corner. ________ ((Ok, This is taking place after the GW as you may have noticed. I don't know if the other RP in here is ever going to live again, I noticed Kat is trying to give it CPR, if it does we'll just be on two different timelines. I do have something planned for this RP, but you are welcome to throw in whatever troublemakers you want. I also reserve the right to change the time of day whenever I feel like it . In other words, the events in this RP will not occur all in one day. So for now just throw your characters in and have fun!))

Goosh sat happily on a barrel in the shade, watching Keng scrub the deck. He turned to the other players, pulling out a small chunk of gold.
"I bet this nugget," he said, before resuming his relaxed stance. The Yurble watched the bubbles hypnotically, unaware of Keng's same ponderance. "Hey Keng," he called teasingly, "You missed a spot."

Ikkin knelt on the deck of the ship across from Goosh as he pulled out his nugget of gold and bet it in RCP. She smirked, stood up, and pulled Goosh's hat from his head, then moved back to her spot.
"I bet Goosh's hat," she said, holding it up for the other players to see, then putting it by her side where the Yurble couldn't get it. "What? All's fair in love and RCP." She winked.

"Hey!" Goosh said. "That is worth -so- much in Neopia. It's part of a deluxe set." He retaliated by grabbing Ikkin's cutlass from her sheath, which was hanging by the chair. "I bet Ikkin's sword." He stuck his tongue out at the kitsune.

Ikkin glared at Goosh. "You can't bet twice in the same game!" she said.
She tossed a blunt pressure dart at Goosh's hand to try to make him drop the cutlass.
"Besides, that's the dull one," she said as she walked over to try to take it back. "You could bet it next time, but... I'm the only one with a use for that. And if I don't have it, I'll have to use the sharp one when we train with each other." She smiled a rather evil-looking smile at that. She didn't really want to hurt him, but, the impression could be useful.

Fenrix yawned. "I bet that keg of rum that Keng is sitting on." She wrapped her tail around it, trying to knock it over. She cast an eye over to her shoulder to look out at the sea. She had stayed out of the fighting, she was more content with just watching then actually getting her hands dirty. But she was back into her old routine of blowing up random stuff and cheating at cards.

"I bet the word 'escape,'" called Zylaa, pronouncing it like Dory in Finding Nemo. The weasel-girl was nestled in the rigging like it was her own personal hammock, ignoring the many ice weasels who actually were using the ropes.

"Missed a spot eh? Well, you better come and clean it cause I don't know where you mean." Keng countered Goosh. She then smirked as an idea struck her, "I bet all my chores for today." she said, tossing her bet in from where she knelt scrubbing the deck. "Of course knowing my luck I'll probably win after saying that."
The Weewoo was on course to a grouping of small islands where they'd stored some 'supplies' from an earlier 'business deal'. It had been a very good 'agreement' for them, quite the steal you could say. If the wind kept up at it's current rate, they should get there in about an hour and a half.
"Well, I suppose my bet makes five, so, let's roll the dice shall we mates?" She picked up one of the strange 10 sided dice they used and gave it a toss. It bounced across the planks three times, knocking against the wood in what seemed to Keng a foreboding manor. "Aww shucks." the number 9 stared up at her. "C'mon, someone roll a 10!"

"You can't bet eskapey," Goosh muttered, plucking the die form the table, "it doesn't exist." The Yurble blew on the die and tossed it with too much force. It tottered off the table, bounced off the floor and plunged into the sea.
Goosh grinned sheepishly. "Well, I guess I win."

"Since I missed the last round, I'll join in the next," said Kat, walking up to them while braiding her long black hair. After tying it with a long purple ribbon, she dug into her pocket and drew out a large white feather. "I bet this albatross feather. Blew into my quarters while I was cleaning it out. What? I lost this nice book on famous female pirates some time ago. At least I found it."

Goosh fished another die out of his pocket as Ikkin returned to her seat. "I withdraw my nugget, and bet..." he ruffled through his cloak. "This scroll." He place a small scrap of parchment, sealed with shiny green wax, onto the table.

Huntress was, as usually, standing at the wheel, or rather leaning on it. Keeping a steady course didn't exactly require full attention. A glance at the dead water from time to time did the trick.
"Ey, am I allowed to bet Santa?" she interjected, squinting at the players.
"Santa Claus or our Santa?" asked Bloody Mary, who, as usually, had curled up in an anatomically impossible position on her shoulder. "You always try to bet Santa in those games. You know meepit loyalty doesn't bend that way."
"She's just trying to get rid of that bobblehead," muttered Bob the meepit, sitting on the wheel and leaning against one of the handles. "Not that it'd help us. She'd come back. You did, didntcha? Who do you technically belong to now?"
"I'm an anarchist, no matter how many bets land on my tail," said Bloody Mary, shooting a somewhat suspicious glare at the scroll Goosh had just bet. "And that thing looks familiar. Smells familiar, better put. What is it?"

"Dunno," Goosh said, poking the scroll. "Some weird fella handed it to me the last time I was in Tabloid Town. You think we should open it?"

Bloody Mary jumped up at once, grabbing Hunty's earring to keep his balance.
"Are you kidding? You should never, ever, ever accept - or open - scrolls that were handed to you by some weird fella. Especially in Tabloid Town."
"For all we know, it could be one of Stal's How To Pull a Believable Sailormoon Cosplay scrolls," said Huntress. "Ow. My ear."
"Or a Mysterious Scroll of an Ancient Curse," hissed the meepit. "Which do you think is more believable?"
Huntress gazed at the scroll. "Seeing that it's from the 'bloids? The Sailormoon version."
The meepit snorted, glaring at the scroll. It looked harmless enough. Or tried to look harmless - where's the big difference?

"It's not magical," Ikkin said, walking over to where Huntress and Goosh stood looking at the scroll. "At least, not dangerously magical. I'd be able to sense something from it if it were. I'd say we should open it. Even if it is a Stalormoon cosplay thing, we liberated some brain bleach in the last raid. And a momentary mind scarring is worth the blackmail, methinks."
She smirked. "But, I say Goosh should open it. For losing the die." Besides, the little Yurble had the best reactions.
