Sarn grinned at Spottie as he took the basket and laid its contents out on a shelf. "No charge, but I'll take a chocolate dragon's wing. 15 shinies, right?"
"Ah, Spottie," he chuckled, "mages don't buy from their own shop." He pulled a Dragon's wing out and tossed it to his fellow mage, grinning again and tapping his long fingers on the counter, waiting for another customer.

“I do suppose that's right” Spottie murmured back “I'm just not really used to working as a team of mages, with a shared shop, you know?. Anyway, you need anything else?”

After walking in and out of the store several times...
I can't take it anymore, screw resisting temptation and impulse buys. I'll have one of those ankle biter trap contraptions.

Shoi walks into the Mage Shop with a knowing look on his face.
"I'd like to employ the services of Azzie, Fuzzee and Ginz. I understand their rate is 20 shinies per hour, which means one hour for all three would be 60 shinies. Here's what I would like - for every weekday of this upcoming week, Monday to Friday, for two hours from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm, I'd like Azzie and Fuzzee to perform with their entertainment magic outside the front of the Ninja Shop. I'd like Ginz to work her magic pertaining to happiness to make the entire area have a better time in the process. I realize this will be six hundred shinies and I'm sure that it will be the best way imaginable to celebrate the grand opening of our sushi bar!"
Shoi grinned widely. "You did know we have a sushi bar now, right?"

Sarn couldn't help but give a little whimper as he heard the news, spoken by the operator himself. Shoi looked so smug in his purchase and all Sarn could think to be happy about was the 600 Shinies being hauled into the shop. Instead of reacting, Sarn simply passed on messages to Ginz, Fuzzee and Azze to inform them of their new tasks, at which point, he began to wonder if he could rope Leoness into running a bakery in the Mage shop.
