The Knights have one of these, and it's pretty useful, so I thought I'd make one for the Mages, too. ^^
...okay, it's more that I have an OOC question to ask you all and don't want to mess up the RP thread, but let's ignore that.
Anyway, first topic of discussion - does anyone else think it might be a good idea to have a bit of a timeskip? We could all skip to eating dinner together or something, with all of the introductions done, and I could try to get some kind of plot started. Because this RP doesn't really seem to be going anywhere right now, and I figure a kickstart might help. ^^;
Plus, it would help with our plothole problem. Could make it easier to stay consistent with peoples' locations and such.

Second, I think we should skip to training, so yes that would be a great idea.

Yeah, OOC means "out of character." ^^; Should have explained that. >.> Well, we wouldn't be doing training right away anyway. ^^; I was hoping to come up with some kind of threat that we'd have to deal with, because that's the kind of thing that spices an RP up the quickest.

Yay I was right! XD Well, that works too. And we could actually incorporate training in dealing with the threat, so it works.

The only plotline I can think of is a sudden overrun of imps.
*shrug* Or training is good

Skipping ahead is definitely fine with me. The roleplay's kind of grinding to a stop now.

Yeah, I'm getting bored with all the introductions. (Hence why Omni started playing with the aura of the person next to her ) I wouldn't mind a skip. I'm okay with wherever we decide to skip to, too. I just want to get going.

I vote for skipping ahead to a plot.
Y'know .. a plot involving magic items? *rubs hands together gleefully* x3

Plots are good. ^_^
We could... I dunno, I have a backstory that I could bring into things. This version of Elcie is from Tilvar, a nation where mages are revered but sentient nonhumans are despised... she was able to survive by hiding her Thirecat traits, but then they discovered her two Gathows and she fled. And she knows that other places accept humanoid species like Thirecats, but doesn't yet realize that familiars and companions are perfectly acceptable.
We could have a war. Or secret police chasing after her. That would be fun.

Of course, you're the one who'll have to bring that up, but I'll try and make it easy for you to do. ^^ Everyone seems to be in agreement about the timeskip though, so I'll do that now. ^^

Timeskipping would be nice, except for the fact that I have no idea whatsoever how to jump into the roleplay. Help?

Hmm... I guess at this point you'd just have to have an excuse to have your character come into or be in the manor. I think that's what we all did, anyway. xD Just find a way to have your character walk in on everyone.

Okay...*goes to read over pages* Will I be shot/burned to ashes/attacked with any other kind of magic if I do an intro?

Uh, don't you kind of have to do an intro to ever join the roleplay in the first place? I mean, if you didn't do one, ever, then you wouldn't ever be part of the roleplay, so...
