Walking over to Dayna's body Dange trys to feel a pulse. He feels nothing. "She is dead." he says blankly. Sounding rather like he didn't belive what he was saying.

Jame shook his head. "Just because her body's not functionning, it doesn't mean she's dead. Her spirit, her soul, is still in her body. Something is keeping it there."
Faiy nodded. "We might be able to bring her back to life." she said, putting the small jewel on Dayna's chest, but still keeping a hand on it. She gently pushed it back in, and waited what seemed like hours to her, though they were only minutes. Wake up, wake up, please...
Jame didn't wait. "Dayna? Wake up!" he said, shaking her gently. After a few seconds, Dayna opened her eyes, tears streaming down them. She was a bit confused, and didn't know why, but she felt ashamed of herself.
Faiy, too, was crying, but of joy. She hugged Dayna and held her against her for a moment, while the young elf closed her eyes again, this time falling unconsious.

Jame smiled, but then noticed his sister. Well, the empty shell that used to be her. He sniffed, and murmured, looking at the sky, "Farewell, Lil', hope you're happy up there..."

Jame nodded.
"I'm so sorry, Jame. She was such a great person..." Faiy said.
Jame nodded again. He took a deep breath and asked, "Well, shall we take the lass' back to the village?"
Faiy nodded.
Jame picked Dayna up and started walking, Faiy following.

Jame got back to the hut, and lay Dayna down on a bed. "There," he said. He went outside where Faiy was waiting, and they talked, and talked. An hour passed. "I think I should go check on Dayna." Faiy said, going in the hut.
She found Dayna, sweating and mumbling, clearly having a nightmare.
She rushed over and shook Dayna gently. "Dayna! Wake up!"
Dayna opened her eyes and sighed when she realized it was only a bad dream.
"Dayna? Are you okay? It seemed like you were having a terrible dream."
"I'm fine..." Dayna muttered.
"You sure? You don't seem like it..." Faiy put her hand on Dayna's forehead and exclaimed, "Beezlebub's bum, Dayna! You're burning hot!"

"Aye, there's a lady nearby who knows herbs an' stuff, wan' me t'go get 'er, Faiy?" Jame asked.
"Yes, but don't tell her anything about the jewels and magic and all the rest. You know we're in big trouble if someone finds out." Faiy answered.
Jame nodded, went off to get the lady he was talking about and came back.
"How may I help you, lass'?" the girl asked Faiy.
"Could you please try and concoct(sp?) something for my friend here? She seems to be ill." Faiy asked politely.
The woman nodded. "I'll try." she said, examining Dayna attentlively. As soon as she felt her forehead, she shook her head. "The lassie's ill all right. I'll do what I can..."

Andra had beein following along, listening to Beej complain on and on and on.

((I know...I was heading more for "Ye olde english" more than pirate-ish, since people didn't talk perfect english back then, but it resembles your pirate talk so much!))
The woman took a deep breath. "I'll be back, aye, I just need to go get what I need." she said, stepping out of the hut and heading towards her home.
She came out with a bag full of herbs and ingredients, but got stopped in the middle of the way by an old woman. Fiona.
"Why are ye carrying so much things, lady?" Fiona asked, half-smirking.
"I have to help a lassie over there get better. She has fever and really doesn't seem well." the healer replied, taking a step back.
"Well, I don't think you'll help her get better. Not if I can help it." Fiona replied.
"How so? I'm the healer around here, not you." the young woman replied.
"Listen, you'll do what I say or you'll have to face the CONsequenCES, understood?" Fiona replied, emphasizing the first and last syllables of 'consquences'.
The lady nodded nervously.
"Good. Now, I want you to do anything but make the wee lassie get better. Now GO!" Fiona said, pushing the lady towards the hut.
As the woman entered the hut, she took out various ingredients and mixed them to create a brown-ish liquid. "Drink this," she said to Dayna, giving her a small portion of the liquid. Dayna obeyed, and swallowed the medicine.
The woman got back up, handed a bottle with the rest of the liquid to Faiy and said, "Every two hours, give her five drops of this." After that, she left.
An hour passed, and Dayna fell asleep. She woke up half an hour later to a horrible stomach ache, and stayed awake for about 30 minutes before taking another dose of the liquid, which made her feel drowsy and fall asleep again.
