The image disspeared. It was...an illusion. A simple illusion, caused by magic. Dayna groaned, and put her hands on her nuke, covering her ears with her elbows. She shook her head and muttered, "Stop it with all the magic!"

Dayna winced. "You didn't see it? There was the woman with black hair I told you about right there." she pointed to the bush. "And I felt like I missed her, but the problem is, I don't even know why."
Faiy! That is not what I asked you to do! the voice exclaimed angrily.
I know, I know, I just wanted to check if my magic worked...
Are you sure you know what to do?
Yes, I'm supposed to tell her about the jewel, and tell her about the vase, and the temple, and EVERYTHING ELSE.
Then TELL HER!
I will, I will! Just as soon as they finish talking...

"I'm fine..." Dayna murmured. She didn't want people to worry about her, when she knew perfectly that she could get things sorted out some way.
Faiy waited patiently for the right moment to speak up.

Faiy decided it was the right moment. "About that person," she said, kneeling down next to Dayna, "I'm sorry, it was my fault. I realized that I shouldn't of done that, and all I did was confuse you even more, but I was only trying to help..."
"But...how did you know what happened?" Dayna asked.
"Well, in the first place, I have to tell you something very important. You have been granted a magic jewel, capable of many powers."
"What?! But...that's...impossible!"
"Trust me, I am telling you the truth. The reason Fiona's after you is because she wants that jewel."

Amika thought she might go insane like the girl had appeared to in a moment. Jewels? Fiona? What? She might even see her mother as well... Amika suddenly choked back a sob as her last memory of her mother came suddenly back to mind. The woman was lying on the floor at her daughter's feet, cut down by a rioter's sword.
'What is going on? Can I do anything to help? Standing around watching is not one of my strong points.'

"There is something that Dayna has to help achieve, but I have explain a bit more before telling you about it, or else you wouldn't know a thing I'm talking about." Faiy said to Amika. She turned back to Dayna.
"There are 9 other people that were granted with a jewel, some knowing it, some not. I happen to have one, and so do a couple close friends of mine."
Dayna nodded, still not very sure this was true. "And how did Fiona know I had a jewel? How did she even know ABOUT the jewels?" she asked.
"She probably found an ancient book mentionning them. Many other people are after the jewels, not only Fiona."
"If they want it, why can't I just let them take it? I don't care..."
"That would kill you, Dayna. The ones born with a jewel inside of them cannot live without it. It would be like living without a lung, or without your heart."
Dayna sighed. So she had to live with people after her life because of some stupid jewel.
"But recently," Faiy continued. "more and more people have been learning about the jewels and wanting them. My family has been noticing, and we are starting to be worried, for if it keeps on going like this, the world is going to become a place where killing and war takes place all the time, only because of the jewels.
We asked a scribe for help, and he told us he knew about a prophecy he knew of. I can't remember it exactly, but it talked about a temple, where when all jewel posessors were united, the magical gems could be taken out of their posessors and sealed forever, bringing peace to the world again. But for this, we need the ancient vase of Lady Mahari, which we discovered was broken, and the pieces were scattered all over. That is why we need your help, and the help of your friends, Dayna. We must find all the broken pieces of the vase, find all the jewel posessors and bring them to the sacred temple."
"Okay, but are you sure they," she pointed to her friends, "have to help? I think Andra was about to leave or something, I wouldn't want her to have to stay here just because of me..."

"Eh...right..." Dayna muttered.
"Anyways, we better go. I'll present you to some people of the village when we get there." Faiy continued.
