[T_____T]
Okay, I clearly can't enter the Poetry Competition for a while. xD If you don't know what I'm talking about... Wow. [o.o]
Anyways, I don't want this thread to die (obviously), so I thought I might as well mimic the Storytelling Competition thread and ask: What's the best prize you've ever gotten?
Me: Mortog. 800K on the TP. Would've put me back at 3,000K. What'd I do with it? Gave it to my friend to help start her Adoption Agency. xDDDD She sold it for a Paint Brush, Lab Map Pieces and about 200K, I think. Pretty good. :3

From the PC, I've only won twice. a Khonsu. ...Is it just me, or did the poems not update, despite the NF?

I think it's just a little delay, I got a winning neomail but I'm not sure if that means I'm in, or if it's a glitch. I didn't use the NP or prize, just in case.
Best prize I ever got from Poetry is my trophy! -Hugs it-
But money wise, the Alstaf Poogle card.

Like they said, though, the site's been glitchy lately, so we'll just have to wait and see. Trophies last forever. <3 xDDD Okay, that's a bad saying. Edit: Looks like they updated!

What's the best prize you've ever gotten? [shadow=purple,left,300]I only won once. XDDDDD But I think I got a paint brush, which is still in my SDB, methinks. In fact, I still remember that the only poem I had was on page 749. So right now, I'm thinking of entering a new poem. ^^;;;[/shadow]

Nice time for it too, with Grey and Krawk coming up this week, if I'm not mistaken!

Aside the restless serenade of a fountain Stands a shy Acara in a pink dress Clutching a white glass of something sour In trembling, red-splotched deathly fingers
Bravely, she makes to greet the stiff figures Who impolitely walk on by Stiff collars starched to the sky Twinkle of self-importance in their
Baby-blue opal eyes Because your know their ego Is even taller that those stiff collars That everybody somehow regards so highly
Perhaps only because they’re supposed to And they are what it deemed to be In fashion now Though (and she laughs) Fyora knows why
And so it passes that After thirty minutes of icy solitude The Acara slinks away Into the green-scented night
And she plays among the green-scented things Where all is forever golden Hmm... not my best but it still has some good qualities. Bit of unintentional rhyme in there too I'm really liking writing poetry, though Probably even a little more than prose-writing It gets what your trying to say across well, without as much effort.

Oh, Puffin, that's really pretty. You should be proud! From Fungus to Fabulous!
Wary, weary did he wander, O'er boulder's rotund curve. Tiny form tensed in such wonder, Awe held firm in every nerve.
Did he dare make such a journey? Would he find what he did seek? A mystic cave that few could enter, Yet he wandered, tired and meek.
From humble petpet grew ambition, Krawk sought to be something more. Hearing tales of magic fungus, Thoughts did form and hopes would soar.
Would one bite transform his image? Would it change his life for good? Krawk vowed to search the island shores, A feat itself, he understood.
Accidentally did he stumble, Into cave's most shadowed way. Tiny claws gripped through the moss, Heart held trembling fear at bay.
As fable told it, fungus grew, Upon each damp and dripping wall. He stepped forth, tasting it at once, He had come this far, afterall.
One bite led to a transformation, Petpet no longer quite as small! From fungus came form fabulous, A full grown Krawk now, standing tall!

... I didn't get in.
Schefflera, Sky, you did, though. Scarvogue did too, I think, but I'm not sure if she has an account here.
