Ruevian, meanwhile, was sitting cross-legged in her colorful prison, thinking with her chin in her hand. She was fairly certain that, with the proper spell, she could dispell her prison...the elements that made up the encasing had no dark magic, which could be used to her advantage. However, there was a risk that the spell Ruevian had in mind might also backfire...into her face.
Cracking her neck, Ruevian folded her arms and waited, deciding to bide her time until the proper moment.

After about half an hour, Fyora entered the room.
"What have you found this time?"
I briefly explained how I had felt a magical disturbance all the way from my home on the summit of Terror Mountain, and how I had traced it to a certain Neohome, and met this Aisha.
"And where is this Aisha now?"
"Inside this," I told her, holding up the Rainbow Swirly Thing.
Fyora raised her eyebrows. "If I'm not mistaken, that is the same Rainbow Swirly Thing I gave to your brother for copying down a very rare spellbook for me. How'd you get your hands on it?"
I shrugged. "Leo lets me wear it when i go out for my magic-finding missions. Shall I take her out?"
"Yes, please do."
I cast the spell, and what looked like a silver marble exited the amulet, growing back to full size.
"Enjoy your stay?"

Ruevian remained on the floor, arms and legs crossed. "Your interior decorating skills are sorely lacking," she replied, her red eyes flicking around the room.
She finally noticed Fyora and smirked.

"Rooms of Dark Magic Disabling aren't made for comfort," I told her. "Try any of your little tricks in here, and they'll come right back to slap you in the face. Literally," I said, remembering the time I had been arrested for unauthorized use of magic and put in a Magic Disabling room. In one of those, only Fyora could cast a spell. If anyone else tried, their spells would take on form and literally slap them in the face.

"Oh, I wouldn't dream of it," Ruevian replied sweetly, rising to her feet. She gave a long, mocking bow to Fyora, sneering.
"And what do I owe the honor of a private audience with the queen?"

"Cut the attitude, Aisha," I snapped at her.
"You are here for unregistered use of magic," Fyora informed her after it was clear I would not be saying anthing else. "Large amounts of magic have been coming from the area you live in, and you do not seem to have a permit for macic use."

Ruevian promptly ignored the big-headed zafara. "Permit, eh?" Highly amused, she folded her arms behind her head, closing one eye. "Call me crazy, but never heard of that little clause. But, even if I had, I highly doubt you'd let me practice my kind of magic..."
Smirking, Ruevian opened both eyes. "I know how you feel about us...dark magic folk."

"Dark magic is permitted, but it is regulated," Fyora said. "You use too much, you're in trouble. If you use any without a permit, you're in prison. Which is why I advise you to get one as soon as possible and be on your way."

Ruevian tilted her head to one side, silent as she glared at Fyora, all traces of amusement gone. For a moment, it seemed she was stupid enough to fight a battle she had no way of winning, but then Ruevian bowed.
When she straightened, her red eyes were emotionless, though the cocky smirk was back on her face. "I'll get right on that...your Majesty."

Fyora glared at the aisha a bit.
"You can get a license at the front desk," she said coldly and dissappeared.
"You know, most people don't make it out of here with attitude like that," I commented. "Oh, and you'll have to get back in my jewel if you want to get out of here, you know. A Faerie and a Neopet came in here, a Faerie and a Neopet can exit here," I said in a conversational tone. She didn't really have to, but I hated pets who commented on my looks.
Untying my bandana, I put it into the amulet, using a similar spell I had for Ruevian to get it in, then held my paw holding the Rainbow Swirly Thing towards her.
"Now, or a bit later?" I asked, tilting my head a bit to the left. I wanted to see her reaction to my right eye.

((Hee hee hee...roostery. Love the language filters.))
At first, Ruevian said nothing. Rooted to the spot, she continued to stare at the place Fyora had just been. taking the Hoover tour faeries...! If Balthazar can catch them...so can I.
She then glanced over her shoulder at the zafara, and raised an eyebrow. "Aww, so eager for me to leave? And here I thought we were bonding." She turned and walked towards her without much of a reaction. After all, Ruevian hung out in the Haunted Woods...she had seen much more bizarre things.
"Well, let's get this over with, mmm? Though, I must say, you need some furniture in that thing."

{Just noticed something in my profile... forgot to mention something... Well, Gorastah's got a scar across her right eye, and usually keeps a silver-white bandana over the right side of her face. She's blind in that eye.}
I scowled. "If it's so boring in there, than you can play with my bandana. Now, I'll just bring you to the front desk so you can get a license."
I cast the spell, and walked out of the room, stopping at the front desk and letting her out, as well as getting rid of the bubble.
"This Aisha needs a license for magic," I told the Gelert.

"Hey there, sweetheart," Ruevian said to the Gelert, leaning on the desk. "You heard my angelic little keeper. I need apparently need a liscense, or the faeries will hurt this bad little girl."

"Dark magic, I suppose," said the Gelert without reacting to her little display. "Name?" asked the gelert. "Area of residence? Adress? Name of owner? Names of siblings? Aptitude of magic?"

Ruevian sighed, glancing around the room, and replied in an equally monontone voice.
"Ruevian, Neopia Central, 121895 Winding Wood Drive, Inyuchan, Klofen, Advanced Shadow Magic and Illusion."
