Halo RPG

This RP is based on the almighty videogame series Halo.

Rules: No magic or anything of the like. This is Earth in the future (details later).

You cant be Master Chief, Cortana, etc. etc.

If you choose to be a Covenant, you CANNOT be a good covenant.

If you choose to be a Flood (I dont know why you would be), you cant have thoughts. You must describe what you are doing, but besides that, there isnt much you can do, what with flood being brainless ifected aliens.

NO god-moding, AT ALL.

Keep in mind Earth is losing nad has EXTREMELY limited supplies, so you wont be able to have too many rare techno-thingies.

Covenant Species:

Grunt ( halo.bungie.net/images/site/halo/gallery/stills/still_19.jpg ): Approx 5-6 feet, can speak English, weakest of all Covenant forces and very easily fright4ened, but tends to brag and get excited easily.

Elite ( halo.bungie.net/images/site/halo/gallery/stills/still_16.jpg ): Most difficult to defeat Covenant. Around seven feet tall, carries all types of Covenant weapons except for plasma pisto and plasma rocket, the only covenant that uses vehicles.

Hunters ( halo.bungie.net/images/site/halo/gallery/stills/still_21.jpg ): 12 feet tall stabding upright, 7 feet when in attack position. Thay have indestructible armor all over their bofies, including a large shiled on their arm which is also used in combat. ALWAYS carries plasma rocket which is hused onto arm of armor. Only the short neck, middle (which is usually protected by shield) and back are vulnerable to attack. If a bullet is shot into the gun barrel that, too, can kill a Hunter. It is stronger than an elite but has the stamina of a Grunt.

Jackals ( halo.bungie.net/images/site/halo/screenshots/scrn_020.jpg ): As weak as Grunts, however Jackals have plasma shields which can only be damaged by Covenant weapons, and is so large that a jackal holding the shield covers it's whole body, apart from two notches which bullets are shot through. Jackals are exceedingly stealthy.

The next two Covenant appear in halo 2 and I am improvising on what their abilities are.

Brute ( halo.bungie.net/images/site/halo/concept/halo2/sketch_071.jpg ): Think of a half-gorilla half- rhino in armor and a big gun. That'd be a Brute. Roughly the size of an elite, they are stupider and rush enemies. They have a little more stamina, but are easier to kill do to their idiotic nature.

Prophets ( halo.bungie.net/images/site/halo/concept/halo2/sketch_072.jpg ): Political,economic, AND religious leaders of the unified alien races know as the Covenant, prophets are extremely weak but are the most importan covenant creatures.

Flood Species:
Infection form ( halo.bungie.net/images/site/halo/concept/sketch_049.jpg ): Simialr to a hybrid spider and and squid, they attack in swarms (hence their name), and infest a host, which is any living creature.

Carrier form ( halo.bungie.net/images/site/halo/concept/sketch_050.jpg ): Walks around mindlessly, and throws itself at the feet of another creture and explode releasing infection forms. It explodes also when shot.

Battle form ( halo.bungie.net/images/site/halo/concept/sketch_051.jpg ) ( halo.bungie.net/images/site/halo/concept/sketch_052.jpg ): It has two battle types, infecxted human and infected covenant. The human forms are not as fast as the covenant forms, nor as strong, but atttack in the same basic way. Covenant form are large and killing machines, with more tamina than human form. In both cases, shootin off limbs and even the head do not afffect it - even when it is down, it my get up for a second whopping. Shot guns are instant death for these beings.

Humans:
Marines: Earth's elite, they fight in the struglle against the covenant.

Spartan IIs: Master Chief ( halo.bungie.net/images/site/halo/screenshots/scrn_135.jpg ) is the only of these fully augmented Marines, who are the ultimate weapon against Covenant. MC demonstrated this by destroying Halo.

Forerunners: The Forerunners built the Halo stuctures to contain and destroy the flood. They left behind the Sentinel robots, flying lasers that were designed to attack Flood, and The Monitor, a small robot similar to a cube with a big ble light. He calls himself 343 Guilty Spark.

Name: Brandon
Age: 13
Appearance: Unruly dark hair, filthy body covered in soot and dirt, along with battle wounds. His brown eyes shine hatred for Covenant, and pity towards other humans.
Summary: After his house was destroyed by a gang of Elites, Brandon searched and searched but foud no remains of his family. Enraged, he set out to kill any Covenant he ever saw again, not considering the army because he did not care for discipline, or teamwork, just death to Covenant.


Brandon carried an assault rifle over his shoulder.

The next time he saw a Grunt, he would mow it down.

If he saw an Elite, he'd blow it up.

Heck, he'd kill ANY Covenant that came his way.

His fists clenched tighter. Covenant had destroyed his home, his life... and now he would destroy them.
