(In all honesty, I picked all the cards which I liked effect-wise, and slapped a deck together. I guess it's got some good combos xD. And yeah, I keep a card list open too .) Draw: [dice=30] I play Killix as my Active Ally. I use Poison Cloud, targeting Tabloid Town Zombie! Poison Cloud Target any Ally in play. The target is now poisoned. Ughh... my head feels funny... I also attack Tabloid Town Zombie with Thwack! Sam: - 3 KO's: Killix - (W) - 7/7 Tamia Wendfeld - (E) - 5/5 Patjade - 5/5 Spoon - 2 KO's: Tabloid Town Zombie - (D)(D) - 3/5 {Poisoned}Midknight - Shadow Mage - 7/7 [rand=5876153511926532051212093792855747216607769951224952684604562819]

I draw a card
[dice=30]
Tabloid Town Zombie takes 1 damage from poison.
I attach an Earth Energy to Midknight - Shadow Mage.
I retreat Tabloid Town Zombie, returning the two Dark Energies to the deck, and make Midknight - Shadow Mage my active.
Sam: - 3 KO's: Killix - (W) - 7/7 Tamia Wendfeld - (E) - 5/5 Patjade - 5/5
Spoon - 2 KO's: Midknight - Shadow Mage - (E) - 7/7 Tabloid Town Zombie - 2/5 {Poisoned}[rand=467367704694206855751406681125960608691513328699643591103289724564]

I draw:
[dice=30] *becomes 6*
There's nothing I can do but attack Midknight - Shadow Mage with Thwack.
Sam - 3 KO's: Killix - (W) - 7/7 Tamia Wendfeld - (E) - 5/5 Patjade - 5/5
Spoon - 2 KO's: Midknight - Shadow Mage - (E) - 5/7 Tabloid Town Zombie - 2/5 {Poisoned} [rand=1342142224311828673843745095655329182440056465566927010087762028]

I draw a card
[dice=30] *goes to 18*
I attach an Earth Energy to Midknight.
I attack with Cutlass Slash.
Darkness Falls check
[dice=6]
No additional damage.
Killix takes 3 damage
Sam - 3 KO's: Killix - (W) - 4/7 Tamia Wendfeld - (E) - 5/5 Patjade - 5/5

(So I guess that means that if an Ally is benched, Poison no longer affects it...)
Draw:
[dice=30] *becomes 16*
More strategic play!
Using Patjade's ability, I retreat Killix for one Water Energy. I make Tamia Wendfeld my Active Ally
I also attach an Earth Energy to Tamia.
I use Slingshot and attack Midknight. He takes 4 damage.
Sam - 3 KO's: Tamia Wendfeld - (E)(E) - 5/5 Killix - 4/7 Patjade - 5/5
Spoon - 2 KO's: Midknight - Shadow Mage - (E)(E) - 1/7 Tabloid Town Zombie - 2/5 {Poisoned} [rand=4796967757865786626371439918875694247909229248762136104179238900542]

(Yep. It's one of those things that isn't included in the main tutorial, but crops up in play every now and them. Rider confirms that here) [dice=30] *goes to 8* Er... there's not much I can do here. I attack with Cutlass Slash. [dice=6] No additional damage. Tamia takes 3 damage. Sam - 3 KO's: Tamia Wendfeld - (E)(E) - 2/5 Killix - 4/7 Patjade - 5/5 Spoon - 2 KO's: Midknight - Shadow Mage - (E)(E) - 1/7 Tabloid Town Zombie - 2/5 {Poisoned}[rand=27987039250893797718360934605284835971055595801474442275089285258]

It does mean you win. *shakes hands* That was an incredible duel on your part - you have one of the strongest decks I've seen, and exceptional strategy along with it. It was a pleasure to play against you, and I'd love to do it again sometime, when we've both had a few more duels and a bit more experience.

Thanks for the compliments, and you were an awesome opponent. *accepts handshake* You had a great deck, and played it like a true duelist. I'm definitely up for a rematch after a few more duels . If you're joined in the Mysterious Manor Tournament (I believe you are), we may end up seeded against each other there... But good luck to you! You were an awesome opponent!

xD Sam, had you registered to become a ranked player much earlier, you would've dented much of Spoon's deck strength. But I'll have to agree with him that you've played exceptionally today. I recommend you join the Manor Tournament. Looking at your battle, you might have a bigger chance to win than you think.

Thanks for the compliments. This has been a great battle, and I think it kind of taught me how to play this game well. Thanks again, Spoon, for the wonderful match. I have joined, and I plan to win. Because I was unranked when I won the last two battles I did, I have a feeling I may just fly under the radar .

Well, if you don't mind, I'd like to treat this as a ranked match - so you get your 50 shinies and a win against a highly-ranked deck. I'm not sure if you can do that, Vyt, but if Sam doesn't mind, I'd really like it if this was considered as a win for Sam in the rankings - otherwise it's a massive shame.

As of now, your deck strength is the same as Sam's. And just to be clear, any player (ranked or not) still get the full 50 shinies for winning a match.
