Cyra walked to the mirror once more and opened her mouth to talk, but changed her mind. she kept the question to herself, but following her instincts, asked something else she wanted to know about.
"Is Mother okay? How is Father doing?"
The mirror smiled and winked at Cyra. "Wise choice, young lady." Cyra smiled, happy she never asked what she had considered a minute ago. The mirror showed her parents happy in their home, having dinner with the neighbours. a picture of her was hanging on the wall, and a fresh yellow rose had been attached to the frame. Yellow roses were her favourite flowers.
Cyra smiled at her parents' happiness and thanked the mirror. The man's face faded and the mirror went back to reflection the room. Then she left the cottage and followed Shoni to the Sunshine Mountain.

"Sunshine Mountain, Sunshine Mountain," Shoni murmured, slowing Apollith. "Sunshine Mountain...." She sighed. "Okay. Well, Sunshine Mountain is...you see anything? Oy, I'm rather tired...yet I know I'll never be able to get to sleep. Sunshine Mountain...."
She muttered this all rather to herself.

Cyra noticed the tired look in Shoni's face. "Do you want to stop? We can rest over there, at the mountain's base. It will take us only a couple of hours to get there, and I heard the place was safe." OOC: I am grounded... And that means no internet for a week... THE HORROR so, I probably won't be posting over that period of time. I know I'm posting now, but it were special circumstances... Maybe I'll sneak in, but don't count on it. Sorry about any unconveniences...

"Well, I won't be able to sleep, but rest is good...rest is very good." Shoni smiled weakly. "Maybe for a little bit."

OOC: Sorry to hear that! Don't worry, Tylvanias can't die while she's frozen, invulnerable or no. She may be EXTREAMLY bored, but....

And so, the two women stopped to rest at the base of the mountain. They knew there were Orcs around, but the landscape was too beautiful, the hunger was too strong, and the sleep was beggining to take control. Soon Cyra was asleep, while Shoni laid down and rested as well. OOC: Rishyi, sure! Will you be an Orc or a new traveller? OOC2: Don't tell my Mom I posted this...

Shoni attempted at sleep, but at her failure, she looked up at the swirling firmament. She soon found herself having strange visions of her family and village; they all were going about their daily lives, and suddenly, Shoni saw it: Sunshine Mountain.
There was a mountain right outside the thick forest that embraced Tarensdale on one side. It had always had a halo of gold enshrouding its peak, and Shoni's village had always called the mountain "Liste Rinta," which was their way of saying "Golden Ice." Shoni had always known it as Liste Rinta, but something told her that it was Sunshine Mountain as well.
Suddenly, she bolted up and realized that she had finally conquered slumber. She had dreamed of Liste Rinta being Sunshine Mountain. The problem was if that dream was true or whether it was merely the fact that she had seen her family through the mirror and looked for Sunshine Mountain on the same day.
Shoni wanted to use her Zirae* to find out, but there was no way that her weary body could let her. She sighed inwardly, then lowered herself back to the ground. Maybe she could get some more sleep....

Meanwhile...
Tylvanias, sitting in Cyra's room, unmobile, still had something going on. Ahead of her, she saw a door, a wooden door. If only she could just go up, walk through the door, and help her friends, but then again, the quest is for her. If she could, she would sigh. In her mind, thoughts were raging through her head.
Are my friends safe? How are they now? What do they know of the secret path? Will they find Cloud city?...
Tylvanias could only do one thing, wait and hope.
Another Meanwhile...
Celandra was sitting in a chair in her home, humming a beautiful tune. She was a loner, and anyone who wasn't invited was an intruder. The only thing that was her companion was her little bird, but no one knows what kind. It may be a pheonix, but it was blue. Suddenly, Celandra heard a click that made her jump, interupting her song. She ran to the door and looked outside the window. No one was there. She desperately tried to open the door, but no luck. She was trapped in her own home.

Cyra was very quick to fall asleep - she could fall asleep anywhere, anytime, with light, with no light, with noise and with no noise, and she didn't usually wake up with disturbing noises - not even very loud disturbing noises. But that night, something made her wake up to the sound of steps. She stood up, alert, and looked around. It was a dark night, but she could make out the shapes of things around her. Shoni was by her, and she seemed to have heard the steps, as well. The first thought that came to Cyra's mind were Orcs and the mirror's recommendations and warnings. "Let's hope this doesn't mean trouble..." Cyra whispered to Shoni as she stood up and looked around for anythings that might have the hability to walk. And then they saw it: an Orc camping. Just behind the line of oaks to the left. A shadow walked swiftly through it, heading for the camping. It was an Orc. The Orcs were fairly noisy, eating barbaricaly around a fire. Cyra shudered when she realised what they were eating - it smelt like flesh, of an intelligent creature, most definitly. Shoni and Cyra hid behind a big oak and watched them, in hopes of not being caught. OOC: Again, sorry it took me long to post, but I'm grounded - again. This time, however, I grounded myself from the computer, not Mom. I had a D+ in a chemistry test... And so... Yeah, I have to spend less time at the computer and more time studying... But I am not gonna let this RP die - It's getting interesting ;D P.S. - Rishiy, will we find you at this camping?

OOC: Yep....ok, here I am.
Firlion looked up, drowsy from the somke. He was lashed tightly to a pole. The orks had held him captive.
On dicovering the rebel to his race they had beaten him almost to death, then hauled up onto the wagons and carried on. They were waiting to sacrafice him to the gods.
Suddenly the wind changed. He looked up, picking upn a scent with his superhuman sences. The orcs around the fire all seemed to notice it too. They began looking aroun suspiciously.
"Help me." He whispered before going to sleep. Besides, they would soon be another motionless mound to add to the fire.

Shoni shuddered at the sight of the Orcs, wondering, as she always did when she saw Orcs, how they could have really come from Elves. As she watched, she whispered to Cyra, "What should we do? Something tells me not to approach them, but we've got no choice, really."
She quickly exhaled.
"Oh, and Cyra," she said suddenly, "I had a dream...there's this mountain outside the woods of Tarensdale, and we've always called it 'Liste Rinta,' meaning ''Golden Ice.' I dreamed that it was Sunshine Mountain...I don't know if it was the Zirlae that was talking or just my mixed up thoughts telling me nonsense. I figured I'd tell you, though."
Shoni quickly quieted as the loud Orcs quieted.

"Strange dream... Maybe... What if, by the kind gods, the mountain is actually the same and your village is right on the other side?" Cyra's smile widened and she winked at Shoni. "Lucky girl, you're close to home!"
But then she felt there was less noise coming from the Orcs camping. They seemed to be sensing something, smelling something. Cyra shudered. Was it possible that they had noticed their presence?

"Let's get farther away," Shoni whispered, jerking her head away from the Orcs. "Quietly, though...."
Stealthily, she crept to a tree farther away.
