WE ARE ALL GOING TO DIE OF SWINE FLU OH NOES! Don't joke about it, it came to New Zealand and directly to my university and there is a rumour that its come to the very Hall where I live. Scary stuff, man. D: Really? *feels stupid* I'm sorry. All I've heard so far here is the John Stewart version of the swine flu news. |

Had it been in winter, there'd be ten times as many people down with regular flu and consequently, ten times as much panic. |

All I've heard so far here is the John Stewart version of the swine flu news. *shrug* Don't feel bad, those affected have been taken to hospital but we had a Hall meeting about it this morning, it was kind of ironic, really, because there are 557 people living here and we all get called in this morning to listen to the Master of the Halls and he gave us advice on how to be safe with Swine Flu going around. One of those safety measures was not meeting in a big group. Go figure. |

It happened with Sars, Foot and Mouth, Mad Cow, Avian Flu and now this and anything that looks like the panic disease at the time is automatically treated like it is. |
