The commotion all happened rather quickly: the guard and the sailor running and yelling, the tripping and fumbling... and a stray Seti making its way towards the scene? The crafty Xweetok had to investigate. "Excuse me," he said curtly, nearly shoving past the green Gelert and scampered in the direction of the source of all the ruckus. He slowed his pace and lurked under the veranda of a supplies shop, milling about among the barrels of feed, rope, chairs, tools and wood. He picked up a fun little trinket: a tiny ship replica built in a glass bottle. Holding it up to the sunlight he peered into the glass and stared directly towards the Kyrii, Gelert, and--
"YEEF!" The Xweetok's paws fumbled and he nearly dropped the expensive decoration at the sight of the other Xwee dressed in scarlet. Hastily he returned the bottle to its rightful place when other shoppers looked up from their business and stared at him for making such a peculiar sound. Horrendously embarrassed, he stepped out into the street and simply stood there with his hands behinds his back as though waiting for someone. He meant to be there. He wasn't spying on anyone. Honest.

Sharillan just stood still, looking bewildered as she glanced at the two pets next to her. Either she was finally sleep-deprived enough to start imagining things as she walked around, or she had stumbled into something that she felt she had no business taking part of. Keeping her eyes cast to the ground to prevent anybody seeing them, she smiled politely at the Kyrii and Xweetok and said her goodbyes.
She strolled away, down the street. She was so fatigued she felt as if she could start crying at any moment, and she really needed to find some place to rest. Those two creatures were weird people.
Now, where was a secluded corner nobody would bother her in...?

Eve looked up as she heard an odd sound from a supplies shop nearby. It sounded like a squeal, but could easily be something else. She put the scroll back into her pocket. "I'm sorry, Lori," she apologized, "but I have to go."
Walking towards the shop, she spotted a Xweetok. He was well-dressed, had an air of finery about him... perhaps he would know where the odd sound came from. "Excuse me," she said, tapping him on the shoulder, "but do you know where that weird sound came from?"

Loranigh looked around, confused. She had the feeling that more people had noticed her than she wanted, and it made her blush furiously. At least noone had confronted her, that would have ruined the rest of the day's fun, and she probably would have had to leave. She knew that she should probably just throw that ring into the sea and forget it and her history. But she couldn't bring herself to do it. Whatever annoying titles were attached to it, it was also full of the memories of her friends. It had also gotten her out of a couple of dangerous scraps.
Suddenly, she saw an interesting sight. One lone Seti, floating towards her on the wind. Well, not exactly lone. It seemed to be being chased by an Ogrin. Interested and hoping to make herself inconspicuous once again, she walked towards it.

The Pirate Xweetok nearly leaped with fright when he saw the red Xweetok head in his direction. Frantically his eyes darted around, perhaps for a place to hide. But of course it was too late; she had spotted him. He'd have to come up with some backstory probably. Nobles... they always want to know each other's business. When she spoke to him, he only stared at her, both with worry and fascination. It took him a moment to realize she was done and had, in fact, asked a question of him. "Me? Oh, I mean. Uh, no, not me. That is, I, uh..." His fur bristled up uncomfortably and his black tail, straight as a two-by-four, twitched ferociously behind him.
In a failed attempt to calm down, he took his captain's hat off and tousled his hair--a move no noble would make, but for Ayye, it certainly was a bad habit and made him just a bit more comfortable. Clearing his throat, he puffed out his chest a little and finally responded in a deep voice, "Sorry, Miss, I wasn't paying much attention. The uh... the... the sun!" He exclaimed, pointing up to the big, yellow thing in the big blueish thing. At least that's how he felt about it. "The sun it... it can certainly drain a man of his senses."
He wanted to kick himself. Ayye, you idiot.

Smiling sweetly, Eve answered, "Well, that's all right. I'm sure it was nothing in the first place." She was about to say goodbye, but instead took a second look at the other Xweetok. He was sweating more than a Snorkle in a sauna--perhaps it was too much sun. "Would you like to come have a drink with me?" she asked. "It is quite hot, and I'm sure you're dying to get out of the sun..."
With that, she took his paw before he could say a word and began to lead him to the closest cafe.

Dash made eye contact with a Kyrii that was walking towards him and adjusted his course. She had noticed him, and looked kind. Maybe she had candy? He alighted on her shoulder.
'Do you have candy?' He asked, not that she could hear him and he didn't expect an answer anyway. He gripped the cloth and started lowering himself down to where the pockets usually were.
He could hear Summer coming up behind him, but her manners would stop her from simply grabbing him off the Kyrii. Dash snorted. Manners were a strange concept that he didn't see any use for.
