Vapor had been in the back of the group since the beginning. So many people made her nervous, and she couldn't stay close to Sarn and follow his lead. She could only watch helplessly as the unicorns fell and Candy was stabbed. Oh, no...Oh, oh, no. Vapor whispered, shuttering. It was no secret that Vapor was queasy around blood. Sarn! Vapor called out, hoping he heard. I think I have some Pheonix Down in my lair!
Not waiting for an answer, Vapor leapt into the air, flying away from the metalic tint of blood. A few minutes later, and she neared the part of the Tabloids with her hidden entrance. Landing, she threw open her trapdoor and ran through, into the dark earth. Praciticaly sprinting, she skid into the chamber that held her hoard. She pawed through piles of socks madly, collapsing towers.
It has to be... around here somewhere. She panted to herself. Ah! She stood up suddeny, triumphant. Vapor clutched a small wooden box to her chest, racing up back her tunnel to the surface. Not even pausing long enough to secure her door, Vapor took flight.
But when she made it back, the other 'bloiders were not where she left them. Vapor hovered in the air for a moment, cocking her head. Maybe... prehaps... they were a tad further north? Yes, yes, that was it. She prepared to head in that dirrection when a trickle of dread played across her neck. Vapor froze, panic fluttering in her gut.
She sensed magic- not dragon magic, closer to the aura that hung around some of the older artifacts in Mage Mannor. But darker. More sinister. It made the feral part of her want to run. Evil Melody. Vapor growled, and dove, following the sense that made her instincts scream to flee. ((Ugh, I have to start RPing on the BUISIEST DAYS. Not to mention I had to write this out three whole times because the laptop I was using kept deleting it. >_< *headdesk*))

Melody grabbed his arm and spun him around. He was on the verge of protesting when he saw what she was pointing at. A dark shadow was moving stealthily through the wreckage of a building, something dark clutched to its chest, wrapped in a cloak of midnight blue. Sarn's sharp eyes caught the glimmer of a malicious eye.
Without even thinking, he grabbed Melody and shot into the air, speeding for the evil one. From behind him and slightly to the right, he heard a feral snarl and something huge and green came hurtling pas them, battering them with its tailwind.
"Vapor!" Sarn cried to his lover. She was in a terrible rage, heading straight for Melody's evil twin and Sarn, burdened with the first, could not fly fast enough to reach the second before Vapor did.
He pulled his wings back and streamlined his body, going into a dive at breakneck speed. Just as they were about to collide with the ground, Sarn threw his wings wide, catching the wind like a parachute and slowing them down enough for him to deposit Melody on the ground a short way away.
Sarn, on the other hand, could not stop himself quickly enough. He struck the ground once, curled into a ball and struck it again before flipping several times, colliding with the side of a building and skidding to a stop, sprawled on the ground.
He heard noises arund him as his vision swam in and out of focus, becoming darker and more blurred. He hoped that he had got Melody close enough, that all this pain was worth it. His flight muscles felt as though they had been torn from his bones, having taken the full force of the wind in an attempt to slow himself. The rest of his body was just as sore, he could feel several broken ribs and hot sticky blood running down the back of his neck.
The noises grew louder, more frantic and Sarn struggled to keep a hold of conciousness as it slowly slipped away. Finally, he closed his eyes and let the darkness wash over him.

Attempting to follow Sarn and Melody, Drew found herself lost among a sea of trees. At first thinking it was from fatigue, she saw something moving, in the bushes a short distance away. Her pace quickened. Stopping and curiously turning her head, she now definitely saw something moving. Turning back around, she sprinted, her feet almost flying. She stopped to catch her breath, her lungs were on fire. Turning one last time, she almost screamed. One, no, two, strange spiked human like creatures seemed to be approaching from the distance. More and more were in the background, but, refusing to sit around and count, she turned and dashed away, and saw a figure lying on the ground. With golden wings.

Azzie let Nevar onto his feet hurriedly, not even bothering to slow down but swooping low enough that the man could jump from her grasp without being injured. She sensed the presence of something strong, likely the green thing Candy had spoken of, but she had other priorities. Hurrying toward her golden-winged comrade lying on the ground, a tear escaped her eye. She put her ear to his chest, and sighed with relief. He was still breathing. "Drew?" Azzie called frantically. "Vapor? Anyone?" She focused on blue, trying to send out a beam of its healing light, but her fear hindered her and all she could manage was a tiny, feeble ray of light, and it didn't last. It absorbed into her friend's head for thirty seconds before Azzie's worry overtook her, and she broke down crying. "Help, anybody!" she yelled.

Drew, still fleeing the creatures, saw Sarn on the ground, with Azzie trying to heal him. Still gasping for air, she walked over to attempt to help.

Melody could scream in frustration. Sarn was badly wounded for, what seemed like, nothing. Evil Melody quickly vanished before she could launch her first attack. Turning around as Drew walked over, something caught her eye. Humans? she thought, at first. They were giant, spiky, humanlike creatures, and Melody was pretty sure they did not want to become friends.

(Feel free to notice Chaos at any time.) Chaos looked at the people crowding around some injured,..thing. Why couldn't he have the attention, no, always the injured getting the attention. " Ladies and gentlemen, I'd like to introduce myself, I am Chaos." he bellowed very Joker-like. " And I'm like an explosion of fun." he said before pressing the detonator on a bomb that exploded, instantly destroying a nearby deserted bar.

Drew payed no attention to the ignorant person named Chaos. Healing Sarn was more important.

No one was paying attention!!! This frustrated Chaos. " Fine, have it your way." he took out his spiked hover board. He set it down and took to the air about fifteen feet above the group. He took out a large amount of explosives and began to toss them at nearby buildings and pathways, before setting them off. " How beatiful, I find this art kind of firey, yet subtle."

((You realize that if anyone even remotely wanted you to join, that we'd notice you, right? In that case, the plot is mostly planned out, so we don't need your little temper tantrums trying to hurt anyone, thanks.))

( Drew that was extremely rude. If I wasn't wanted, then it should say so in the first post or the title, that it was a private rp. I will not take this disrespect. And I'm not having a temper tantrum, Chaos is like that, he is the Joker, the Riddler and me combined, and the Joker likes attention, as does the Riddler.)

Azzie sighed with relief, glad that Drew had come to help heal Sarn. Her nerves were able to relax some, and Azzie was able to focus a small beam of blue light on Sarn's head. She was aware of Chaos exploding things in the background, and she wished she could calm him down. But right then, she knew that healing her injured friend was her top priority. She couldn't let her focus waver. Not even for a moment.

Vapor snarled long, elaborate oaths in a guttural tongue. Her fear boiled away to anger, and in her anger, she reverted to a language her clan had thrown away years ago in favor of telepathy. She sensed something terrible, a dark blot on the horizon. She shook her head violently, clutching the back of her skull, behind her horns. Something...something was wrong. Twisting madly in the air, she screamed it aloud. Something is wrong!
Rational thought was drowned in a savage reversion to fury and flight. She brushed past a flock of geese, blinded by their feathers. She dove down, letting gravity help her plummet to the abomination on the ground. The blot was close. Closer…closer…there! A golden blur rushed past her side.
Vapor!
Vapor blinked, confused. Sarn? She whispered, her anger dissipating like mist. After a moment, she realized why. The blot had vanished. What…what’s going on? She moaned to herself as her rational thought returned.
"Vapor? Anyone?"
Azzie? Vapor whipped her head around. Sarn! She screamed, spotting the limp gold pile of feathers on the ground with Drew and Azzie kneeling over him.

Melody stopped nervously staring at these spiked enemies and turned her attention to this person she had not met before, "Chaos". He seemed to be a person who enjoyed being center of attention, but Drew was busy at the moment trying to heal Sarn, so she wandered over to Chaos before he blew up the continent.
Chris, who had been trailing behind, immediatley noticed two things: Sarn was injured, and there was someone blowing things up.

((This is a public RP and I will have no one sniping at each other. The plot itself works best with as many people as possible and so long as Chaos doesn't kill anyone but NPC characters, he is most welcome. This should be rather amusing with him. ^_^))
Images and ideas chased each other around the darkness, random specks of light akin to stars. Everything was hazy and unclear, sensations and feelings that he could not identify.
Blue light. A rainbow. He began to feel things around him. The ground beneith him solidified and he heard voices. Some were calm, others wavered in panic.
Fear. He could smell terror in the air, a foulness, a blight. Something evil was near.
A hand on his shoulder and another on his chest, feeling his heart beat. Frighteningly large noises and angry voices and more shaking of the ground and heat and light.
He opened his eyes. Drew and Azzie were leaning over him, both looking very worried and Azzie had tears on her face. He caughed as the events before his collision reassembled themselves in his mind. He remembered why they were there, why they had been in such a hurry.
He sat up abruptly and immediately regretted the action. His wings still ached beyond measure and the muscles of his arms and chest were burning. "Evil Melody?" he asked. The look on Drew's face was answer enough.
A great feral roaring sound announced Vapor's arrival. Sarn remembered seeing her plummet towards Evil Melody but had lost sight of her after dropping Melody to the ground. He wrapped his arms around her neck, glad beyond measure that she was all right.
It was then that he noticed an explosion. He spun about quickly, tearning some more muscles and making him flinch in pain. He looked up and saw a figure framed against the late afternoon sky, randomly tossing explosives around. For the first time since meeting with Vapor in the early afternoon, Sarn laughed.
"That," he said, gesturing to the man known as Charos, "is what the Bloids are all about. Random explosions."
.....
Azzie let go of Nevar and made a beeline for Sarn's crippled body. He had little magic and none in the area of healing so he stayed well out of the way, nodding to Drew as she walked out of the forest and greeting Melody as she came towards him.
Chaos delt random damage to the surrounding area as Sarn woke up and stood. Nevar breathed a sigh of relief as the golden and white figure pointed at Chaos and laughed. He turned to Melody who stood near him and was about to speak to her regarding her evil twin when something caught his eye.
Dark figures were advancing under the shade of the trees. He gazed at them over Melody's shoulder, hoping that they were the rest of the Bloiders who would soon follow the first group. There were more then there should have been but the others were told to recruit as many Bloiders as they could on their way. Nevar hoped that there was an Admin or Mod among them.
The shadowed figures paused at the edges of the forest, still hidden by the dense foliage.
Why would they hesitate? he wondered to himself. The sun came out from behind a cloud and illuminated a spike from one of the figures. spike?
Dread settled on him as comprehension dawned. These were not Bloiders or even Forumers. They had seen him looking at them and seen his expression changed as he realised that they were not his friends. The figures began to charge on mass.
Nevar screamed at the others to ready their weapons as he drew his own kunai, gaping in horror at the enemy with whom he was now engaged.
They were humanoid in shape but the similarities ended their. Their skin was pure white and their eyes were wholly black, bulging out of sockets too small for them. They had no ears, only small holes in the sides of their heads and horns protruded from what could only be described as an exo-skeleton at regular intervals down their arms, legs and spines and also across their shoulders. Their heads remained clear of horns but were covered in the same skeletal shell as were their chests, thighs and forearms.
Their hands were oddly elongated with three fingers and a thumb and their fingertips were shaped into little points. They seemed to glide rather then walk and their weapons were large club-like objects that they wielded with frightening efficiency.
Nevar slashed at them with his kunai but made little more then scratches on their hard skeletons until, quite by chance, he struck the first one in its eye. The creature howled evilly, stumbling backwards and clutched at its punctured eye which was leaking a black liquid. The creature gave an odd hiccuping noise and then crumpled to the ground.
"Their eyes!" Nevar screamed at the group who were fighting desperately, "stab them in their eyes!"
.....
It took Sarn's fuzzled brain slightly longer to process what was happening. The horrible spiked creatures were attacking his friends who fought desperately for their lives. Two advanced towards him, floating over the rubble and yet more were pouring out of the depths of the forest. There were hundreds of them.
He heard Nevar's scream, pulled an arrow from his quiver and lunged at the first of the two. It gurgled at him before it fell and he dealt to the second one swiftly, letting it crumple on top of its comrade.
He remembered Chaos, floating above the conflict and yelled up to him.
"Throw some explosive at the forest!" he screamed, hoping that Chaos had heard and then spread his wings, attempting to fly. He hovered for only a moment before his exhausted flight muscles gave out entirely. He realised as he picked himself up and again, that he would have to rely on his legs, at least until his wings were healed.

((Sorry about earlier, Cyborg, and sorry about the confusion, I made a post before I saw Sarn's edited one.. =/ )) Drew was quite suprised as to what had been happening; Sarn got up and was amused by Chaos's explosions, Melody was going to say hello, when suddenly, the creatures she had been fleeing from came to attack. Melody did not bother to take out her longsword, she took one of her bombs and threw it with all her strength toward the creatures, making sure none of her friends would be caught in the explosion. The creatures proved to be quite strong, a few went down from the explosion, but saying 'there are hundreds' is an understatement. Now taking out her sword, she noticed Nevar stab one of the creatures in the eye, which did great damage to it. Following Nevar's lead, she stabbed an oncoming creature in it's bulging eye. It emitted a startling shreiking noise, like nails running down a chalkboard, as it's hand covered it's eye, oozing a strange blood. It dropped to the ground, still screaming.
