Hmm... so the soup is turning the drinkers faerie instead of whatever Dr. Sloth had in mind? Interesting development indeed!

Way to go Scheff! Another win in the same week! I really enjoyed that part. Too bad you're now 'banned' from winning until next week's contest.

I'm half expecting somebody to make it temporary, but I rather liked the idea of there being some interesting side effects to brewing a Transmogrification Potion in the Soup Faerie's equipment. And I think even if it doesn't get changed, it leaves plenty of remaining conflict for the second half of the story... though to be perfectly honest, I was sort of expecting the editor to decide it wasn't really a workable development. It was just too much fun to pass up. Edit: And *blush* thanks, Yuka. I'll just sit back and watch the rest of you write now, how's that?

There is certainly some consternation among Sloth's forces at the moment, and not just because their leader has dressed up in cardboard wings and lipstick and is insisting they address him as "Madam." Incidentally, Nut, I love your icon/caption.

I think I'm just going to go to town with this whole spontaneous combustion thing.

Darn, not one of ours. I feel sorry for the dark faerie. She is having a rough day. ...So is the breathing table?

Okay, it just seems really wierd to me that Sloth doesn't seem to care about the fact that his potions are not working right. I highly doubt he intended to turn Neopia into faeries, but he just dismissed the Grundo who came to warn him. *Shrugs*

That puzzled me too. Possibly she's going for the idea that he never listens to his subordinates, or is very concerned with preserving secrecy (though you'd think he could just figure on, ah, silencing one little Xweetok, so I doubt that's it), or... maybe it's the potion fumes.

Yeah, my entry had more of a "silencing the Xweetok" thing. But apparently that's not the preferred idea. But it fun to write, haha.

I think at this point I'd go with the potion fumes, myself, but it's possible I resort to that explanation too easily.

We'll see if she likes it.
