Here we go again... this really crept up on me this year! I've decided to do a series of short stories tied together with the same characters and themes this year. It came from a short story idea I had for the NT about how young faeries develop their magic.
There are a group of main characters in the stories:
(Once they've got their own story they'll be italicised)
Persephone - 12 year old faerie - light brown hair, greeny-grey eyes, white wings, no sign of what sort of faerie she'll be yet. b. 14/2/96
Freya - 5 year old faerie - the faerie queen's ward. Very sweet little girl. Black hair and big green eyes. b. 5/7/03
Isabella - light faerie - has the blond hair, the yellow shining wings and the golden eyes. Tall and graceful. The oldest in their class. b. 1/9/95
Poppy - starting to show signs of earth faerie - wings taking on a brownish tinge and hair going green - she thinks it's the wrong way around. b. 25/12/95
Ginevra - might be leaning towards being a fire faerie. Has a brown hair that's showing tinges of red and her wings are already brown. She hopes they're going to go orange or red because she'd love to be a fire faerie. Dark skin, chocolate brown eyes b. 28/10/95
Layla - no sign of what sort of faerie she'll be yet. Has blue-grey eyes, clear white wings and dark blonde hair. Youngest in the class. b. 19/8/96
Columbine - dark faerie - black hair with a streak of dark purple, green wings, green eyes, purple clothes, and loves the night. b. 2/9/95
Lavendar - earth faerie - brown hair, lavendar eyes, pale brown/cream wings.
Lily - water faerie, blue hair, blue eyes, greeny-blue wings
Queen Ariana - the faerie queen
Saphellia - Persephone's mother, air faerie
Other characters I might develop later:
Tia, Mia and Leah - sisters
Mia - the oldest - night faerie - purple hair, deep blue eyes, inky black wings
Tia - ice faerie - white hair, blue eyes, blue wings
Leah - light faerie - blonde, pale yellow wings, hazel eyes
Grace - sun faerie
Chloe - wind faerie
Jasmine - flower faerie, makes perfume from the flowers and has a swarm of trained pet butterflies.
Savannah - desert faerie
Brooke - earth faerie
Maya - fire faerie
Gabriella - light faerie
