The poor Fourth Wall didn’t like being broken. And it’s likely to do so several times over the course of November, too, what with all the no doubt frustrated novel writers out there. Such is the tragic life of being the Fourth Wall.

PFA's novels, at least, seem to be tending toward Fourth Wall breakage at about this point. XD; 43K MORE WORDS IS A LOT OF WORDS.

The cat came back to slink around the fire amidst the wafting smells of roasting flesh, perhaps carrying in its feline mind a dreamy, fantastical memory of the days when its ancestors had quested for their own meat and blood in the wild, untamed and untouched by human hand.

I love taking random excursions into the not-so-important and writing weird, purple-prose, distracting sentences like this for no good reason X) it's just fun.

French never really was her best subject, but she loved the language and the culture, despite her lack of ability to retain any information on it.

Rae doesn't really like French class, and she's about to hate it even more in the near future. x3 I'm so mean.

The wind blew once more, ruffling their robes, and they kept walking towards the tall gates. Thought not nearly as tall as Eden's, they both knew there was no climbing inside--or back out again--this time, and when a lantern was struck and a cloud of light fell over them, horripilation--goose flesh--covered their skin as their hair stood on end and they stopped where they stood.

Thank god for run-on sentences!
