((okay, I guess I'd better make it official, I'm dropping out. ^^; I'd be lying if I said I had no time for this, but I've lost interest and all my writing lately is for Asylum or my novel... so yeah. Sorry guys. ^^; ))

"Wow. What do you think happened here?"
"I'm not sure, but I doubt this was all the doing of those creatures running around."
"No, those dogs don't have the destructive power to do this. Whatever it was was tougher." Seeing the bullet holes in the steps, Axl added "And had a gun."
"A gun?" Cinnamon inquired. "Do you think it could have been those cyborgs?"
"Could be," Axl replied. He cautiously walked toward the building, eventually making his way to the door, and looking in. "Woah… Well, no one's here now."

"Woah… Well, no one's here now."
"How can you be sure of that?" asked Tosh. Owen stood with Larissa, keeping a close eye on her to make sure she was alright.
Jack wished his Vortex Manipulator was still in working order, it's sensors would have been of use, but the Doctor had disabled it and Jack knew better then to ask for it to be enabled again, particularly at a time like this. He took a breath and held it for no other reason then it made him feel better.
He stepped through the doors and into the darkness beyond, letting his eyes adjust. He felt around at his belt for a torch and then noticed a figure behind him, framed by the daylight. Jack took the object being offered him and turned the light on, letting its beam illuminate Gwen's face.
"Thought you'd want one," she said simply and then stepped past him with another light, examining the complex.
The room they had entered appeared to have once been in frequent use. There were numerous benches and wooden chairs stacked up against the walls as well as some sort of equiptment that Jack didn't recognise but which looked like a projector of sorts. There were two other doors that could be seen parallel to each other and a stone staircase in the far corner, though Jack couldn't see anything else.
He began to worry about hidden doors and traps and he let those ideas take over. His mind began to panic but he fought to regain control and subdued the ideas. No one else is here, he told himself firmly.
Everything was dusty, broken or both and, in some places, dried blood could be seen.
"This place must have been abandoned a while ago." Jack nodded at Gwen who raised her weapon and advanced toward the staircase, brushing away cobwebs as she went.

As Gwen walked towards the stairs, something falls off one of the benchs and hit the ground with a papery thwap. ((I'm assuming here that somebody goes over to look at what fell down.)) It's a book. A folded map has been placed between the pages. The book appears to be a spiral bound notebook. Most of the pages are completely ruined, but the last several paragraphs are still readable. 1st entry We've had reports of an odd group of people near the eastern part of the forest. We sent a police officer to check up on them.
2nd entry Several more reports are coming in, in various areas on the edges of town. They're in somewhat evenly space intervals, almost as if they're surrounding us. Several more officers went out to see what was going on.
3rd entry It's some kind of attack. Already they've taken the northern part of town. Lewis was on the top floor with a pair of binoculars, and he said that they're already moving heavy equipment to the refinery. He also said that they've been taking people away, the dead and the wounded and those who surrendered.
We got a few photos of them, which I'm putting in this journal.
4th entry It's been less then half an hour and already they're at the steps of city hall. Everywhere else is gone; there was simply no weapons or fighters there to resist them with. We've opened up the emergency armory and done our best to arm ourselves. It wasn't much better then what the other people out there had.
I'm not certain we're going to make it.
Most of the pictures are rather blurry, but appear to be distant shots of Cyborg Warriors and Assassins.

"Well, whoever it was, I certainly don't like the looks of it," Rank commented, cautiously following the Torchwood group into the building. The more he looked, the more the bad feeling came.
He took notice of the sound of something hitting the floor, and wandered over to see what it was. It seemed to be a notebook, with what appeared to be a map between the pages. That could be useful, he thought as he read over what was written in the book.
"You may be right about those cyborgs being behind this," Rank noted as he looked at the blurry photos. To the group in general, he indicated the notebook. "You guys might want to take a look at this."

"You guys might want to take a look at this."
Not liking the sound of Rank's tone of voice, Axl came and looked at the photos, Cinnamon following shortly behind. He picked up one photo and squinted at it for a moment before putting it back down. The second photo…
"Yeah, that looks like them."
"Are you sure?" Cinnamon asked.
"I was shot by one of them. It's hard to forget what they look like."
Cinnamon asked to see the folded paper. Opening it up, she looked at the map.
"Philips Road! That was it!" She thought aloud.

After awhile of nobody saying anything, Cinnamon spoke up again. "The cyborg said an address, and it was something north Philips Road!" she said, pointing at the map.
Axl took a look at the map. "Well, the only building on the map that's marked on north Philips Road is a refinery."
"That could be it."
"I think it's worth checking out." Axl turned to the rest of the group. "How about you guys?"

"You're probably right," Rank replied. "If that cyborg mentioned it, it might be important. But we'd also want to be careful, as it could be a trap."
"Not like we can't handle traps though!" Larissa piped in, striking a dramatic pose. "I say we go to the refinery!"

Owen was on the verge of calling out to Larissa as she moved suddenly. He cringed inside for the pain he thought she wuld feel but she seemed unphased by it. He has been amazed by her energy and regenerative powers. But, then again, she wasn't exactly human, as far as he knew.
Jack and Ianto walked over to Rank and Axl, glancing down at the map and notebook.
"Should we approach from different angles?" asked Tosh. Jack smiled at her. "We're not an army and we're not attacking... yet. We should probably stick together. Doctor?"
"Hm?" The Doctor stepped foward from his place in the shadows.
"You can get us in if the building is locked, can't you?"
The Doctor nodded and tossed his Sonic Screwdriver in the air, catching it as it fell back again. "Anywhere you like."
