got pet now owner not on

When the pound was down, I applied for a Spotted gelert who I nicknamed Dot (as you see in my comics). I got Dot and then she (owner) and me were on good terms. I thought for sure I was going to get her, so I put her in a comic or 2. If I lost her in a transfer, I was planning on getting my own spotted gelert.
Then the pound opened. The day I found out, I neomaild her to tell her, and saw she hasn't been on in a few days. Ok, I thought, that's normal. I chatted with her and she mentioned school makes her busy. Like it does for me. So I waited. and waited, and waited some more. Now she hasn't logged on in 226 days.

Now I don't know what to do. I want to make my own gelert (I would adopt, but then she would most likely not have "Dot" in her name), but what if she logs back on? I know by know it might not be likely, but still.

Nevermind! Made a new pet: Dotlin! yay! Just need to paint her spotted now.

226 days? Chances are, she won't be coming on.

Yep. Either she's not coming back on, or if she does, she should be able to understand why you got another Gelert. After all that time, she's the one who let down the bargain, not you. *shrugs*

Yea, that's what I figured. Gee, why did I put her in two of my comics?
Doesn't matter anyway, I just make another pet with Dot in her name like I planed, just dates will be off. Or I could adopt another gellert with a diffrent name and try that.

If you want a pet to be as old as the comics were but still have dot in her name, you could try combing the pound for any aged pets with Dot in their name then morph them into a Gelert ^^

Yea, I thought about that, but it takes forever to come thought the pound. I came up with a cool name though, Dotlin, and made a new gelert. I might come up with something about the comic bit. She's just in one and mentioned in the other (well, it mentions when shes coming, but I'm sure I can make something out of this)
