Odd. It keeps giving me an error about how all values must be filled in, but they were. Oh well.

The cash cards in this giveaway with also give free gift boxes. Which are rubbish because they are both cash card only, and because you can't give any NC Mall item you own. Such as the retired Halloween makeup sets

Such as the retired Halloween makeup sets I'm not sure I followed that complaint. >.> Sorry Lulu. D: But if I am one of the winners, mocking will be on the way. ;D I'm just excited for a giveaway I can participate in!

Why only people in the US, though? If they're giving away neocash cards, can't at least some other countries also use those things on neopets too?

I believe it has to do with various laws that they would have to be following for running an international sweepstakes and the like. Laws of the countries they're allowing in as well as the other countries.
Meaning it's probably cheaper and much less of a hassle to just do it as US only.

Sure there's laws about the NC cash cards being given away. But they could just do a sweepstakes for the raw NC. That'd cut out any legal issues, and the expense of shipping cards off around the US.

I don't have a problem with it, especially when you consider the plushie giveaways that were specific to one country (and that I couldn't get. Boo).
It makes sense to try to cut as many costs as possible associated with giving things away for free.

I'm not completely sure that'd cut out legal issues, though. All sweepstakes (of any kind) have to comply to gaming laws, and those laws are different with each country. Just because the NC isn't physical doesn't mean it doesn't have a monetary value.

Just because the NC isn't physical doesn't mean it doesn't have a monetary value. And since it is a form of money (like a gift card/gift certificate), it's got other restrictions and legal issues applied. They're not doing it simply because they hate the other countries. They're doing it because it's just not otherwise viable.

Well, lets not rule out all countries out altogether already. ^^; Remember when the JAKKS plushies came out? First, there was a giveaway in America for Limited Edition Plushies. A few months later, there was another sweepstakes in Canada. Again, a few months later there was a sweepstakes in Australia. So there definitely is a possibility that there will be more NC Card Sweepstakes in the future, but theres no telling which country it will be available in.
