What format do you send a short story? Do you just give your Username, Title of story, then story? Or is there a special?

Normally, I send my stories in like this:
Neopian Times Editor, Hi! I'm (so-and-so), and I'd like to submit a (so-and-so) for possible publication in the Neopian Times. The (so-and-so), entitled (so-and-so), is about (blah blah, a rainbow Aisha who follows her dreams, a Skeith who can't stop eating and goes on an exercise regimen, blah blah). Thank you for reading my (so-and-so) and considering its publication in the Neopian Times. Sincerely, (so-and-so) ---------------------- Then I'll paste my story here because attatching files is a hassle for me.

I put the story/article as an attachment, and put in a short note to the editor, like:
It's teghan62 again. My article/story is about (insert whatever its about here). Thank you for taking the time to read my story/article.
