Did you know that the Moleskine notebook seems almost as
if it's a fad? It's like its own category. There's notebooks;
there's journals; there's sketchbooks, and then in a different category,
there's Moleskine.
I looked up "Moleskine" in Google blog just not too
long ago. I came up with positive results. I saw
a bunch of people sharing the art in their Moleskine;
I got portraits of Moleskine taken by fancy Moleskine fan
photographers; I got people saying how much they love their convenient
little book. I haven't gotten so far as to finding
a place where people share their Moeskine's names. Would I
be surprised if I came across something like that? I
don't know. That'd be a little weird, but if I
do come across something like that, I'll be sure to put
in a good word for you.
"My little Nelly is my bestest friend ever!" I would say, "And
Nel understands me better than everyone!"
No worries. I don't want to embarrass yourself (or myself).
Seriously though. It almost seems as if a writer or
artist thinks of a moleskine notebook like an average person
would think of a Krispy Kreme donut. Soon, Starbucks will be
carrying Moleskine on their shelves, customized special with their logo.
You'll see!

Of course, that is a very well exaggerated entry about Moleskine notebooks that may not very well be true at all. The point of the matter is that the Moleskine deserves to have glory and praise for its sturdy pages, simple design, convenient carrying size, and of course, it's pouch in the back.
I enjoy Moleskine (Nel, I mean) because I feel it has a soul that makes me want to scribble away every second. It's a welcoming presence that will listen to my every sarcastic comment without complaint.
It's not like the average notebook. It's a Moleskine.
Moleskines have souls.
Join the Moleskine fan club so you now may selfishly brag about your buddies, stocked up on your shelves.
This is the place, artists and amateur artists!
